I'm so sorry I have abondoned this thread - I've just been too stressed to focus on weight loss. Things should settle soon and then I'll be back!

Hi Ladies, I will be joining you after the birth in October! I know I am having a little girl and I am determined to be a healthy role model to her! My Mum was always on a faddy diet when I grew up and I have been doing them since I was 15 myself!

I know you are all really busy but have you tried running? I always thought I would hate it but before I got pregnant I started to really get into it. I only ran slowly but I built myself up to 25-30 mins and it was such a stress and calorie buster! I only went out after dark with a baseball cap on but I soon realised no one takes any notice of you anyway.

I have huge boobs but strapped them down with 2 bras and was fine. I plan to start again as soon as I can after my LO is born but it will be winter and the last two winters here in Denmark have been really snowy and icy so may have to wait a few months. Anyway if you do want to give running a go check out the runner's world website. The forums are great and you realise all sorts of people do it as a hobby and some are seriously overweight.

Keep up the good work, you are all doing great :D
 
HEY GUYS I WEIGHED MYSELF AND I HAVE PUT ON NEARLY A STONE AND I HAVE NIO IDEA HOW I GOT REALLY DOWN N JUST STARTED CRYING (sorry 4 caps b messin around) i really wanna loose this weight now so all healthy stuff for me
 
OMG....ive put on half a stone in the last 4 weeks.
I get maried in 7 weeks!!!! Im starting right now!!!
I cant believe i underestimated the amount of calories BF burns off. I have eaten less if anything since i stopped, but put it on :oops:
 
Right girlies i'm joining you all now i did start dieting last week and lost a fantastic 5 1/2lbs, unfortunately i've had a really bad week and probably put it back on, but now it's official think i'll start on Monday though as mum and dad are back from hols tonight and we're bound to have take away plus hopefully me and dan will be celebrating later he has his fitness test for police this morning if he passes this then he's back in work yippee!

So monday it is!

you can layla as long as you dont do anything drastic best thing to do is talk to your midwife about it make sure you are getting the correct portions of everything you need xxxxxxx

can i join this thread? i don't really need to lose much weight as breast feeding has done that for me. my prob is i'm flabby and stripy!
i will be in v v v hot france this summer and i know i want to go swimming, but also know i won't if i'm looking like this :oops:
so yesterday decided to start on abs and leg stretching (better than nothing). for the moment 30 abs morning and evening, then move up to 50 when it's becoming effective.

any other tips? and please don't say running as there probably isnt a sport i hate more!!

well done to you who have lost weight... it's easier said than done! :clap:
(and come and give me the motivation :D )
 
Do you like dancing Pips? I got a fab salsacise dvd from ebay and its so much fun you don't feel like your exercising! Also my friend toned her tummy after giving birth using a hula hoop every time she waited for the kettle to boil, she could keep it up for ages and her waist was tiny :D
 
lost a pound this week - would have liked more off but it's better a pound off than on! Am going to be better this week, no naughty fish and chips for me!

skatty- i used to be a professional dancer so my abs are there! they are just very far under the flab :think:
i still dance a bit with zoé but nowhere near what i did before. might try the hula hoop thing, sounds like fun as well ! :D

lindsay- you're still losing weight, even with the fish and chips! so well done

i'm addicted to bacon sandwiches at the mo, thats really bad. plus i only did one series of abs. i'm a naughty girl, must do this thing seriously!!

blimey! thats about the time i started to look fat (not pg)
i know a girl who only started to gain weight about 30 weeks and baby was fine. just check with mv if you're worried
 
Oh yeah big bump and i must admit big everything else :oops: ,but no weight gain :?
 
ive only got a bump not were else has got bigger oh excpet my boobs! :shock:
