Hi Ladies

hope you are all well - i never saw this thread. im on both FB and this as im also in the may mummies as im due 2nd june!

hope your all keeping well,

my movements are really hurting me at the minute feel he has no room in there to stretch or move like he should, i dont think he likes me being sat upright all day in my chair, feel i need to lay down or stretch out for him

I had a few quiet movement days over the weekend and was about to go in to be checked out, when all of a sudden bump river dance resumed and it's been wriggly ever since. Maybe it had changed position or something...
I'm measuring slightly small as well, so needing to keep an extra eye on movements and so I wonder if it was all in my head maybe? I'm not too concerned I'm measuring small- my boys were both sizeable weights so maybe this time it'll be a lighter package!
30 weeks on Sunday, really should start to think about getting organised...

I'm the opposite, I'm measuring ahead. Baby was estimated to be 3lb 5oz at my 29 week scan. I'm 30 weeks tomorrow and I'm not organised at all!

im in tomorrow for a growth scan i think he is fine - maybe just facing my spine so i cant feel him as much so will make sure tomorrow.

i have had a growth scan already and at 31+5 he was measuring 3lb2 so im behind they have also noticed i have calcifications on my placenta meaning it is likely to fail before 40 weeks so im getting monitored very closely.

im so not ready or organised yet lol xx

It just shows how every pregnancy is different! I am in next week for another growth scan, hoping that baby's growth has slowed down otherwise it's looking good likely I will also be induced early via a csection. Good luck for tomorrow!

Oh wowsers!! Lots of growth concern activity going on then...I'm just over the 10th centile, they didn't have this system when I had my last 2, it went purely on bump size. Not being checked again for a couple of weeks unless I have concerns and I go into day assessment, so will see what happens then. A friend of mine measured small with her second and had to have several growth scans, he was born at term and over 1lb lighter than her first. He was just a smaller baby. I'd rather they kept an eye on it of course though-but I'm sure I'll either catch up or just have a lighter one this time x

he has put on a 1lb in 2 weeks so they are not concerned but will continue to monitor me. they think he weighs 4lb 2 but these scans can be out either way and he was laid very awkwardly.

That's lovely news about the growth, I was told at this stage they put on a lb every fortnight so it sounds like he's on schedule. I have Gestational diabetes so on a strict carb diet to ensure my baby's weight doesn't escalate.
