***June 2019 Mummies***

Maybe you have strong stomach muscles Baby! Darcy was on our list, love it! And that is how I would spell it but I think looks lovely any way! Maybe try writing the whole name out and the name with your other children’s name to see what it would like on a card? Xx

I really like the name Darcy such lovely name either way you decide to spell it.

As for prams we quite like silver cross pursuit or Mama and papas xt3 flip, also was looking at icandy lime as the built in buggy board would be handy x

Personally I like it spelt darcie, but I agree wrote full name down and see what looks best.
Nope not jealous, just glad she had a boy Haha

I like Darcie but like the others said try writing it down see how it looks
My friend spells her little girl Darcey

Originally I wanted to spell Bobbie with the ie but when I looked it up it’s girls way of spelling it so we’ve gone for Bobby instead

I’m very intrigued to see what Megan will be calling her baby, can’t see it being our name though haha

Yes im going to be scanned again at 37 weeks to check for size & position. It’s quite weird for me as both my other 2 were head down for ages before birth but clearly this one wants to be right way up for a bit longer lol. It actually makes sense now though as the last week or 2 I’ve been getting real sharp stabbing pains low down so it’d make sense that it’s baby giving my cervix a good kick in!

Baby I like Darcie, personally think it looks prettier & more feminine than Darcy.

Marvellous the peeing is awful for me too! So much so I’ve reduced water intake, especially if I know I’m going out! I know you shouldn’t & should keep water up but I just can’t deal with the peeing! I can’t believe how much I still go when I don’t drink that much, let alone when I do! It must be 40 times a day some days!!

So exciting that some of you literally only have a few weeks left !!! Can’t wait to start seeing the birth announcements coming in! Speaking of babies coming, I guess we might not be able to come on here as much & I know someone mentioned a WhatsApp’s group before which I thinks a great idea. No doubt we’ll all be up 2,3,4 in the morning feeding so we’ll want someone to talk to lol. Shall we set one up?

Caz I like both of the silver Cross and mamas and papas. Not keen on the icandy, but then I don't really think I've liked any of there prams.

Personally I'd go for the silver Cross as I think it looks lighter and more compact than the mamas and papas. It's easier to get in and out if the car etc.

I like it Darcie but hubby said Darcy as that's the only way he's known it to be spelt, yet his boss reckons that Darcey is the female way of spelling it. I dunno, like you've all suggested I think writing it out and seeing which looks best it the better option. That or picking the name out of a hat haha

I'd be up for joining a Whatsapp group. I think I said before that my last pregnancy Forum group stayed in touch via WhatsApp, and 6 years later the majority of us still speak on a daily basis. It helps to have a bunch of mums going through the same things at the same time, makes you feel less alone especially in those first few weeks while you all adjust to life with a new born.

My peeing only really gets me on a night time, or if I've been sat for any length of time and then stand up lol. But then I do drink loads so it's probably my own fault lol.

Ive done some cleaning today, cleaned and tidied all upstairs. My god do I regret it now, my back and hips are on fire! Just having a quick soak in the bath before heading down to watch game of thrones.

I really hope they didn't peek too soon with that battle. I've an awful feeling this episode isn't going to hold up in comparison to the last episode

How do we go about it? Everyone send their numbers on here or private message?

I done all my cleaning on Friday but you wouldn’t think it now! Clients have increased the last week so everyday I’ve had 1-3 clients coming for treatments even over this weekend which may not sound a lot but when your used to just a few a week to everyday I feel like I need a day off now haha. I did have a nap earlier between 3-4 because I just felt so tired!

Me & hubby are just about to sit down to watch GOT! I’m so excited! Just don’t know what we’re going to do once it’s finished... we’ll i guess we’ll have a newborn then so won’t have time for tv lol

Lovely news about the royal baby - don't think she will pick Elijah so hopefully that won't become popular any time soon!
Baby.3 I'm debating getting shares in gaviscon as I'm drinking it like it's going out of fashion. Honestly, even though my bump seems to have dropped the acid has returned with a vengeance. I have heard you can get in on prescription if you're desperate though.
I would be up for a WhatsApp group too. I think I would access that more and easier than this forum. Especially the new layout, can't quite get to grips with it yet x

Same here Linnett, GOT tonight and Endgame later in the week! Gotta get my geek on, it's been a while x

Oh also, as a teacher, I only saw Darcy spelt this way and that wasn't considered male spelling so you're okay on that front :)

I’m up for the what’s app group chat too :-)

I be up for WhatsApp group just need to create an account first as not on WhatsApp, when we I had my youngest we set up a private fb group and even after 3 years we still chat regularly and post loads etc x

Baby - my thoughts on prams was I preferred silver cross for newborn but xt3 l
frame looks bit more compact fitting into the car etc x

Have you all started to set up baby things yet? X

I’ve got my nursery all finished, not made the cot up or anything yet though. My prams still in the boxes at my grans house but we did put it together when we got it to check it over

I’ve got all my bottle stuff but I’ve not took anything out the box yet, I don’t know what’s stopping me from looking at it all but I just keep thinking I’ll get it all out and prepared when I’m due

No nursery here, because the house has been a building site for months and only just got our bedroom back. We are working on the nursery next but haven't set anything up. Might set up the moses basket and stand in our bedroom and the baby car seat. Apart from that I thought I was organised with my hospital bag haha xx

It looks lovely xx

I'm trying to think how we set up whatsapp before :/ it's been so long I don't actually remember. But will probably be easier if we all message one person then that person adds us all to the group. Once where all in the group I believe you can add numbers and names? I don't mind setting it up if you want to pm the mobile numbers, or I'll pm my number to whoever wants to set it up lol.

I've got my pram up, in the hallway but it's not dressed, mattress is still in plastic wrap etc. Same with the moses basket and next2me. Clothes are all washed and in the wardrobe, but other than that everything is still packed away. Bottles and steriliser is still is boxes, not going to bother getting those out unless I actually need them.

Smithy I heard you can get stuff on prescription, might ask for something a bit stronger as I seem to be drinking the gaviscon like its a milkshake!

Caz, if the xt3 is smaller I'd go for that then, is it also lighter than the silvercross? It's deceiving isn't it as looking online the xt3 looks much bigger frame and chair wise than the silvercross. Definitely pays to see the prams in person and try them out.

Smcx your babys nursery's is lovely :) love the furniture. I'd loved setting my little boys nursery up, use to just sit in the admiring everything lol. Unfortunately little miss doesn't have a nursery, we only have a 3 bed and the boys refuse to share. Which is fair enough as there's a 10 year gap between them lol. So we'll have to move in the next 6 months! I'm not too fussed though, as I always said that if I was fortunate to fall pregnant again I'd have baby in with me for as long as possible. With my youngest I naughtily put him in his own room before the 6 month advisory. He grew up really fast and I feel like I didn't make the most of his baby months. I was too bother about keeping the house orderly or getting him in to a routine. Fully intend to make the most of baby snuggles this time round xx

I’ll pm you mine baby :)

I’ve literally got nothing ready at all. We were going to go Ikea today to get the chest of draws & daybed that’s going in babies room but then we couldn’t be bothered & said we’d just order it instead but their bloody websites been down all day! The bed will act as a spare for me & then it’ll eventually be babies bed when he / she gets older. Don’t think we’ll get cot just yet as I’ve got the cozee bedside crib so baby will be in that for a little while anyway & like you said baby i want to cherish this one a little more & have them with me for longer. When I look at my 8 & 5 year old I see how quickly time goes so I want to baby this one as long as I can lol. We’ve got a fair few dumbo things for baby, teddies, changing mat, items of clothing etc so I really wanted to get a dumbo border & just leave the rest of the room white & just accessories with wall stickers or pictures but I can’t seem to find a nice dumbo border I like. I thought there would be loads but there’s hardly any on the internet !

We've been away for the weekend, it was a nice break but I'm definitely ready to slow things down and just prepare for baby now! I'm really uncomfortable and just struggling with everything - I think I've got thrush again, which is the fourth time since having the stitch and I never had it before that!
I used the bag I'll be using for a hospital bag to go away so will get that packed ready this week now, I've washed all the car seat and carrycot and Moses basket covers, and all the bedding, the sling etc. I'm slowly getting through the clothes, but have enough ready for her to have at least 2 changes of outfit until she's 3 months anyway  so not too concerned about getting all the rest done!
I plan on putting the car seat in the car and getting everything set up next bank holiday Monday, before having the stitch out on the Tuesday. I think I've got everything, just going shopping on Saturday for nursing clothes. Our little boy is still in the nursery and baby will be in with us for ages anyway, so going to decorate the spare room how our little man wants it (probably diggers) ready to move baby into the nursery.
I've got 3 weeks so 9 days left in work and I'm really counting down now!
I really like the name Darcie and would spell it like that. We had a change of heart regarding names this weekend - we were set on Harlow Sienna but have decided that we might prefer Evangeline - it seems more classic and feminine but still strong and unusual. And we'd probably have Harlow as a middle name. What is everyone's preference between Harlow and Evangeline please? Our little boy is Hendrix.
Oh, and we have the xt flip - still use the pushchair for our little boy but will revert back to the carrycot for the baby so have bought a buggy board to go with it - we've found it great, I really like the big basket underneath.
Right, think that's me caught up
Xx
