Woohoo, we're finally here!

I can't believe how fast the time seems to have gone since hitting 12 weeks! On count down now, soon be holding our little bundles. I can't wait to see them all :D

In the meantime, lets use this time to gossip, encourage and moan about everything and anything... it's totally allowed while pregnant lol. Wishing you all a happy, healthy and easy Tri 3 <3:bump:

Yay! Thanks for setting up tri 3 thread. Bring on the last few months :) xx

Thanks for starting the thread, looking forward to all the new arrivals over the next few months xx

Well done Baby! Eek! So exciting to finally be here. We are on the home stretch now ladies!!

Can't believe we're here...the first 12 weeks went soo slowly and now feels like time is flying!

Hope everyone is doing ok...my alarm this morning was sudden cramp in my calves and feet, fun times!

Gave my work notice for my mat leave today, last day is 31st May. Hopefully baby doesn't come early as looking forward to those 2 weeks off doing nothing but eating and sleeping! :D

It doesn't feel like it's flying to me, it feels like it's dragging. I'm 27 weeks tomorrow, I hope the 3rd trimester speeds up a bit! Having to go on maternity leave so early hasn't helped. I can't wait until I have my baby in my arms now! I'm hoping that because he's measuring a couple of weeks ahead I won't have to go overdue!

I’m with you on this Abi, I feel like it’s dragging so much. Ever since 20 week scan I’ve felt like the weeks have just slowed down! I can’t wait for baby now too, keep thinking about the birth & it makes me so excited. Can’t wait to find out what he have. My other 2 were born at 41 weeks so I’m surely due an earlier one or atleast on time this time! Lol

So today I had my follow up scan after the 20 week scan to check the kidneys as they were 0.2mm larger than they should have been on the 20 week scan. We saw the specialist at the hospital and he was really great, really reassuring and he says the kidneys are perfectly fine and now within range so I don't need to worry. Its such a weight off my mind and will really help me be more positive going into the birth.

The specialist also said he thinks I will give birth early because baby is now 2 weeks ahead and 90th centile or above and 1.2kg. I've got to say I'm relieved. We have had unseasonably cool weather so far this year, it's 'only' been in the high 20sC but next week it's meant to go up to 37C. I'm not looking forward to being pregnant in the summer when it gets into the high 40s so if baby comes sooner then all the better!

I also made an amazing hot cross bun loaf today so I'm feeling very proud of myself!

Fantastic news Abi!! You must be releived now. :)

I can’t even imagine that heat, I was pregnant through summer with my first and it was bad enough and that was Uk heat!!! Xx

Glad everything went well Abi & it’s out your mind at ease :)

Although I don’t see how the specialist can say because babies measuring bigger means he’ll come early. Babies come when they are ready & could just mean he’s big now & will continue to grow big until he’s full term lol. My son was a 9.10lb & didn’t show his face (literally lol) until 41 weeks exactly. I thought he would come early because he was engaged for weeks & I was 2cm dilated at 37 weeks & he’d clearly dropped in those final weeks but the little monkey had no plans to come out yet so just saying try not to get your hopes up from what he’s said xx

Ok I'm 27 weeks so I'm moving in lol
How are you all? I had a horrific night's sleep. Littlest has brought germs into the house so we're all infected?

Went out yesterday to the beach with my husband . Was nice to get out in the sun and have some quality time with him. Think I'd neglected him abit.

Anyone settled on any names yet? We are thinking of using Matilda either as a first or second name.

I love Matilda! I wanted my second called that but oh wasn’t so keen.

Sounds like a lovely day yesterday. Shame about illness today. :( hope you all feel better soon.

I actually slept quite well last night, oh also is poorly with temperature and achy- fell sleep on sofa early and didn’t wake up till morning so had bed to myself :)

I think we have settled on Ivy. Other girls are Rosie and Lily so wanted something plant/flower but not too obvious like Poppy or Daisy. Oh wasn’t so keen but then his grandma passed away a few weeks ago and at funeral we discovers her middle name was Ivy! I told him it was fate and he really likes it now as reminds him of her.

30 weeks today! Knee is healing really well but SPD is really bad! Pain whenever I stand. Don’t know if I should go back to physio again as already seen her twice and don’t know what more she can do really. Annoying cause I managed to control it so well with my second but after my knee accident I haven’t been able to do the same exercises again this time :( xx

We are pretty sorted on the name. We have decided on Rory and since we have booked tickets to the UK for SIL's wedding we have had to book one for him with his name so it will cost us quite a bit to change it now! But we got such a good deal on flight prices it will still probably work out cheaper even if we change his name than if we waited to book flights.

Linnett, I'm also not sure about the way they say that him measuring big means he will come early. I'm not sure if they mean that literally or are hinting they might induce or schedule a section so they can make him come early. I'm in 2 minds about it. I would really love the chill hypnobirth waterbirth and can't if I'm induced but I know from when I had my bleed that I was willing to do anything so if there is a risk of him getting stuck I would do anything to make sure that doesn't happen. And my friends who have babies already seem to suggest that a calm scheduled c section is easier to recover from and less risk of PND than an emergency section especially after the mum is exhausted from a difficult labour or a complicated birth with forceps and stuff like my mum had with me and my sister. Plus I see news stories of 15lb babies and I really don't think I can do that so if he's going to be huge then I'm all for getting him out sooner however I can!

I've had a really nice day today. I went into work for the last day of term party and then went to my friends house for lunch and to see her 2 boys. It was such a nice day and it was great to get out of the house. I did notice that when the boys were watching peppa pig baby started kicking away like mad. How can he be into peppa pig before he is even born! I'm tired now though. There's no way I could have lasted much longer working in the nursery even part time. I'm not even sure how people look after their own kids when the are pregnant with the next one, it must be exhausting!

It certainly is Abi
I love the name Matilda Marvellous and have always wanted to call my little girl that but it's just far too popular hear now, you hear it all the time and a friend and close colleague's little girls are called Matilda!
I think we're set on Harlow xx

Evening all!

I have been so busy just haven't stopped this week. Friday tomorrow thank goodness. Really excited as I won a £250 newborn baby photo shoot at the pregnancy fair and going for my consult this Saturday!

You have all chosen gorgeous names! I have found boys names really tricky but we like Elijah for our little boy. It's been hard as a teacher to find names of boys I haven't taught or got bad associations with. Plus my partner has been more fussy than I have.

I'm doing pretty well. Very nearly 30 weeks, it's going insanely fast now. I'm excited and scared to give birth. Heartburn and indigestion are back with a vengeance and my lower back is terribly sore. Peeing through the night and also getting tired again.
It's all part of it I guess though. Not long to go!

Morning ladies!

My daughter loves the name Matilda but her name is Madison so I think it’d be to much “Ma” lol.

We haven’t a definitive on names yet but we both really like Thea Florence for a girl. Undecided on boys. Hubby likes George but i feel it’s too traditional & doesn’t go with Madison & Kian. I really like Hudson & Hendrix middle name Robert so we’ll see. Will probably end up being something totally different ha!

Ladies, I ordered the hypnobirthing book “Your Baby, Your Birth” which came yesterday. OMG I urge you all to buy it. I’m about a 1/4 way through already & already feel so much more relaxed about everything. You download these 2 MP3s, ones relaxation & the other affirmations. The relaxation is incredidle. It put me to sleep last night & I slept like a baby! (Not that they sleep but you know what I mean lol). It’s all about breathing & being I tune with your body & the science /hormones that come into play in pregnancy & labour & just gives you a great understanding as to why things happen the way they do. I felt like I wasn’t prepared at all with my last too & I really want this time to be calmer & much smoother & I really think this book & the activities involved will help. Honestly if you don’t have it, get it. It’s £8 something & came next day. Deffo worth a read :)

Love the name thea. It's beautiful. Thinking Matilda will be the middle name as we've got more stuck on a different name now we like lol. My daughter chose Matilda after her fave book lol.
Love the boy names too, we had Phoenix if baby was a boy. I find boys names so much harder. We did when we picked my son's name, Austin.

I’ve been checking on this all week thinking oo it’s quiet then realised we’d moved the chat over to third tri haha!!

Abi I’m glad everything went well at your appointment.

My aunties little girl is called Tilda which is nice as you don’t hear of it like you hear of Matilda

I’m 31weeks on Monday can’t believe how fast it is going. Got my midwife app on weds so see how that goes, but I’m feeling pretty good. I’m finding baby is very active when I’m in work I just feel like lumps sticking out the side of me and my belly’s quite hard it’s weird!
Been feeling slightly hormonal this week, just tired after work and my back is aching and my other half has an annoying face! Hahaha but other than that I feel good!

We're very much into the same names Linnett, our little boy is Hendrix and we had Thea and Madison on our girl list xx

I just think Thea is so pretty yet such a strong name too. I said to hubby it’s like the female equivalent of Thor lol. I like Phoenix but it’s my sons best friend at school so not one I could choose. I’m always listening out for names in the school playground or at the children’s after school activities as I just don’t want a name that’s too common.

Can’t believe some of you are 30/31 weeks! I’m so jealous ha. I’m already hoping baby will only make me wait 10-11 weeks but I know in reality it’ll probably be more like 14! :(
