*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Thanks, Hope so Belfa. they wanna get me into day assessment, just waiting for a call back.x

Oh dear Lucy, hope its just a one off. Are u feeling ok otherwise?

Did any one watch obem last night? Gutted its taking a break now for a few weeks, just when we need it the most lol x

Aw no Lucy - that is exactly what happened to me. Don't worry about it. I got taken in to MAU - had a blood pressure monitor put on, trace for the baby and few blood/urine tests. All came back saying no pre-eclampsia, so they will just be checking you are the same! They still don't know why my BP went so high, and i still get the odd headache - but feel a lot better. And my swelling in feet and hands has got better.

Hopefully you are discharged after a few hours like I was, and just gotta keep an eye on BP! Might be change in weather causing it! Am really glad you phoned to get it checked tho! Always better on the safe side! Take it easy and let us know how you get on xx

Hi everyone, been AWOL for a while, between having my friends from home come visit and throwing me a surprise baby shower and then having our babymoon in the Brecon Beacons. Had such a nice break from work, feel all refreshed to bang these last few weeks before maternity out the way now!

Yes, it's me who's moving. Have handed in our notice to leave end of May, a grand total of 14 days before baby is due! Waiting on this affordable house that's being built, with a completion date of 28th May, a grand total of 18 days before baby is due! God knows when we'll hear if we've got it. All fun and games!!! In the meantime we will be back at the in laws, not ideal but 100% better than where we are now. Cutting it a bit fine I think! Keep telling myself we will look back and laugh in a few years... Hmm, we'll see...

Cannot believe I've missed the first June baby! Did not expect that at all, congrats Emma, glad to hear you're all okay :)

In other news, my engagement ring finally arrived. Ahhh, it's a beaut!!

Hope you're all well, I'm still chugging along as usual :) xx

Nice ring :)

I watched OBEM, usually do. Looking forward to getting my baby. Won't be long now really for any of us :D

I seem to be getting a lot of 'fanny daggers' today :(

Ooo very pretty!! Glad everything's progressing with the move too x

Thanks Ladies. I'm back home now, Here's hoping I was getting quite a few headaches most days so that led to me getting my BP checked out. It jumped from 110/70 last week to 149/93 and I've always had low BP like forever. They took it a few times and then it started to go down. Also hooked me up to measure baby's kicks as they were awfully quiet this morning. Waiting for a call back re my bloods as they reckoned it would be about an hour or two. I reckon the weather isn't helping colettypie. It's been awfully hot down south. Gonna try and stay calm too as stuff been stressing me out the past few days. I might ask my brother if I can borrow their BP machine as they won't need it after fri.

Lovely ring bethyboo. Hope your house move is all straight forward.

it must be over 20degrees here today, it took me an hour to go and get a sandwich for lunch as I was waddling so slowly. I've totally lost my appetite today.

Glad it's come down Lucy. Mine had been really low too and at my last MW appointment I had to get it taken twice as it was high the first time and then low again.

I haven't had fanny daggers since tri 1 buggy and hope they don't return.

I was thinking of you at lunch Coletteypie as I though I was peeing myself a little at one point! x

Oh for Gods sake! Ive got the right hump with our childminder. She can have a bit of an attitude, she's very firm on having things her way all the time, i've always tried to let it go. Now she's just announced she want's to cancel DD's care a week early which means I have no-one to look after her on the last day I have to go in to work and I absolutely HAVE to go, it's my last day to handover and return my laptop etc!

I said to her (she always texts) 'It's no ideal but I suppose I'll have to sort something out' and she replied 'yes you will' does anyone else think this is really rude? I've not replied but I'm so put off taking DD there now in case she is funny with me or worse with DD when I'm not there to see! I just want to cancel it but then it leaves me a bit of a childcare problem on a Thursday afternoon.. I don't know what to do!

Buggy she sounds like a right boot! I would ditch her anyways!!

LOL Belfa - that made me giggle. I'm so glad you think of me when you have a pee escape issue ;-)!!! Its soooo annoying tho. My crazy wee baby is thumping my bladder, I don't stand a chance!! Waddling with a baby head down in pelvis is the worst haha! Is a gorg day up here tho :)!

I can't believe I am due in 6 weeks. I'm having a wee freak out!

Totally rude!! I'd not be using her again. At the end of the day you're paying her for a service and she should show you better customer service. Could you find a new childminder at short notice or as a last resort take DD with you? I know that's far from ideal but in our work maternity policy we're told we can bring our LO in for handovers etc x

Or 3 weeks til full cooked.....

I know! One time I text to see if she'd still take DD that day because she had a cold (she was fine in herself though) and she replied saying 'as long as she's not too clingy' - sorry so as long as she isn't too much hard work for you?

When I first signed the contract I didn't agree to the bit about her taking photo's of DD to put on FB. I don't like having photos of her about too much and OH is really funny about it so I refused and she actually got a bit stroppy and said she would have to keep DD out of group activities so she could take pictures of the other children. I felt like walking out then but I'd just signed the contract and was sat in her front room so felt really under pressure!

Argh, don't get me started with Childminders Buggy... We've been through a fair few in the last 5years due to moving house so often.

One even took it upon herself to ask an SEN to observe my son for ADHD (as her step son had it and she though DS showed signs too - he was just bored of being plonked down in front of the tv in the sitting room all day!!)

Another told me she dreading working on the days she saw my son. Was so upsetting, especially as my son is actually very lovely and so so polite, he and another mindee just couldn't play nice together. The other mindee whom was there full time whereas DS was only part time. I took him away from there and he's in a lovely place now, and the woman cant understand why the other (they are best friends) had any issues.

Pardon my rant, just get annoyed at childminders sometimes.

Only 3 more shifts until Mat leave starts :D

starting to get a sore bump - like the skin is super sensitive and it hurts to touch. Anyone else?

xx

So been to the hospital for growth scan and to see the diabetes midwife today. Doing great with the diabetes as not had any high readings by purely controlling diet.

However baby's estimated weight is plotting only a smidge above the 10th percentile at 3lb14oz. I have to go back in another 2 weeks to make sure that growth doesnt slow down at all as then they would look at inducing early. Looks like I need to get a few more tiny baby bits of baby is going to be dinky. Funny tho as OH was born at 32 weeks and weighed 3lb10oz when he was born so is about the same as he was. I wasnt big either as was born at 39 weeks weighing 6lb6oz.

Anyone else been predicted a little baby? X

I wish babyscotcher! Mine will be the other end of the scale ;)

I'm right of childminders now Pismo! x
