*** July mummies to be ***

Well girls that was eventful!!

Beautiful baby boy finally delivered by forceps at 9.18pm weighing 8lb 7!.. gas and air only (not through my choice!) lots of failed epidurals and spinals.. then was too late for any other painkillers.. it was painful and horrific I'm not going to lie but such a relief now his here.

Very very tired, finally had some toast, hadn't eaten since 8 this morning.

I will upload some pics 2moro xx

Hope everyone else is feeling ok xx

That's amazing July, well done you and congratulations on the birth of your baby boy x

Congratulations July!!

Wow we are getting through them hey, July crew!!

the restless leg/attacking my whole body has become a bit much. I need to buy a giant cotton nightie and wash my bedding again to see if it makes any difference.

As usual it's all calm this morning after being jumpy and painful and pressured last night.

Can't be long now!!

Congratulations Julybug. Hope you got some rest last night x

Woohoo! Congratulations x1000! That's really horrible that they couldn't give you relief, but hey, you did it!

Congratulations JulyBug. Hope it all becomes a distant memory after lots of baby cuddles and rest. We still booked in with original plan of section this Friday. Had a scan and ctg yesterday and another ctg to go for today just to keep eyes on baby. Finish line is in sight now ladies.

Still waiting for baby!! Booked in for a second sweep at the end of the week though, but hoping baby gets a wriggle on before then! Had loads and loads of pressure yesterday and today, along with feeling weird and having period pains last night. Tummy seems to be having a clearout since last night too which is a relief from being constipated (sorry for TMI!) so hoping things are finally going in the direction they need to!! Don't think I can wait much longer, I'll be 41 weeks tomorrow!

Hope Mummy-hood is treating you well! X

I am HIGHLY emotional tonight...

God I am definitely ready to not be pregnant! Even though practically, after this weekend would be best

How is everyone?

I had a rubbish nights sleep with this muscle twitching stuff

Now I'm determine to have the whole house clean and tidy at the same time... Which is going to take a lot of work and probably not last very long!!

Ha, I wish I had your energy! I just woke up on the floor of the living room (which isn't as bad as it sounds, sofa doesn't arrive until Friday) and I'm struggling to do anything productive. The flat is total chaos, but I'm not that bothered...I really can't do much about it.

What have you guys got for the baby to sleep in? I was going for a Gro-Snug, but you can only use them up to 12lbs, which might not be long. I know, I'm a teeny-weeny bit unorganised over here...I've nearly put the pram together though!

How's everyone doing?

I've just found 5 minutes to come and update, the last coupl of days have been pretty awful.. having some very bad side effects from the failed spinal block.. severe migraines and back pain.. was back in hospital yesterday getting looked over, will be back for treatment if it doesn't improve.. i feel so awful, I feel like I'm dragging myself from one moment to the next and not enjoying my baby boy at all.. I just want to feel myself again an not in all this pain.

LO is doing well though bless him, his such a cutie,, sleeping all the time.. wish I was! xx

Julybug sorry to here your feeling so bad. Baby boy is beautiful he looks so chilled out in that pic xx

Coolnomore we have a next to me crib which i love. Wish i'd had one for Riley but just had him in bed with me as he was a very snuggly baby so this crib would have been perfect for him.

Not heard of poddle pod before salisburymum. Just had a google looks like i will be buying one. Have you used it before?

Oh July I can completely sympathise so you are not on your own. This c-section has been the worst compared to giving birth naturally. I also had a fibroid removed from my ovary during and I'm in a lot of pain and been suffering with headaches. The only thing that makes me feel better is to lay completely flat. Your little boy is gorgeous-does he have a name?

I have a purflo nest which has been amazing, wish I had one first time around. It fits in nicely in my co-sleeper. I'm using cellular blankets at the moment whilst she is so tiny and then switching to grosnugs and sleeping bags
