*** July mummies to be ***

Rang my diabetes team their really happy with me I've kept my bloods within range and most are fairly low so I'm happy I did forget to take my tablets so took them after and now feel sick as xxx

Apoocalypse! Horror. Is it bad that the stack of clean towels is what bothers me the most?! Well, good luck with that...

I tried playing classical music to the bump, but I got bored so now it's Book of Mormon and I'm singing along merrily. I swear, working from home is the best/worst thing that's ever happened to me.

The stack of clean towels sucks, the fact that the majority of it is on the beautiful bedspread that I bought for each of the boys so that's been soaking in the bath all day.

He's also poo'd on the edge of my bed, which need scrubbing off, boiling the water to do that now :(

It's just crazy here. I've got to get the bedrooms and the bathrooms clear then I can think about having dinner. I might have to order in I don't think I can bare to cook tonight

Do it! This is no time to be cooking. I hope the bedspread survives. Poor wee man! Is he feeling any better?

He seems fine. I just told him what I was up to (removing poo from the bathroom) and he said 'well, sometimes we just have to deal with this stuff'

Gee thanks

Does anyone plan on using essential oils during labour?
I ordered a birth ease labour kit that has lavender and clary sage oils but not sure how to use them to help labour. Lost the instructions that came with ot as i bought it months ago and only just found it whilst looking for something else

I will be using oils and have some idea of what to do. You want to burn some in a burner if possible and also mix some (just a few drops) with a base oil and use on your feet and back.

There are a few spots you should go for, ankles and heel on your feet is good as is around your hips and shoulders.

I could happily punch someone right now. Right in the face

no one in particular. Just someone.

Other than Clary sage and Lavender what oils would you recommend. What base oil is the best to use. I have almond oil is that ok to use?

Don't punch me. Are you okay? Xxx

I'm getting there, I finally settled to write some of my dissertation and I got so utterly overwhelmed with the details I need to put in and my brain went into overdrive.

I'm feeling a little better now xx

Almond is great, a really good base oil. I'll find out but I think there is another that's really good for bringing on labour (so we will want to start using it at 37 weeks, give me a day or two and I'll find out xx

Not suprised after the day you had. Hows your son feeling now?

He's top and tailing with his brother and feeling much better, I just hope he doesn't poo anywhere else... his bed, my bed, the sofa and the floor has to be the end of it, surely?

Ah that's the other one, Rose Oil for helping the placenta out.

So clary sage for the massage

lavender in the burner

then rose in the burner for the placenta delivery

or on muslins so you can breath in the scent (if in hospital)

Boys are both at school today and seem fine, had my midwives home appointment. Am going to have a birthing pool!!

So excited now, 8.5 weeks to go! Can't believe it

Sproglet is moving so much at the minute, it's starting to freak me out a little. He was so quiet last week that the midwife told me off for not coming into triage (but he was fine, of course). Could this be a response to stress? We're due to exchange on our flat by the end of the week and suddenly I feel like I'm wired to the moon. No amount of yoga is going to relax me like finally being in our new flat!

Well I could punch someone! Had issues with kids shouting things at my hubby and at me when I went to speak
To the parents who left an12 and 9 year old alone in the house the dad sorted it then the mum came and kicked off and I said to her straight you don't think your kids did anything but they did and found out how bad it's gotten here people messaged her slagging me off and I am sick of it! Told
Hubby straight get a posting away from here or I'm going home simple as. Could quiet clearly see how heavily pregnant I was and continued to be a cow. It was also my bday yesterday totally ruined it! I have baby group today but don't think I'll go I may just avoid going out now, all thanks
To one person causing drama and problems for my family for over a year xxx

violet it sounds Awful.
I have so much hassle with my neighbours, some People just have nothing better to do!!

Thank you will buy some rose oil today along with some raspberry tea capsuals ready to start them at 37 weeks.

Violet thats sounds like a nightmare to be in that situation especially with a young child and new baby on the way. What are the chances of your hubby getting a new post?
Happy birthday for yesterday maybe draw a line under it and celebrate it on a different day. Have you booked your spa day?
