Currently laying on the bed with my legs open being shaved by OH. Fml this is the worst, but I figure he's gonna see a hell of a lot worse in the next few weeks lol

Hahaaa, I love this, so funny. I said to midwife about it as they still have to do stuff down there and she was like, "oh my god, don't bother, save yourself the trouble". Still going to try though.

Hospital bag is now packed!

Same! Got the last of my stuff in just incase I end up at the hospital. Sent OH into boots today to buy 9 packs of maternity pads on their 3 for 2. He was delighted haha xx

I need to buy more for after I am back from hospital! Only taking a pack of 10 with me.

OH is weird and doesn't mind buying stuff like that for me, he even offers too haha x

Lol I would never ask hubby to do that, no way! I am still managing to do this, thank God! In fact have to do it tonight, I am taking DD swimming tomorrow so no choice! x

This made me chuckle, my other half trimmed me a few weeks back he loved it he took his time and was like hold on I’m not happy stay still a little bit longer.... didn’t realise he was a fanny trimming perfectionist

I’m gunna get him to trim me again when I’m at week 38/39 if I make it that far, just so it’s atleast a little tidy but I’m sure they’ve seen alsorts!

Haha that's hilarious! I know I said at 35 weeks it'd be the last time I used hair removal cream down there but I did again on Monday, really is the last time now though. I'm not particularly bothered about the midwives seeing but for me I'd like the feel cleaner when I'll be bleeding heavily for a while

Jem did the consultant say baby was engaged? I know you said you thought he would be

Since I posted earlier about how good I was feeling I've probably overdone it. Spent a few hours in the garden, mowed the lawn pulled loads of weeds and played with dd. I think I'm going to be sore tomorrow. Got a midwife app first thing

Shep can't agree more about the bleeding thing! I'm still managing to do it myself though its mostly by feel as I can't see it at all lol. May give the hair removal a try.

I don't know how you're managing the garden, it's up to OH to do our grass now. Be interesting to see if baby has went down at all tomorrow at your appointment since you're the furthest on (not including the new mum of two obviously lol) Fx Xx

Haha Jem. That's so funny but at least your OH helps! My hubby has so far point blank refused to help out in that department. I'm like you Shan and still doing it myself by feel. I'm sure I must end up with random patches.

I'm feeling exhausted these days, anyone else? I don't feel like I'm particularly overdoing it either but come around 6pm I feel like I could easily go to bed and sleep for a week.

Yep, 3 weeks today if it doesn't come before. I've got seriously bigger today. Bump is so high and huge. Think I need to start eating 10 small meals a day as I can't cope with food anymore. It just can't go anywhere as baby is squishing everything.

Sorry for the ignorance but it's hard keeping up with everyone, did you get a c-sec date? Or did you decide to go vaginal?

I think I'm like you, one hour I'm like "come on baby, whenever you like" the next I go "just keep tight in there for 3 weeks" haha

Can't wait to be waking in the mornings and reading this thread to more surprises during the coming nights.

My pelvis is getting soooooo bad to the point where I have to wake OH up every time I need a wee in the night as I can't get out of bed alone. Not surprising though knowing that alongside SPD, there's also 6lb 2oz worth of baby bearing down on it!!! Not sure how I'm gonna get through these next few weeks, I'm in agony :'(

Jem mine clicks now when I get up from bed it's horrible. Very sore today too , think I overdid it yesterday but away to Ivy's nursery group so have to suck it up. I'm sorry you're in so much pain, did you ever get any sort of support belts or anything? Xx

GG those three weeks are going to fly in! How crazy to have a date though. I do think it'll be you or Shepherdess next xx

Mala haha yep with the patches. I ask oh to have a look and he has offered but I don't think so lol. xx

Oh, I know that one. I cope middle of the night as I kind of roll myself out of bed but by morning, I'm knackered and Dan just puts his arm up for me to push against. He regularly has to help me off the sofa in the evenings though. Evenings get really bad. I'm fine through the day usually, just get on with things, but evenings are genuinely horrendous now.

PB, hope you and Lucas had a good night and you can go home today as a new family of four. So so thrilled for you.

I'm sure I won't be next, three weeks is a long time so sat here wondering who will be next

Haha sorry for telling you ladies about the after pains, I was worried something was wrong with me though like my body was still trying to push stuff out or something.
They're much better today though, so they don't last long!

Jem, sorry about the spd getting bad. Not long left though, specially of midwife thinks you'll go early

Glad your all getting hospital bags ready. Hubby finished mine for me when i started getting pains aha.

GG, we did OK. He's having problems with getting wind up, was gonna give some infacol but I'm unsure if he can have it being so early. Waiting for Drs to come round haven't heard anything about home yet

Yeah I have support belts and crutches and special massages for OH to do but nothing is helping!

I hope I'm next as I'm in agony, although I do want to make it to 37 weeks!

Aw Jem that's rubbish hun. I wish I could give advice to help it. I would say "not long know" but people keep saying that to me and it doesn't help at all, just annoys me lol Xx

PB how are you recovering? So glad you didn't have any issues like last time. And I forgot after pains existed until you said that lol. Can't remember about the infacol, hopefully doctors give you some helpful advice for his wind.. Ivy saw his picture on my phone yesterday when you posted it and asked to see. My 4 year old says he's so gorgeous lol xx

Have midwife coming out to see me tomorrow at the house about the homebirth. I'm actually so nervous about it!
