*July 2018 Mummies*

Great news PB, hope you get home tomorrow x

Amy, get yourself a can of coke or chocolate and the baby will wake up x

Took the dogs a walk and I can feel some movements going have dinner soon so she may perk up after that had the odd boot from her.

That's good Amy, keep an eye on her moves x

Great news PB I really hope they let you home tomorrow. Have they said whether they think baby was full term and your dates were wrong?

Amy if movements don't pick up then go in, it's always worth it

I'm getting jealous of those of you who think your babies are engaging, I'm sure mine is not haha

Had a lovely couple of days here for my birthday, 2 huge pub lunches and long walks. Think I've done 6 miles over the two days, feeling great for it. Super exited for my jurassic park date night with husband later this week. Husband has delayed buying me a birthday present as he's going to get me a piece of personalised jewellery after baby is born

Feel like I'm ready for baby now, next to me crib went up last night and hospital bag is finally in the car boot!

Just want to add for those having baby no 2 the after pains omfg they're bad bad bad. Still getting them feel like contractions again nothing near the end but way worse than period pain. They said the after pains get worse after each child!

No, they're still treating him just like a 35weeker. I'm sure i was more 36 weeks I even said to them. He didn't have any of that white stuff on him like they're supposed to if early. His hair is lovely though! Just missing the top part hair all over otherwise

Wow PB... I don't understand why they wouldn't suspect it might be labor! We aren't midwives and we all suspected it! Anyway congratulations on his arrival! Get some rest now.

Jem, hiccups in your vagina, that's crazy! I was having period cramps every now and then yesterday, and in the night and felt nauseous when they came on... But nothing today, just some tightening. I really wonder when this baby will come out! Looking forward to meeting some more of our babies... Hope everyone's having a good day and Amy, hope baby picks up soon!

PB he's gorgeous congrats. And lovely name, my nephew is called lucas x

Scan was okay he's measuring 6lb 2 and it's freaking me out a bit that he's gonna be huge!!

Consultant saw me for literally 2 seconds, praised me on how well I'm doing and told me everything is normal. My blood pressure is normal, baby is growing normal and on the 58th centile. He said everything is going really really well! It's everything I needed to hear :) it's almost like he knew I needed to hear it. Basically he's said there is no need for any intervention and I should have a straight forward, normal, natural labour! Wish that twat of a midwife was there to hear it! X

Aw PB congrats he's so beautiful and so tiny! Well done you! Mothercare have pretty good tiny baby FYI, and next first size is decent for the wee ones , Ivy was 6 11 and she needed tiny baby clothes, same with preemie nappies lol. Lucas is a fab name too. Take it easy and look after yourself hun

. Good to know the afterpains are worse haha thanks for that !! Xx

Aww PB, he's so cute. Love the name as it's close to what we had chosen if we were having a boy (Luca).

Sounds like a lovely few days for your birthday Shep. I could definitely go a pub lunch right now!

Amy, any more movement from baby now?

Glad things went great at your appointment Jem. That midwife you saw previously was clearly not good at her job if the consultant has basically said entirely the opposite of everything she was saying. I've not got much clue about what babies should weigh at certain stages but if they think 6lb 2oz at this stage is normal then I would go with that!

Aww PB he is so cute and good weight for being born early. Hope you get to take him home soon x

And thanks for the info re after pains, I could have done with not knowing :D x

Oh PB, Lucas is just perfect and I love the name. Good weight for 5 weeks early too.

Jem, my scan said baby was 6lb5oz at 34 weeks so god knows what tomorrows scan will say. Not that it matter as it's coming out the sunroof, lol. Think I'd be getting nervous if going for natural birth, lol.

Shep, mine hasn't moved down at all. Struggling a lot with it feeling like its trying to break out of the ribs under my right boob. It's so fucking uncomfortable! Sounds like a lovely time for your birthday xx

So went cinema this after seen book club, so funny and had some sweeties and guess what little lady perked up she’s having a mini party now.

Just sat here, watching my right boob moving completely independently...pushed by a foot. It's the second time it's happened. So uncomfortable but so funny watching my boob lift and wiggle on its own, lol.

Feeling a bit tired today, our little Mini Shetland Stallion was castrated this afternoon so was a lot of work that was fine on bump but hard on my back. Not as hard as it was for Paulo though I'm sure, lol.

Just off to waddle down the road to check he's awake enough to eat and go back into his stable. Poor little thing, he had really big balls bless him so he's going to be a bit sore.

Mine is 3/5 apparently at my appointment today, so you never know lol. I thought it was my imagination. Im in agreement here, definitely ready for baby too. Happy belated birthday for whenever it was! Beautiful gift OH is getting you though.

Jurassic park for us too on Saturday night, OH is like a kid about it. I'm actually looking forward to getting some time just us. It'll probably be the last time we go out together before baby comes xx

Hospital bag is now packed!

Same! Got the last of my stuff in just incase I end up at the hospital. Sent OH into boots today to buy 9 packs of maternity pads on their 3 for 2. He was delighted haha xx

Currently laying on the bed with my legs open being shaved by OH. Fml this is the worst, but I figure he's gonna see a hell of a lot worse in the next few weeks lol
