*July 2018 Mummies*

Midwives done like to see steady heart rates for long, a little up and down is much better

Yeah I'm not concerned as she said it was fine as he was active in there :)
She did say she thinks I'll go to about 37 weeks judging by all the preparation niggles and pains I've been having! But not active labour just yet haha x

Happy Monday ladies! And happy 37 weeks Shep. Almost there!

I'm joining those of you struggling to sleep and with the heat. I felt like I was going to pass out a couple of times in my antenatal class today. Not fun. I think I'll console myself with a tub of ice cream this afternoon.

Hope your appointments go well, GG and PB. I'm glad you had a better experience today Jem at the midwife.

I feel like I wasted my morning as my last antenatal class wasn't very useful today. Thankfully they're done now. Got some work to get through first and then hopefully I can get some cleaning done in the house. I think nesting mode is here!

I need to get moving on more housework as well.

Appointment with midwife was fab. She said I might be really uncomfortable, but I look a picture of health and keeping up my activity levels is obviously doing me a world of good, so to ignore everyone telling me to rest and do nothing, lol. Heart rate 120/70 so bang on where she wants it. Baby 150bpm so again bang on.

Had to do my MRSA swabs in prep for surgery...can't believe it is just 3 weeks and 2 sleeps away now. Midwife is so excited about it, lol.

Anyway, all good here, just have to put up with the discomfort of baby in the ribs a little longer, lol

Ladies, IDK if this is a false alarm or real...
Been having super strong period pain and back pain since I woke up (exactly same as when in labour with dd). Yday I lost a big blob of discharge... Now I've started timing the pain it's every 20 Mins roughly lasting 20-30 seconds. I mean obviously it seems abut early to be going into labour. So does anyone else know what it can be, maybe false labour??
Edit.. Also been feeling sick since waking, going to the loo loads for.both! Pressure on my pelvis vag is so strong like something needs to pop, can't walk without pain.

PB I would go in... that's a lot of symptoms. It won't hurt to be seen x

PB I've been the same but without the discharge. My midwife today said it's the cervix preparing for labour and it might be a couple weeks yet. Obviously I've not been in labour before so I dunno what's labour and what's not but atm I'm not too bad. But if you feel like it's labour, I would Def ring at least xx

PB definitely at least ring, especially with your 2nd hun. . I've had a lot of mucus discharge that isn't anything, for a while now, so hopefully that's nothing for you too. Fx for you xx

GG three weeks until you're a mummy oh my goodness Xx

Just had my bloody show. Just calling maternity to see what to do!!!! OMG

Oh fuck you're joking PB!

But do NOT panic, baby is almost full term hun. Whatever happens you're pretty much almost 36 weeks. Fx for you!! Xx

wow PB how exciting! good luck, let us know how you get on when you can.

how exciting our babies are starting

glad jemrose and gg have had good midwife apps, looks like you'll both be before due date to! at this rate I'll be the only one giving birth in July haha

I lost a bit of plug today, nothing meaningful but I'm glad. when pg with dd I lost chunks here and there from 35 weeks so I've felt like I've been waiting for something to happen.

husband and I drove to our hospital today, timed it and its 30mins and we now know where abouts we are going to. its a bit of a weight off my mind

Just on way to Hosp now, with my dates I'm 36 weeks anyway so not too worried and they'll be plenty of Drs around, plus he weighed 6lbs last week so he might be 7lbs about now who knows!! Haven't got any tiny baby stuff though. Contractions still only 20 mins apart. Feeling very very very sick though.
My consultant this morning assured me I was not in labour, knob.

Ohhhhhh PB my goodness exciting though. I'm sure all will be fine lovely, if baby is coming youre far enough along. Good luck hun :hugs: xx

Oh wow PB! Was going to say worth a call to see what they say then read your next post about the bloody show. Good luck!

Things are going in the right direction for you too Shep. I think I'm just under a 30 min drive to my hospital too. Midwife told me to go in when contractions are roughly every 3 mins but I thought that sounded like it was leaving it late! I guess they know these things though.

Knob indeed, you certainly have a lot of symptoms. Hopefully they can stop it for you so baby can cook a little longer, but at 36 weeks, lungs are fully formed and things will be a okay.

Will patiently await news....but go and forget about us lot and concentrate on yourself and baby. Very exciting stuff xxx

Haha Shep I'll be here at 40+14 knowing my luck. 30 mins isn't too bad at least, ours is roughly the same. Though I've never had to actually drive to the hospital while being in labour, a bit nervous about that lol Xx

I can't believe babies are starting maybe to come from our little group...I still remember everyone posting their 3+ on the tests!!

Wow! Looks like loads has happened... hope all is well PB and good luck!

I had a couple of instances of thick white mucus coming out... not sure if that is part of the plug?

Done a baby clothes inventory and put them all away and we are nearly sorted with the bedroom now... everything else is fine, feeling either tired or full of energy! Can’t win lol..

A friend of mine gave birth early and it’s made me wonder when she will arrive, it feels far and everyone says you go late with your first... hopefully she hangs on until 38!weeks because I’m at work until then!

Exciting times everyone!
