*July 2018 Mummies*

Jem, our bodies seem to leak from all different places during pregnancy... gross I know! But it won't last forever so try not to worry. Hope OH's dad gets good care at the hospital and feels better soon x

Shan, I'd leave the little monkey on the tree (kidding!), what a good lady you are for helping! And yes, that's boys for you! Good to hear that baby is head down and that your results are all good. Hope you get your home birth if this is still what you want x

Everyone has their MW appointments now and mine won't see me cause I have the consultant book for week 35... So my last appointment was week 28 with a different MW cause mine was on holiday and now she won't see me until 11th June (37 weeks!!). I just find it weird she doesn't want to see me for a chat....?

Yeah, that is a bit odd. Worth calling and asking again?

KHTW hm my last appointment was 28 weeks too, then I asked for the 32 week because I was so ill. So I'd have thought they'd see you if you requested an appointment. And I have my 36 week appointment booked now too because I'm unsure what birth I want, do the birth plan and visit the the labour suite again. Surely you should have one for 36? Consultant and midwife should be seperate I'd say. Xx

I have appointments every 2 weeks which tbh I find really annoying!

My normal midwife (not the bitch I saw the other day) got my dates wrong so I'm actually seeing her at 35 weeks rather than 34. So now I'm seeing the midwife and consultant within a day of each other! Don't see the point tbh haha x

do you want to see her? do you get the usual checks done with the consultant? I saw my midwife and consultant at 24 and 25 weeks and got blood pressure etc done and both and it had seemed pointless to have seen the midwife. obviously that was much earlier in pregnancy but I think if it was me it would seem unnecessary to see both. again if you want to see her for something in particular ring and try and book in

Glad your appointment went well Shan. I had my 32 week scan here. All looked perfect. Baby measuring 32+4 and I'm 32+3 so I'm happy with that. She's also head down and well positioned, and doctor estimates she weighs around 4lb 3oz atm. I don't have another appointment now until 35 weeks I think with my doctor.

Hubby and I had a productive day and even found some nappies on offer in a supermarket so bought loads haha. Also found some large maternity pads for after birth. Sexy.

Enjoy your baby shower Jem! Hope you're FIL is OK.

Fab about the scan Mala! Glad everything looks good. All you need now is your huge big Granny knickers for the pads and you're sorted haha xx

I just thought she would want to see me, maybe ask how I am doing? I don't need to see her. I am probably being weird lol x

Good news about the scan Mala. And well done for doing the shopping x

OH dad has been transferred to the stroke ward. I know it doesn't necessarily mean anything and maybe it's only ward they had a bed on. But the lady on the phone said she can't tell us over the phone and that a consultant will come to see him later. I personally, having medical knowledge, originally thought it was TIA (mini strokes) so we will soon see if I'm right or not. Off to the hospital now.

34 weeks for me today! X

Happy 34 weeks Jem. Fx it's not a mini stroke, though my grandad had a mini stroke a few months back and he's fine. Speech etc back to normal with no lasting effects. Just lifestyle changes. He doesn't have Parkinson's though but hopefully your FIL is okay. Try not to stress too much, easier said than done I know. xx

Think he's alright, he hasn't had a stroke just in that ward as he needs the type of rehab/physio that someone who has had a stroke would need. He's not happy to be in there but best place for him!

If I'm anything like my sister and few other members of the family I'll end up with a baby next week haha. Most of my family have given birth / waters broken by 35 weeks!

Lovely picture khtw I'm glad you're having a nice time

Jem I'm glad your fil is in the best place fingers crossed he recovers soon

Good day here, managed to get to mothercare for opening. I'd planned on going last weekend but I'm glad I didn't, my boobs have changed so much this last week. If I'd gone last weekend I'd probably have bought DD cup but due to the growth this week I've ended up buying Es. I really hope they don't end up bigger then that. I've had so many physical changes this week, you can also really tell baby is head down and low looking at my bump, lots of new stretch marks to. However I weighed myself today and my total weight gain is still only 2 stone which at this point I'm pretty happy with

Shep, I'm thrilled too. Thought I would really pack the weight on, but only gained 1st 4lbs as of Monday just gone so pleased with that.

Jem, I'm so glad it wasn't a mini stroke. It can be so hard to be around other people whose health is poor...can be a real reminder that it could easily be you so I'm not surprised he's not happy there. It can be a bit too close to home. Hope your little boy stays in the oven a bit longer, happy 34 weeks xx

I woke at 4.45, wide awake and starving.. So I ate some cold leftover pizza from last night. That's totally acceptable right?! Haha

Lol I love domino's cold pizza xD... If it's from just a normal takeaway I put it in the oven.
Thunder kept waking us last night, now have a massive headache, always do with storms something to do with pressure in the air :/ so gonna be a fun day.

Jem, perfectly acceptable, lol. Love cold pizza.

PB, that sounds horrid, my mum gets like it due to sinus issues and she's miserable with it :(

Baby was utterly horrid to me last night. Ended up sat on the edge of the sofa, Dan knelt in front of me with a cushion for his knees just to sit and hold me as I leant on him. Ended up whipping my top and bra off so he could scratch my back, then sway with me. I think baby has moved down as it's a very different feeling but the process of it moving almost made me sick for about two hours and was uncomfortable to the point of tears. Struggled getting into bed, struggled getting up for a wee at 3.30, needed a wee realy badly again when got up normal time. I've been able to go without night wees for ages but last night it was a painful need. Dan had to help me get up this morning, lol. It's definitely changed. I feel very different today.

Here's a bump pic. Our landlords were down yesterday and only saw them two weeks ago. They couldn't believe how much bigger I am, lol.
