Janeyjan I guess we will be the two still waiting when everyone has their wee bundles haha I'm so excited to hear more updates.
I'm gutted the links to PB's little Lucas didn't work for me Like both pics just showed an invalid link? which was weird. I'm dying to see his little face.
GG- 9 days omg that's so close. Sooo close between you and Shep as to who will be next to have their little one! Also we cant finally find out if you have a little girl or boy cuz tbh it's just selfish of you not to tell us jkjk

Saw midwife this morning and she said my spotting yesterday morning could have been my waters or hind waters.. But she didn't check me or anything which is a bit annoying! She just said if I get anymore then I should ring the maternity triage. Everything else fine and just gotta deal with the spd

GG so so close for you! Very exciting. I hate the not knowing of when baby is gonna come! I have absolutely no clue anymore, I thought I was close a couple weeks ago and now even with the spotting I've had I still think I've got ages!

Thanks girls! Imagine the doc gave me tablets and nasal spray and the pharmacyst pulled me aside and told me that since I am pregnant he would advice against using the nasal spray which is a steroid?!?!?! Wtf! I will take tablets but putting the spray away!

Morning girls caught up the best I can. Some of you have been busy lol
Had my midwife come out Sunday to do birth plan and checks etc. I've been booked in for a growth scan for static growth on Friday. I'm measuring between 35-36 now at pretty much 38 weeks. Was 36 at my 36 week. Will see how that works out but trying to not panic about it. Would have liked the scan a little earlier in the week. No signs of labour here either and baby is still 3/5 too I'm so over being pregnant
Shepherdess I really expected your baby to be here when I logged in! Happy 39 weeks I missed it xx
KHTW hope you feel better soon, the last thing you need right now! Fx antihistamines take the worst away xx

Shan why Friday, could they not do it quicker? Bit of a joke. I suppose as long as baby is active you can relax but I think they should squeeze you in sooner! I have mine on Thursday for opposite reason, will be interested to see where baby's head really is x

KHTW I was really expecting it on Tuesday or Wednesday but apparently they're busy They weren't even open at the weekend apparently. I wish they could do it earlier because I'm going to panic unnecessarily and second guess myself all week. I'll be almost 39 weeks so what's the point ffs if they think she's not grown since 36?! I hope your scan goes well, are you still hoping to try vaginal delivery first? xx
Isn't it funny how things change in pregnancy? Every time I'm going to the toilet im hoping to see some plug, some pink streaked discharge, or my waters going. It's funny how you spend the rest of pregnancy hoping not to see anything then 37 weeks comes and it's like come on!

That's what I was thinking Shan. But then again how would MW know she hasn't grown since 36 weeks? Belly measurement are rubbish so please don't stress x

My belly measurement is 44cm which is measuring about 44 weeks pregnant, fun times hahaha. But my growth scans are absolutely fine. Don't worry too much Shan, hopefully your scan will be reassuring and maybe may have just been laying funny making you measure less x

Hope the antihistamines work KH. So strange they prescribed a nasal spray if you can't take it. I asked my doctor here a while back about antihistamines for hayfever and she refused to give me any
I'm still needing baby to drop. Starting to feel like my lungs are gonna come out my throat! Heartburn is still bad as well. I can't wait for this to be done now. 36 weeks tomorrow.

I've had a good day here, lots of tidying done, farm paperwork done, bit annoyed at myself though, I've been trying to apply for 30h free childcare for dd in sept and thought id finally done it, all sent away only to realise I've got one bit of info wrong and ill have to ring them tomorrow. showered and shaved my legs while DD was at mums, husband came in for a cuppa and asked why I was showering in the middle of the day, it was my first solo shower in two weeks I worked out, dd is definitely clingy atm. ive told husband he'll have to shave my legs if baby is still in next week it was not comfortable.
stupidly tonight I had the remote but said to husband "did you want to watch the football?" so now that's on. looks like an early night for me. will do my perineum massage thou
so scary to think even if I went over and needed to be induced baby will be here within 2 weeks at the latest, I cant wait but I'm so scared

Shan, I was the same I was 39 weeks and I was induced the day before I was due due to the babies growth tailing off then today at 34 weeks they measure me and I’m measuring 32 weeks and have to go for a growth scan so may not be able to have my home birth! My LG arrived fine and on her due date so the day after I was induced and she was 6lb 9.5 on the smaller side but fine and healthy! Keep your chin up the measurements aren’t accurate especially if you have a different midwife measuring you! Although mine has been the same each time!! Xx

Aw Mexico I hope you do get your homebirth! I couldn't get my pool in time so I'll be at the midwife unit for a waterbirth. I was gutted, trying to get over it now though. Had the same midwife always except the last time. My actual midwife says thats why she has to refer me, because she has to trust the last midwifes measurement for 36 weeks was right. I'm trying to not worry about it as I know how unreliable they can be. Hard not to panic though. Do you know when your scan is? Xx
Shep two weeks! Doesn't seem that long we put our tests up. I'm very very anxious about birth this time, but at the same time I want it to start asap. Ahh. xx

They are calling me tomorrow re the scan but it will either be tomorrow or Wednesday I would imagine! I wanted a home birth with my first and that didn’t happen and now with this one it might not! Crazy!! The only positive about it is your get to see baby again but just annoying from our point of view when you plan things etc! I look forward to hearing it is all fine! Not long for you now anyway Shan! Good luck xx

Ah, so much to catch up on.
Shan, please please don't worry. If you remember, at 32 week, I was measuring 37 weeks. Now, exactly the same as you, I'm measuring 37 weeks despite being 38 weeks along with you on Wednesday. Midwife said it's perfectly normal as baby has engaged now so is just further down now. I know she's right, because I can breathe again. I have a hand width space between my ribs and the top of the bump now where before it was right up in my boobs. It stands to reason the measurement will be smaller...the head is down in the pelvis now where it wanted previous measurements.
Gutted they can't scan you til Friday but again, if they really were worried, I'm sure you'd know and they'd have got you in sooner.

Laura, yep...totally selfish keeping sex a secret, lol. In all honesty, now that we are so close to baby, I am desperate to know if it's a girl or boy, lol.
KH, don't be afraid to get a second opinion. Sounds a bit odd to me.
Jem, I mentioned my spotting as well and mw said it's actually really normal as so much extra pressure down there on all the blood vessels. She also said sex could make it happen and I know you had a bit of rumpy the other night so that could explain it. She did say it can come at any time now though so to keep checking and keep an eye on changes.
Shep, happy 39 weeks!!! Sooooo close. Chips are down Now, so come on... who's going to beat me, lol.
Forgotten who else I was going to mention. Lol
To summarise though, baby heartbeat is perfect and so strong the GP walking past knocked the door to check all was okay due to "loud noises" and laughed and high gives me at how loud and strong babies heart beat was, lol. Same GP who told me I might have a PE so I guess I'll forgive him for that now.
I asked her thoughts on Dan and I trying again straight away and doing a ON, lol. She basically said if I feel up for it, to go for it. She doesn't understand people having a problem with it and personally loves close babies. She also thinks it may help us we had the losses leading up to this one but if we start trying asap, my body is still in prime hormonal mode so should hopefully fall quickly and successfully.
So, may be back on here with a whole new group of ladies in a few months hahaaa
