*July 2018 Mummies*

Sat on the sofa hoping Dan can get some sleep. Heartburn has been horrendous again so am seriously kicking myself for being so smug that it disappeared recently. I took extra pillows in to keep myself up a bit tonight to help ease it. About 30 minutes ago though I had a rush of vomit/stomach bile race up into mouth and I had no idea my body was still capable of bolting upright like that. It keeps doing it, I feel like I'm going to be sick constantly but I don't feel nauseous at all....just this weird rush sticky type heartburn.

I think I managed about 1.5 hours sleep before the first rush, in between swinging gaviscon which is now all gone. It isn't even touching this though. I could honestly just sit here and cry my eyes out right now. I just want some ducking sleep. Even just 1 solid hour would be nice.

Sorry ladies, really not feeling the love today. Baby was so damn active yesterday as well I feel bruised pretty much all over my bump and my back is in agony. The bit between my shoulder blades...feels like the ribs are being torn away from the spine. Lower back ache I seem to cope with and my pelvic pain I'm just used to now but this upper back pain is horrible.

37 weeks today and I am going to be an absolute wreck by the time baby arrives if it carries on like this.

Scratch that...some just came up, pure stomach bile...this ain't Heartburn, it's acid reflux. Hateful, evil acid reflux. Give me fucking strength. :(

Happy 37 weeks Shanivy and GG

Sorry you've had such a rough night GG, reflux is the worst although thankfully I'm managing it better this pregnancy then I did last. Last time I was vomiting bile daily from 35 weeks

Sorry you've had a bad night to Jem

I think I thought something was starting last night, I had some bad pains and remember saying if I had another contraction I better get up and time them but I obviously went back to sleep and it amounted to nothing, oh well haha. I'm lucky I'm sleeping really well atm but I appreciate it I know it won't last

Off fruit picking with dd today and hopefully a long walk. It's our first wedding anniversary next week so I bought husband a special rose for the garden so want to get that potted today to

Ooh I must be tired didn't even realise. Happy 37 weeks GG, its official we're full term! Ugh acid relux is my problem too, Gaviscon just doesn't cut it these days either. Posting at 4.30am l see, aw I hope you're getting some sleep now hun! Xx

Sorry about the sleep girls. Same boat here. Fell asleep around half 12 finally last night and got up 8 times to pee. Wasn't even asleep 8 flipping hours! OH slept peacefully through it all and I wanted to punch him.

Shep lol definitely not labour if you fell asleep and forgot about it haha. You never know though, the next few days could be you. Could be your anniversary gift lol. Hope the weather is nice for you and dds little day together xx

Yeah, no sleep yet. I ended up driving to Asda at 5.15 because I couldn't make anything work to relieve the reflux. Have had loads of BH this morning too. They're definitely ramping up and I'm getting normal ones mixed in with the longer ones now so I'm kinda keeping an eye on everything else as well.

I can feel my eyes getting heavy now but I'm staying on the sofa now, too scared to lie in bed as I've knocked the edge off the reflux now and am petrified it will come back.

Shep, how the hell did you man age it for all that time?

Happy 37 weeks GG and Shan!!

Sorry you girls had shitty night sleep, I was the same thanks to DD having nightmares all night and also her eyes going all yellow with discharge :( This is going to be a long day x

Sorry so many of you had such shit nights. I didn't sleep much either with the heat and I've woken up with a sore head.

Ahh Shan and GG, 37 weeks! That's exciting.

Shep fruit picking sounds like a lovely day out.

Last night I finally got round to unboxing and taking tags off all the baby's clothes, bed sheets, towels, etc. for washing today. She has so much stuff already!

Love your travel cot unit KHTW. That looks really handy. We were gifted a travel cot by some friends but no changing unit on it haha.

Off to maternity triage at the hospital because of reduced movements. I've felt hardly anything since yesterday morning and that was only hiccups at 6pm last night and a few wriggles. Rang the hospital this morning and they want me to go in and get checked over. I'm sure as soon as he's all hooked up he'll dance like crazy lol but I feel mildly worried and its on my head if it is something and I do nothing! Do I take my hospital bags in the car just in case? X

No harm in having your bags in the car JemRose just in case. Hope all is okay for you

Hope dd is okay khtw and doesnt turn into conjuctivitus (spelling might be wrong there ha)

I've always been big on breastfeeding but I seem very keen atm, just been and spent a small fortune on ingredients to make lactation cookies. In the early weeks I ate so many cookies while feeding (just normal cookies so while I've never had a problem with milk production I figure I may as well try and make some healthier cookies this time

No harm at all in having your bags in the car Jem. Hope baby is okay and just being lazy. It is a worry and you're absolutely right to have gone in. Let us know how you get on.

I've managed a couple of hours kind of sleep this morning so attacking laundry and housework now.

KH, really hope dd's eyes are just sore and item of something developing.

Hope you're all okay.

I've already taken to wearing disposable maternity knickers. Thought I'd try a pair this morning and they are so damned comfy that's me sorted til my scarves healed over, lol.

Had some pains today again that I'd had a bit of last night so started to wonder. But apparently they aren't anything after all.

Jem how's things hun? I'm sure he's making an idiot out of you on the trace like they alway do lol xx

Shep well I'm googling lactation cookies now.xx

KHTW hope dd hasn't got anything, conjunctivitis going around here again at the minute. Her eyes any better now? Xx

GG you'll certainly not struggle with lack of sleep with the baby at this rate! Glad you got a little bit of sleep at least xx

Holy crap I'm an awful baker so just googled the premade mix for lactation cookies, one was £47! OH said he'll make them for me lol

Been on the monitor for nearly 2 hours, finally off to move around now but they may put me back on. They're not happy with his heart trace. There were quite a few dips and barely any accelerations so they said I absolutely did the right thing by coming in as his heart rate isn't really showing much. They've taken the trace to the doctor so just waiting to hear x

Fx for you hun, im sure everything will be okay. But at least you know you did the right thing trusting your instincts and getting him checked out. Let us know how it goes xx

Jem how are things?? X

Thanks girls, DD has conjunctivitis... Got cream that is nearly impossible to apply to toddler's eyes so just gonna keep them clean and apply cream to the best I can. DD is a star tho no complains at all x

Shan lol not surprised OH would rather bake them himself x

KHTW ffs hun. Oh well at least it's not bothering her too much. My doctor and chemist wouldn't give Ivy anything with her age  so just used cotton pads and cooled boiled water and it did the trick fine in no time. Mine was way way worse than hers, so fx it's the same with dd xx

They put him on the monitor again and he picked up movements and heart rate was a bit better. So they're happy to send me home but I've got to go back in for any instance of reduced movements and keep an eye on it as they're still not overly happy with his heart rate x

Did they tell you what his heart rate was? Good on you for going in, clearly you did the right thing. Glad his movements picked up though, hopefully he stays that way xx

Glad things picked up Jem. Just keep an eye out for any more reduced movement.

Aww KH, your poor little one. Fingers crossed she isn't too bad and gets better soon.
