But seriously, none of it will matter when you set eyes on him.

I had a horrendous labour & birth but once he was in my arms it was like it hadnt happened. There really is no other feeling like it x

Feel bit better had a cry some paracetamol and my mum ran out and got me some cool strips for my head now I'm sat by the fan with choccy , cool shower next

Yes, you're right SaraLouise...I was just so set on having him in a birthing centre rather than being induced in hospital..but I just want him here now, so am happy however he arrives. x

As Sara said hun you really won't know or care where you are!! I was desperate for a water birth and completely forgot to even ask for one!! I really hope something happens for you soon xxxx

Good Luck for your sweep Bbybump!! Hope it's successful.

I need to ring birthing centre to see if they want to do another sweep tomorrow. They did say yes last week, but nothing mentioned yesterday.

Eeek...induction in 2 days! Off shopping today to get some magazines, puzzle books and a new book to keep me occupied in hospital

I am a bit down today. Haven't slept for days because of the heat and keep getting irregular contraction on and off. I am 39 weeks today and feel sick (and down). It is already 28C in the house (warmer outside) and I feel like I have a horrible period. No real contractions now but just that annoying pain you can get at heavy days in a menstrual cycle. I keep losing pieces of the plug (what looks like oieces of jellyfish to me). Have been losing some for the last few weeks but now it is a lot more.

I have a midwife appointment in a bit over an hour and I am so not looking forward to go there. The idea of getting in the car in the heat, driving over (only 15 mins drive) makes me annoyed too.

Anyone else having a hard day?

Hugs to all well my baby is officially due but not here. It's ironic though I feel that when husband was away in Italy just over a month back I had mucus and bleeding and was crossing my legs worrying baby would arrive early..... Nothing since then and now here I am desperately trying t. GGet baby here natrually. I don't want to be induced I really don't but il do what's best for baby. Those who did that rain dance my goodness the rain and storms here!!!! It's quite pretty and theraputic though! I'm gunna go to the cinema cuz its cheap today and just enjoy a film as its something I doubt il get a chance to do for a while. Crazy weather not sure I can do a long walk in torrential rain and lightening tho.... :s x

I'm due today as well K8 but no flipping sign at all Going for another long walk in a min to try and get things moving. I really dn't want to be induced either cos I really want to use the birthing centre. Fx our babies will arrive sooner rather than later xx

I'm just back from midwife, she booked me in for a sweep next Thursday (day after my due date) and also booked me in for induction on 9 th August incasr I don't go before then, she said they should really let me go 12 days over but I was panicking because my little boy starts school on the 14th aug and 12 days over would've been the 12th August an there is no way I'm missing my sons first day at school lol anyway I feel really excited, obv I'm hoping I go well before the 9th aug but its just nice to have a date xx

Sweep done , god they had a good go today it hurts and I'm bleeding! Hope it works if not induction 27th ! So not to long now !!

2 days after me bbybump!!

You have to giggle at just how overdue we are hun....they will be little angels when they are out, as they have been such naughty inside.

Thanks Clairexx - the end is in sight. Phew...

Called the birthing centre and they want to see me tomorrow for normal antenatal checks and further sweep. The other two I have had have not been good.

1st one - cervix closed
2nd one - midwife managed to place to tip of her finger in.

I'm hoping Im going to be one of those who dilates quickly once induced.

Glad you also have a date xDenisex - always nice to have an end date in sight. Hopefully, you'll go before then, but at least you know when your little one will be making an appearance xxx
