***January 2017 mummies!*** 3rd Trimester

Wow Lisa later on this week? That's in a few days, today is Tuesday! Thank goodness you are safe with your family now and not in the other place.

And the other twin mommies are almost there too! Wow this is exciting, we are counting down the days! :)

It sounds like it's for the best that those babies come out, Lisa! It's awesome too that you were able to get to 30+ weeks first :D looking forward to finding out what you're having! Enjoy the last few days of rest, if you can get comfy at all xxx

Wee question.. does anyone else sometimes think they need a wee and then stand up and suddenly it's like everything's going to fall out your uterus and you realise that you DEFINITELY do need a wee. It's such a weird sensation.

Lisa good luck - we'll all be thinking of you!

Yes Laura definitely, or sometimes I'm desperate for a wee standing up and then when I sit down I don't need it anymore! Just all the pressure bearing down..

Yes I get that too! Also not got hemorrhoids but very sore underneath from getting hot and sticky, it's horrible! Must be due to the extra weight and overhang, nice! As if I'm constantly sitting around in a wet swimsuit. Sorry if TMI! Have been using baby powder to absorb the moisture but it doesn't last. So glad it's not summer!

Blueflower if it's getting sore and red try drying off completely maybe with talc if you really need to wiping that off then using a barrier cream like good ol' sudocrem

Laura I get that a lot, as in it's all so heavy and then you have to go to the loo

Lisa I know it's earlier than wanted but glad you have a plan and sounds better for you and bubbas and they will look after you all. My identical nephews were born at 32 weeks, spent 5 weeks in nicu & are perfect 9yr olds no concerns at all xxx

Does anyone else have constant lower back ache even when lying down? Also had cramp type pain which is constant at the bottom of the bump? I'm sure it's muscle/ligament as it's constant rather than intermittent and no tightening but still not comfortable x

Thanks girls. :-) Starting to feel rather excited, if scared too. Just so enormous to take in, they're going to be here soon. It's overwhelming, trying to take it on a little bit at a time.

Glad it isn't just me being weird, it's such a strange feeling! Have to waddle off pronto to the bathroom.

Blueflower, nice graphic description hahaha I'm getting that as well to some extent. Hemorrhoids have gotten a bit bigger and sorer and OH is convinced that I must go to the GP because otherwise they'll get really bad I'll need them surgically removed. He's such a hypochondriac! Pretty sure we can just get some over the counter cream for it. I've had them once before and they went away after a couple of days on their own so I'm def not dragging myself all the way to the GP.

FBTTN8079 no I don't have that problem when lying down generally speaking. Hmmm maybe one baby is lying back to back at the moment, I think that can cause the kind of pain that you are describing. Hope they shift a bit so you can get some relief xx

Look forward to kissing goodbye to nausea, heartburn, and all the other beautiful symptoms! Woohooo

Blueflower, I know what you mean! I can't remember what it's like to not have wet pants. A midwife actually asked if my water has broken. And the skin gets so irritated from the constant moisture. Eryinera probably has the right of it though, a good thick barrier cream I think will help.

Haha, I am, believe me. It's so weird that I won't be pregnant anymore. It's been the all defining trait of my existence for months and now I'm "getting out" two months early. I feel confused and relieved.

I think it may be the in laws bed and the weight of the babies, both are head down and think it's all just heavy around there, lol chunky monkeys. X

It must be very strange to take in but amazing you get to meet your little ones this week :-) just take one day at a time, look after yourself and you are all in best hands possible without all the stress of being here in the uk. X

That’s good yours are both head down Sarah, hope they stay that way!

Haha Blueflower! Love how honest we can be with strangers  I'm with you on the sore bum - I dry myself with the hairdryer after showers to make sure i'm 100% dry then just hope for the best! Tried to wear a thong the other week and my crack actually felt like it was on fire.. major chafing, had to go home just to change my pants!

Omg a thong Kate!! The horror! Hahah that was a bold move. I don't even like those when I'm not pregnant.

I am getting to the point where I'm struggling to reach to wipe after the loo. I wonder if that ever actually happens, like if you had really short arms and a massive bump...

Just about to waddle down slowly to boots and see if I can get some over the counter cream for my bum grapes. Wish me luck and a non-busy pharmacy counter!

Wet pants here too. It's hard enough changing undies daily, let alone having to do an extra change because of dampness

Definitely have that bladder thing lol! Nearly wet myself a few times.
I get that soreness under bump too, always thought it was just stretching maybe? Xx
