Hope Bunny is having baby cuddles.... Janet sorry its been slow but you're in active labour now. Yay!

I'll update everyone shortly. Think I have 3 or 4 babies to add to first page lol.

Obviously there is zero going on with me. Not a twinge or a dribble.....

Good k luck Janet xx aw hope baby gets a move on soon Nat xx

Sorry I don't mean to keep moaning lol.

I'm happy to wait. Just cant believe all these early babies. Makes me a smidge jealous.

I can't keep up with everyone in labour! Good luck to all of you and congratulations to those of you who have had your beautiful babies!

Since Tuesday night the cramps have come and gone. Nothing this morning. Suspect I've hot a while to wait still. Grrrrrr....

Just a quick update. Our lovely baby boy was born lastnight at 9:59 weighing 10lbs 14.6oz!!! Things got quite intense tward the end but all went well. Lovely home birth, I didn't even tear.

Hope things are going well for anyone else in labour. There seems to have been too much going on to keep up with the last couple of days.

Oh bunny big baby how did you find the delivery of him !??? Mines is going to be around the same
Size as we had growth scan two weeks ago and he was 9 pounds at that !! Partner and I
Both tall (5 ft 11 and he's 6ft 2) so they reckon big long baby !!!
Really happy to hear you didn't tear, I've been told by lots of health professionals that is a lot easier birthing a big baby so I hope this is true and not a lie to reassure me haha! Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so jealous. I'm 40 plus 1 now, come on baby xxx

It was more painful/intense than with my last labour but that could be more because it was quicker. Pushing seemed to be progressing quickly at first then nothing seemed to be happening for a bit. I'd been pushing for about 20 mins then. The MW thought his head was slightly stuck on my pelvic bone so we tried several different positions including the birth stool and hands and knees. Finally lying on my side seemed to do it and things moved along quickly after that. During crowning the MW gave me a lot of direction about when to push and not and I think that helped a lot with not tearing.

Congratulations Bunny-what a big boy!x

I've been for a dog walk with my Mum this morning to keep active but baby still too comfy obviously!!

Brilliant bunny!!!! I hope I'm as lucky as u with a midwife as helpful !!!!
I wonder if bigger babies means quicker labours?? We were all 9.5 pounders and above (me and my bros) and mum
Said she had all
Of us within the hour of her waters breaking lol xxx

Well done Bunny, my he is a biggun (I know you've been measuring quite big so it's not unexpected!!)

You did amazingly hun

X

Right front page updated, until the next batch of babies arrives.

We had two on 12th Jan, two on 13th and two on 14th!!!

Mostly early babies as well (some planned to be early - I know Jolly had a section scheduled) but quite a few spontaneous!

X

Wow bunny, are you secretly wonder woman? Congrats!!
I've got the midwife later but I'm happy for baby not to come today, ds is poorly with a temp of 39.2, shivering, just vomited everywhere and a headache. I think any other events would be too much to handle today!!
Huge congratulations to all the mummies and babies so far!

Good luck Sunflower and Janet.

Huge congrats Bunny. I think we had the same due date :) My midwife also gave me lots of instruction of when to push harder and when to hold off and I had no tears either. Made a huge difference as I had no instruction at all last time and they ended up giving me an episiotomy on a 6 lb baby!

Megs, hope DS is feeling better soon.

That's nice and symetrical Nat...we need 2 more today :D

Wow bunny amazing no tears!!! Congrats to the two newest mummies :-)))

Had postnatal mw appt earlier and just cried at her for an hour- day 3 baby blues definitely here with a vengeance!!!!! X

Hope wee man is better soon Meg.

My MW's were very bossy about pushing with James but they knew their stuff as I was tear / graze free and up having a wee quite quickly after.

Trying to get a lively toddler to nap so I can supervise OH building flat pack lol

I think I blocked out all the postnatal stuff Jolly.... but of course its totally normal.

Just hole up indoors and have a few days not doing much (and eat chocolate!)

X

Well I am just a feeding machine at the moment. One of my nipples is so sore as she is almost constantly on them. Milk has come in today thank god as it should make it bit easier, but I'm already not enjoying feeding. Just need to persevere for a bit longer as once I'm through this tough but it should get easier but Id be lying if I said it was fun!
