Still nothing much to report here am afraid 😦 Guess I'll have to be induced tomorrow after all. Thanks for messages of support re induction, it's good to hear 1st hand accounts of them going well ☺ Still have a fear, not so much of the induction itself but more that you're at a higher risk of needing assisted delivery and that has always scared me.

In bed now, going to watch some crappy tv to help us fall asleep - so not like us either.

Have just awoken 4:15am like I am on fire !!
Far far too hot, stomach heavy and rock hard with this wee brat. I just cannot cope. Officially due date xxx

I have been having cramps pains since 11pm, woke me from sleep at 1am and again at 3am. Been awake since but not convinced it really is the beginnings of something - seem to be getting more spaced out if anything.

Well girls I think I am in labour! I've been awake all night with fairly regular and strong BH like contractions but now they are starting to hurt properly. They are still fairly short and far apart so I wouldn't count on much happening in a hurry but it does seem like it is the real thing. I can't believe I'm going to be early! And I was the one counting on being overdue!

I don't think anyone that posts on here regularly hasn't got something going on at the moment.

Spallerina, could be the start of something? I'm pretty sure my cramping started really far apart. If they were waking you up that's a good sign?

If you do go overdue is there someone that can stay with you? / Family close by? I know your mum's health hasn't been great but what about MIL? Just so you have a bit of back up?

A life changing promotion has to be jumped at? I say this as someone who's OH is self employed in a dying trade and who is struggling to find an alternative job / career.

Hi Nat, I'm not due for another 2 weeks, so I'll be here for a while.... unless... they may want to induce me this Friday after one more scan on Thursday, as they found lowered blood flow from the placenta on Monday's scan

I'm not sure I'm ready for this now. The prospect of being induced is making me very anxious and I barely slept last night

Tricky situation Meg but I'd probably be inclined to agree with Nat if it's a life changing type deal. Not in your shoes though so can't give the best informed advice! x

Not an inkling of any action for me-date night at the spicy Malaysian on Saturday has been booked! I figure the more plans I make maybe the more the baby will want to come early to ruin them?! This is very much wishful thinking!! xx

Absolutely nothing from my wee one I'm afraid! The intensity of the tight bump has gone
I'm laid here in bed and he's kicking and rolling very very strongly every so often! I have wishes he'll kick so hard the waters will go and we'll be on the way haha. Hope everything's going great for everyone else, I am so jealous it's unreal !!!

Nothing here either!! I've said to oh this morning if there's any way he can go on the next training then to push for that, otherwise just go for it. He's already qualified for the job but needs to go through the companies training too.
My mum and dad are a mile and a half away, Mil and fil about 25 min drive. I know they'll be falling over themselves to help as much as they can, I just don't want OH to miss out on those precious early days.

Good idea Taboo, this wk DH and I had made loads of plans- date night, catch up with friends, cinemail and DH'S birthday meal & then my waters break on Mon!!

Great to hear about others having things happening too- hope your bodies keep going with it and don't have things stop like me!

Still nada happening naturally so about to start getting ready for the induction, wish me luck ladies, I've been in floods of tears with fear twice already x

I'm still having contractions. It is labour but hasn't progressed much. Contractions are about 6mins apart and painful but not that intense. The MW is going to be near the house in an hour or two so is going to pop in to check me. Last time labour was 38hrs and it doesn't seem to be going any faster this time so far.

Oh Megs, what a tough decision for you. Hopefully she'll come way before then so you can have some quality time together first.

Eek, hope it is things kicking off Spallerina. Hopefully the rest of you won't be much further behind. The last couple of weeks/days really are a killer aren't they :/

Bunny, hopefully the intensity will pick up a bit soon and things will get moving a bit quicker. How long have you been having the contractions for at the mo? I know when my midwife came out and examined me at home when I was down to 5.5 mins apart I was 5cm dilated and it went really quickly from there. Mine were quite painful but I managed on Tens at that point and they weren't hugely intense either so I was worried I would only be 1-2cm!

Have we heard back from Ronnie yet?
