***** January 2015 Mummy's *****

There's no way you're going to be January Hun- I have every confidence she'll be here :-) xxx

I'm just coming up to 37 weeks and as soon as I am, will be starting eviction processF. Finding it quite tough going now and so uncomfy all the time. Braxton hicks have gone through the roof in the last few days.

Glad everyone had a lovely Christmas :)

Hi:) I remember you of course :) Funny that we overlap again, when is your EDD? I think my lady might not want to be a 2014 baby.

I'm due 19th January. I think its fairly reasonable to expect that I really will be a January mummy this time. Though Feb 1st wouldn't be utterly impossible, lol!

19 th sounds good, DS2 was 6 days over but I am 40+4 today (according to the 12 week scan anyway). I was lucky with my first as he was early, I really hate the last weeks, such hard work

Hi ladies, just thought I'd pop over to say hello. My original EDD was 26th December, then it was changed to 23rd but I am still here so might end up being a January mummy instead. Hope all of you have a nice Christmas and enjoying holidays

Still plenty of time for her to get a wriggle on?

Number 3 may just pop out?

Although of course you are more than welcome.

X

Still can't get my head around the fact you are all reaching term (still another 9 days for me!) and all this talk about starting the eviction process! We are pretty much ready, well as ready as we are ever going to be, but when I try to imagine us being home with a baby within the next few weeks it just seems so unreal!

Really starting to struggle, it's like my body knows I've finished work now and has just crashed. Absolutely exhausted, back hurts all the time and BH are increasingly frequent and uncomfortable. I'm trying to work on the basis of expecting to go two weeks overdue, in the hope that'll make me less grumpy if he keeps me waiting, but the thought of being pregnant for another six weeks makes me want to cry!

ronnie - glad to hear bleeding has stopped, hope you stay well! x

spallerina - I thought you were originally thinking of a C-section, did you change your mind?

ceecee/others - what eviction process are you referring to, is there something specific you are doing to encourage baby to come out? xx

I finally have an assembled crib, a nursing pillow and OH ordered a cheap car seat today, so starting to feel close to being ready for baby now! :)

TC - definitely not me hoping for a section! I don't really have a birth plan though - just going to start with water/gas & air, and probably end up demanding an epidural after 15 minutes!

Full term today!!

We had a nightmare car journey back from visiting family last night in the snow-we got stuck at one point as road was blocked so had to turn round and go a different way. I was driving and I was having irrational thoughts of us being stuck out in the middle of nowhere and going into labour!!

My wee guy has tonsillitis again :( he's still waiting to have them out but I'd hoped he would stay well until then.

Eek, had a terrible night here. Didn't have any of my gaviscon and so struggled with acid the whole night. Had to sleep bolt upright on settee downstairs and it was just awful.

Then this morning I was sick and had bad poo, and I found a bit of what looked like plug in my pjs, although none on loo roll.

Having never gone through labour with my son does this sound promising? I don't mean for today, but just like things are moving in that direction? I so want to avoid c section so I warn you I may be spending the next 2 weeks symptom spotting again in memory of TTC!!!! X

Oh jolly that sounds like the pre labour clear out!! I only had this when I was induced. Does sound promising!

Oh wow!!!! I know it might be a while but it's exciting to know there's at least a possibility- we're out for a long walk (along with the rest of the world). Was going to go with curry and pineapple for dinner but I tried that with Freddie and it did nothing but make me feel ill so fish and chips it is!!!! X

Poor little man Meg. He'll be sorted soon enough though I'm sure.

Jolly you've said all along you reckon you'll have baby early so maybe mothers intuition is right? Out of interest I never had any kind of clear out before labour. Was sick twice whilst I was in birthing centre as I hit the G&A a bit too hard.

Bloody laptop has finally died on me. I guess if I have to buy a new one now is the time?

Just had bil, sil, their 3 kids, mil and other sil round. Am on the sofa now.

MW tomorrow evening. Annoying time as well as my hospital never run to time even if you have an early appointment. Bet I'm waiting forever. Growth scan a week tomorrow and last day at work a week on Tues.

X

Jolly, I had a clear out the morning I went into labour and spent the rest of the day losing small bits of plug. Hadn't given it much thought at the times I was only 37 weeks, but my waters went about 11.30pm that night...followed by my son being born at 8.50am the following morning. Some women can have a clear out several days before labour though and lose bits of plus for ages so hard to know whether it's gearing up or not.

We're back from my parents house and relieved to be home without having gone into labour. My braxton hicks are through the roof though so not overly comfortable. Have that constant feeling at the moment that I need a wee and have a full bladder, and could literally go every 15 mins, only to do the tiniest dribble every time. Driving me mad!

That's the thing ceecee- I don't have that low pressure as much anymore- it was so bad before which is why I felt like she would drop out anytime. But now I just feel the other things like the clear out and the horrendous Braxton hicks. Last nights were so uncomfortable and she was also thrashing about in there.

I hate this guessing game!!!!

Fish and chips for us tonight, very excited as haven't had it for ages :-)

I've just Googled fetal hiccups and got a whole load of info I wasn't expecting! It's entirely normal for baby to have hiccups a few times a day isn't it? I never noticed it at all with ds but this little one seems to get them a lot, bouts of 3-4 minutes at a time.

James had them loads Meg towards the end. Several times a day for ages at a time (I have to confess to not liking the feeling of them)

X

Freddie had them a lot too- I don't feel them very often with Tinkerbell but that might be to do with the anterior placenta x
