Sorry to hear so many of you are struggling, Here's hoping for a pain free/restful/as comfortable as possible week ahead!
Agree with the "no silly questions" thing - there are so many ridiculous things I lay awake worrying about so always good to get advice from experienced mums!
My friends threw a baby shower for us yesterday - not really sure how I feel about baby showers but I agreed to it on the basis that no one felt they had to bring us a gift, and that it was mostly an excuse to catch up with friends and eat a LOT of cake! We ended up having such a lovely day, a lot of laughing, slightly traumatised by a cake made by some of my friends (decorated with a babiy's head emerging from a very messy foof.... not sure whether the photo is too awful to share here!) and actually we were so spoilt with lovely things for our boy, my brother and his wife had spent hours knitting/crocheting and decorating a little drawer unit all with Doctor Who/Star Wars/superhero theme which is what we love. Was really quite emotional!
Otherwise I am struggling though. Like all of us by the sounds of it I am so tired, getting anything done feels like an absolute mission. Had to clean the house properly before people came round yesterday and it nearly floored me - hubby has been ill with labyrinthitis so wasn't much help unfortunately. Got a bigger birthing ball which the physio recommended for my back and at least I can now sit comfortably on that - definitely recommend it for anyone with back pain.
18 working days to go....
