***** January 2015 Mummy's *****

that's a fine bump there, Jolly! do you have people asking if it's due in a couple of weeks? :)

I didn't hear my alarm this morning so missed the 5 minute window of opportunity to book a GP appointment after all that. :)

Haha! I think it's pretty low? I swear she's coming early!! No one says I look huge though, but with my first they always said it! So I have no idea??

Shame about the gp- it's always a mad rush at 8.30am to get through to the docs, so will you wait for midwife appt now?x

Tri hopping here ceecee just wanted to say my 2 daughters are 15 months apart they are 14 and 13 now eldest will turn 15 in dec ... They are close and were often mistaken for twins growing up lol.. You'll be ok I'm sure of it.. I just gave birth to my 3rd 5 days ago :) huge gap but im in love and wouldn't have it any other way :)
Jolly your boy is adorable :)

Thanks Makeme, I feel better for reading that :)

Jolly, I love your bump. I need to post another bump pic up...been a while.

I'm on iron tablets for anaemia and I hate them. They make me really constipated and just add to my general uncomfortableness

Well I think you mentioned baby was partially engaged a week or so ago, so it could be an early baby... :)

Yeah I'll wait for Tuesday, especially as work want me to come into the office on Monday to start handing over my daily duties to someone else, which will make my life easier for the last 8 days!

On a side note, OH still can't understand why I don't want to walk 2km to go to Wagamamas for his birthday. I only wish I could!

Hey & welcome, Butterfl! I commented elsewhere but I think you have an amazing story. When's your baby's due date? (or is it hard to tell being so far along?)

I'm on iron tablets for anaemia and I hate them. They make me really constipated and just add to my general uncomfortableness

Ergh, constipation is so nasty, you have my sympathies. The only partial remedy I found was rediscovering Weetabix. I remember when I had to take iron supplements before, (TMI) it turned my poo black! That was a shock the first time I noticed!! :D

Anyone looking to buy baby stuff in the Black Friday/weekend sales? xx

2km of walking, you must be joking tinselcat :-) I struggle getting around Tesco lol x

I'm trying hard not to be miffed at oh at the moment. I spent days trying to clear stuff from the spare room and only had a few things left in the corner that are a little a heavy so I asked him to try and fit them in the cupboard under the stairs.

That was months ago and now he's saying that he's not even going to try as there is no room (it's a small cupboard but there's definitely some room) - but not only this but he's dumped a load of crap in the doorway of the spare room - I can't even get into it! He's working tomorrow so I'm just going to do as much of it myself as I can do safely, because if I try do it while he's here, he'll get annoyed with me and start doing the 'leave that, I'll do it'. Oh really? When? Grrrh, if you want a job doing properly you may as well do it your blinking self!

Oh chicken. That sounds awful. My other half has been really good despite what he's going through. We spent today building cot and baby's wardrobe. Started to pack my bag. Chest of drawers and baby's bag tomorrow. I'm scared I'm doing things too early then I remember it's only 6 1/2 weeks till due date. Scary!!

Lol Tinsel, it does turn your poo black...gross really!

Ah Chicken, that would do my head in. I'd be like you and do as much as I could...partly because I'd want it sorting and partly to prove a point to my OH haha.

I've finally packed my hospital bag. Feels a bit surreal knowing it's there all ready to go. Just need to find where I saved my old birth plan on the computer and check whether it needs updating (doubt it as I only gave birth 13 months ago!) so I can get it printed off. I used the midwife-led unit last time and they were awesome at checking the plan and respecting all my wishes on it. Thankfully everything was plain sailing so hoping for similar this time.

This time last pregnancy I felt pretty good and probably would have been okay with 2km but this time I struggle to get changed to go out some days. The anemia really takes it out of you. I am trying to walk a little more because I actually find it helps me feel better and is good for my bp but 2km is a lot! And once I've had my walk I spend 2hrs laying down!

Thanks guys, sorry for the rant, I'm trying to be as level headed at home as possible but apparently I've been really grumpy :-(

I hear you with the constipation, I'm buying prune juice regularly now

Well done on getting the hospital bag packed Ceecee! That must be nice knowing you're all ready. I'm hoping to do mine on Monday after washing all the bits

Chicken, I'd be pretty miffed with my OH if he did that too. There's no excuse! (sounds like laziness to me ;) ) And as for grumpy, well you're entitled to be! Please be careful if you try moving things yourself though! xx

Bunny - that's interesting to know. I'm a little tired of hearing how rubbish I am compared to other pregnant women.

Ceecee - nice work on the hospital bag. Must be a relief to have it out of the way.

Mrs_W - having baby furniture assembled sounds nice :) something to be pleased to get done sooner rather than later!

Have woken up with rib pain feeling sick. I hate night-time right now, it seems to go on forever!

Hi hun an congrats, I didn't smoke with my 1st and 2nd and I had problems with both pregnancies i smoked with my 3rd and 4th and i had no problems babies were just a bit small, I have smoked during this pregnancy too and have had no problems they say baby is doing great and is a healthy size I wouldn't worry too much about it, I bet u were shocked to find out u were so far gone I was 22weeks when I found out I was pregnant with my 1st, just try and enjoy the next 8 weeks hunni.

Well I only have 15 days left till I finally get to meet my little one can't believe how fast it has gone into have a scan on wed then have to have steroid injections on the 9th and 10th then my pre op on 12th am a little nervous but so excited

Another January mummy having a baby in December Sattie - are you having a caesarean? So exciting

I'm hoping to find out tomorrow an estimation of when my induction's going to be - my money's on sometime between the 12th (36wks) and 19th (37wks)

Tinsel, really sympathise about night time. Keep waking up to pee then when I try to get up it seems I have a whole baby in my rib cage. Always on the right side. Then try to fight my way out of my bed past the maternity pillow. I am hating it!

Morning ladies.

Have to confess I'm in a foul mood at the moment. In fact I seem to be in a constant bad mood. I'm sure having rubbish sleep every night doesn't help but I have no patience for OH and I'm worryingly snapping at my LO as well. Snapping at James is making me feel guilty and sad.

I'm sure its just pregnancy hormones etc but I feel so crap.

Its been a tough few weeks though so I need to give myself a bit of a break?

Absolutely you should give yourself a break Carnat, I can't imagine how much tougher pregnancy is with a toddler :hugs:

I must admit I don't sleep either, I can't get comfy, my back and shoulders get sore feels like they are on fire, and my hips and legs feel like somebody has taken a hamar to them haha! But this seems to be getting worse, so I can only assume this if just late pregnancy and extra pressure. Not Long now, but feels like I havnt had a decent sleep in months, between pain and peeing haha. Xxx

Ive put on 20lbs. But I was a good 2st overweight to begin with (well I was 2st heavier at this booking appt than I was with James. I was a size 8-10 with James. Sigh...)

X
