***** January 2015 Mummy's *****

My V-day today, yaay! Nice milestone to reach.

I read recently that ladies who suffer from Bells Palsy during pregnancy do not see any recovery until after birth. So I'll just have to see it as part of my pregnancy and hope for the best after January.

Hope all is well with you ladies.

Has anyone signed up for mothercare evening thingy? I'm planning on going tonight it's from 6 til half 8, I'm not going to get taken in by them trying to sell me stuff I don't necessarily need but they are giving 10% discount if you go so hoping to order pram tonight!! Also my ribs ache you know that feeling when you have has a bad cough it's exactly like that, can anyone else relate ? Xx

I feel achey all over, and defiantly feeling it under the ribs now. Think baby is just growing plenty and squashing my insides, I don't have a big bump so I sometimes think that doesn't help as there doesn't seem to be much room in there. X

I have also started getting braxton hick this last few days, which is strange. Any of the previous mummy's know, Is it usual for them to happen quite often?
I am at my last day of work now before my holiday, and I am really feeling like I am needing it now, seem to be suffering from nausea and tiredness again, I hope it's just because I need a break and not how it's going to be for the rest of the pregnancy. Anybody else know when the tiredness hits again?

Hope everyone is well :) xx

I don't know about the Braxton hicks kiwi, but my tiredness has hit me big time for the last week or so I can't shake the feeling off its constant at the moment x

I know I seem to be tired no matter how much sleep I get.

Got my 28 week appointment tomorrow too, so whooping cough jab and bloods again I think. But still looking forward to going as always find It reassuring to see the midwives :) xx

I had braxton hicks regularly with my son from about 20 weeks onwards. Would get them several times a day, usually for about 10 mins at a time (maybe 4-5 bh in that time frame). Sometimes I would have tons at once and then none for the rest of the day. No real pattern.

I am just starting to get them again now properly from about 24 weeks, although have had the odd one or two since 20 weeks really. Not as regular as before yet though

Eek tri 3 now its going so fast this time. Im super excited to meet our little girl but i also want it to slow down a little so I have more time with just my son. Hope everyone is doing well :-)

Well I can def tell that tri 3 is nigh as I am struggling so much more now.

Bump feels like it weighs a tonne, I am not sleeping and I generally just "feel" so much more pregnant suddenly.

X

Me too carnat, I wake up so often with pains in my legs like burning thighs and rolling over seems a task !! Had a call from a lovely midwife today from the hospital I'm changing to as I'm moving to say my referral has been accepted so as of november I will be under a new hosp glad it's getting sorted, got my 28wk app next week too x

Well that's me just back from the midwives, my 28 week appointment went okay, measuring good and on track, blood pressure is up a wee bit and got my whooping cough jab and bloods done.
Am feeling quite crappy today, still having problems with uti's but they have sent away another sample to get tested just to keep a check on it. Oh the joys of pregnancy :) but we are on the countdown ladies :) xx

Great thread! I'm not actually sure when I can come over here though! I'm 25+2 so when do I join??

I'm not too sure of my baby's due date - I'll be 40 weeks on 21st January but im due to be induced a week early (my little baby boy has a rare heart condition 😞) so I'm extremely nervous about the whole thing (he'll need open heart surgery soon after birth..) I could certainly use all your support around the due date! I guess I'll put in for 14th jan as due date (although this will need to be confirmed)..

Hope it's ok to join in!

Welcome Jan :) I think it's 27 weeks tri 3 starts, but anyone welcome here :)
Sorry to hear of your baby's problems, I hope everything works out for you! The January girl are all lovely and very supportive.
My baby also has to have an operation when born due to kidney problems detected at 20 week scan, so I can sympathise with worrying about the whole ordeal. Is this your first Jan? Xx

You are due the day after me hun!

I do recall reading your thread about your boy a while back, it must be terrifying but the dr's and midwives who care for babies like your little man will do everything possible to get you all through this. They know their stuff and you will be in the best hands.

I'll add you to first page! Tri 3 is officially 27 weeks but I think we all kind of flit between when we get so close to "moving over"

X

Hello everyone :) sorry to hear your babies are having problems it's so sad to hear :( I'm sure everything will be fine in the end xx

I'm heavy.. In pain and just so tired now.. I was worrying about baby moving too much like it was struggling, (I'm a huge worrier) and had my HD live scan to see the cord wrapped tightly round it's neck :( I've got mw next week so I'll be bringing it up then. I know there's a lot of room left and they can wriggle in and out of it all the time but I'm really worried.. It was a massive shock seeing it pop up like that on the screen.. Jaycee was born with the cord round her neck and although they cut it before she was fully delivered she needed help to start breathing and was cold so needed the heaters on her for hours.. A girl I know from school lost her baby during birth due to them allowing her to keep pushing without cutting the cord first.. Really quite worried..

Kiwi it's my third.. So my other two (age 4 and 1) are keeping me busy! How about you? What is your little one's kidney problems? Poor thing.. Hope he's ok? My little one also has dilated kidneys but so far they just say he will need antibiotics to treat it (thankfully as I think he'll have enough on his plate!)

Carnat thanks for adding me - I remember you too you were very supportive! So thank you xx

I keep getting leg cramp in the middle of the night and it's agony. I love 3rd tri as it's the final push, but don't like the aches and pains that go with it!

I'm a lot bigger earlier this time too, so feeling everything a lot earlier than last time.

To you ladies who already have children. What do Braxton hicks feel like. Every now and again around near the waistband of my trousers under my bump I get a really tight pressure sensation. Could this be it?

How was the mothercare evening? I was supposed to go on Thursday, but felt so tired I just went home instead - would have taken 45 mins to get there too so it seemed too much like an ordeal

I have no idea how women cope with pregnancy and looking after children at the same time. I suppose you just do what you have to do, but just going to work feels like a big effort atm
