***Jan & Feb Mummy and Baby***

We are also doing blw and it really varies how much she eats day to day but I don't feel like it's very much. Most of what I give her ends up on the floor.

I'm setting up an online shop selling maternity and breastfeeding clothes. It's a bit of a risk but something I really wanted to do as I really struggled finding stuff for myself which was my main inspiration! If anyone is interested my Facebook page is www.facebook.com/milkwearfashion and my website is being launched tonight eeeek! Www.milkwear.co.uk xx

Good luck with the website launch mrs johnson! There's a nice top I can see on your facebook page, I will look out for it on the website :)

I had a difficult time finding nice nursing wear. Are you going to open an ebay portal too? (that was how I found quite a bit of stuff in the end.. and on amazon).

I also read an interesting article lately about how to do a good press release - it's here if you're interested: http://personalexcellence.co/blog/media/

I too really struggled with breast feeding clothes. In fact I think I started a thread here....

Best of luck with it all.

My wee Bee has been poorly on and off weeks now. She had a cold and a temperature for a few days at the start if the month, then James got ill for a week (cough and cold) but Bee was relatively ok, then she got a bloody cough and yesterday was throwing up.... she is a sicky baby but this was exorcist style!!

The cough has mainly affected her sleep - she has been happy and active and normal so I haven't been to the Dr yet but going to take her tomorrow as cough isn't improving.

Oh and I am ill now as well.

X

Thanks Tinselcat that's really helpful, I'm totally new to it all but my husband has a bit of experience of running a business so hopefully together we can make it work.

Sorry to hear your Lo isn't well Nat, hope the dr can help xx

Hi all!

Congratulations Bunny!

We are good-Rafferty is 8.5 months now and got his first tooth last week!He has coped ok,was just very snotty & dribbly for a few days. He was 18lb 12oz two weeks ago so following his 50th percentile line perfectly! He is wearing a mix of 6-9 & 9-12 clothes. He is close to crawling-getting onto all fours and rocking but he is a little monkey for wanting to walk holding your hands ALL the time!!!
I went back to work 3 weeks ago and got through all my tests so I am back going on fire calls now & actually really enjoying being back! We are very lucky that as OH works shifts too we are doing the childcare between us and he goes to one Grandma for one night and day a week.
Can't believe what stage we are at now-time has flown by and we will be nearing having 1 year olds!!

Lovely to hear everyone's news x

Hi all! Not been on here since Chloe was tiny, how is everyone? Can't believe we're nearly at Christmas! I'm going back to work in three weeks and CANT WAIT :). Ive started taking chlo to nursery and she seems to love the ladies there and flirts with the boys lol. She hasn't shed a tear when I go... so proud :). Nice to hear raffertys doing well katy! Has anyone else gone back to work yet? X

Hey ladies,

I'm not back to work until January (11th but I've asked for 2 weeks annual leave to take me to 25th). So glad I dragged myself in for those few extra weeks as I have Xmas and New Year off. Yay.

Not looking forward to going back but needs must.

Bee has 3 teeth!! From nowhere. I noticed them an hour ago.... her 2 fangs (weird as they usually come in 3rd) and a bottom tooth. Fangs are actually poking through but I didnt notice as I wasn't looking "up". She is well prepared for Halloween with her wee vampire teeth lol. Bottom tooth is almost through.

She is doing amazingly but she doesn't sleep in the day. It makes for a long day with an 8 month old and almost 3 year old and no respite of naps. My house is a tip.

Bee is commando crawling like a pro, baby gates have been closed for a good few week now. She is also pulling herself up on lower furniture.

Eating is fab, she still bf but will try anything food wise. She loves fruit - apple, pear, melon.... and bread!! We BLW and she has taken to it so well. So much so it's even encouraging my fussy toddler to be a bit more adventurous. I barely notice that she isn't having dairy. She has everything else.

I haven't had her weighed for a while but she has long legs and will need the next size up soon.

Starting to get organised for Xmas. So excited but dread to think what she will do to my tree.

Hope everyone is well?

X

Nice to hear Chloe is doing well Jazz.

Carnat- My younger sister got her fangs first. It looked really funny, lol. A little startling when she gave a big grin! Tomas has 6 teeth for a while now but no sign of any new ones, maybe we will get a break from teething for a while. He doesnt eat dairy either and as you say I hardly notice. We joke that he is a garbage disposal because he will eat anything. I acctually need to try dairy on him but haven't worked up the courage yet.

Chloes got 6 teeth too bunny! Shes eating everything but only mush (I didn't have the guts to do blw). We have another on the way now!!

Wow congrats jazz!

We still only have the two bottoms, the tops having been giving him a lot of grief for a while now. No signs of crawling, but loves standing and is sitting up on his own and playing.

Food wise, we are doing a combinations of the both and he Loves yogurt! And is just trying everything and loving it.

Congratulations Jazz! Glad I'm not the only January mum expecting again! When are you due? I'm due june 8th.

8th of may! I think theres a few of us actually! Yeah I saw you comment on a post bunny and remembered youfrom here :) x

Haha! It wasn't intentional ;). Roll on Christmas!! First one with babies :) x

Ours was kind of planned. It was a bit sooner than we were thinking but we were too lazy to go back on birth control and kind of assumed it would take a bit longer to get pregnant while I was still breastfeeding...oops

Thats exactly what we thought!! Didn't even have a chance to have a period lol! X

You ladies are scaring me!! I haven't had a period yet and we've not been using protection (to be fair we've had sex like 3 times in as many months!!).. I have opk'd around the time of sex and no lines? So I should be ok right?

I'm not as adverse to number 3 as I was... although my OH wouldn't be pleased.

X

My first sign was when I was sick! Weve hardly had sex too as I had a third degree tear and between letting things settle down and being knackered im just never in the mood :( x
