***Jan & Feb Mummy and Baby***

Aww happy birthday Harry! Glad you've had a lovely day Becky! How much does Finley weigh now?
Nat adorable picture of Bee she is so cute! She must have rolled or shuffled her legs to get there maybe! Just shows its not Safe to leave them on the sofa etc.
No movement from Imogen yet but she's only 10w. We managed to get her down for bed at 8pm this evening, amazing saying she used to scream until 10 or 11.

Nat - wow, what a wriggler Bee must be - I guess she rolled there?! Good thing you change her on the floor!

Becky - aw, cute boys! Happy birthday to little Harry (what a lovely mop of blonde hair he has!)

OMG - good luck with the diet & exercise! I am starting a health kick this week too, there's only so long you can go on feeling slovenly isn't there!

I reckon my 15 week old has 1 or 2 weeks left in his 0-3 month sleepsuits - am desperately trying to make sure I get him to wear all the (clothing) presents he was given!

It's amazing how much they can move just from wriggling about. Clever Bee :)

Loving all the pics today. I really need to upload a new one of Freya. She's changed so much.

I'm back on the diet and exercise again today. Hate it but needs must. Need to be able to fit back into my summer clothes by the time summer arrives so I don't have to buy any new stuff. Think 7lbs would do it, but want to lose 14lbs to get back to pre-pregnancy weight. It's hard because breastfeeding makes me hungry and I end up craving sugary things so bad!

Thanks for the swimming advice Taboo. I cant wait to get jessica in the pool, she loves bathtime so im hoping she will be the same with swimming. Hope caleb enjoys his lessons if/when you start them.

Bees certainly a little mover! We aren't quite at that stage yet but im sure it wont be long.

Ceecee breastfeeding makes me so hungry aswel, im not sure how im ever supposed to loose weight because all i want to do is eat! I actually walk quite alot so hopefully that will help.

Having a lazy day today, think its well deserved and needed as we have been really busy recently! Xx

Happy Birthday Harry xx gorgeous pics xx love where Bee ended up xx Oisín is just like that moved in seconds!!

Loving all the pics!

Diet actually went quite well today, exercise didn't as I had to take car to garage instead...that's gonna hurt!

Gabriella is still awake, and is usually at this time. She seems to go down when I do. I need to go to bed earlier!

Lovely to see all the pics, the babies are growing so fast now.

Alfie had his first lot of injections yesterday and was a superstar! He hardly cried and when I picked him up he settled just fine, he's such a chilled chappy. Last night for the first time in about 6 weeks he woke up for a feed at 3 and then was up at 6.45 (usual time) and didn't settle in bed until 11 instead of 10, I'm guessing this Is down to his trauma yesterday and just feeling a little under the weather. He went back down at 7.30 and had another 3 hours.

I am looking at getting a sling/carrier so I can walk my dog and do bits without carting the pushchair everywhere! We are off to a machinery sale on Saturday and it'd be so much easier to wear him. Can anyone recommend? I've spoken to a friend who has a few she's tried, and said at this age a stretchy wrap is better for him. I don't want something that will cost the earth.

Well done on your diet day OMG :-)

Toni - glad to hear your little one was not phased by the injections. I've no experience of slings tho.

Had weigh in today at 15w 3d, now 11 lb 15 so starting to jump up the percentiles, that's probably around 6 now (we started at 0.4) xx

Toni - I use the hug-a-bub stretchy wrap and is a God send. Not sure if they sell it in the UK. It's a little on the pricey side (may be around 40 quid if I convert what I paid for it here in Singapore). It's super safe, quite easy to use once you've had a few goes, and baby loves to be snugly and close to mummy. For my LO it sends him to sleep in no time. The amount of house chores and shopping I've managed to do whilst wearing it!!

The only down side is that it can get quite hot between the baby and your own body heat. It's ok for cool weather or aircon places, but not when it's hot outside.

I'm also looking for advice on slings or carriers that allow you to breastfeed too. You can with the hug-a-bub but it's a bit awkward.

Toni.C do you have a sling library near you? We went and tried some things out as we were leant two carriers/slings that we didn't get on with. I ended up getting a Beco Gemini soft structured carrier and a BB Slen woven wrap. I am totally in love with the Gemini and use it lots. We were leant a Moby wrap (one of the stretchy wraps) by a friend who loved it when her boy was little. I didn't get on with it at all though as I found the stretch made it feel like it was never tight enough (something the woven wrap overcomes). It is all down to personal taste in the end a d the best was to avoid wasting money is to try stuff out. Can you borrow one from anyone? Do try seeing if there is a sling library or any sling meets in your area (trying googling and on Facebook). If you want an idea of the range of things available the South London Sling Library has a great website which talks you through the different sorts of carriers available and what they're good for as well as listing descriptions of some of the brands they hold. It might give you some ideas at least.

I love our boba wrap. The only problem is finding a time I can wash it because I never want to be without it for that long :).

I have chosen the close parent caboo which will turn up tomorrow. Liked the idea of a wrap but just felt this offered a bit more stability. Looking forward to trying it our properly!

2nd lot of jabs done. Poor wee bubs. Couldn't get an appointment in the baby clinic though so I have no idea how much Bee weighs. The clinic only runs 2 hours a week so I've just booked an appt with HV after next jabs in May. I can tell she is gaining weight and growing nicely.

Fell down the last few stairs in my house earlier (ironically on the way to the Dr's) and have sprained my ankle. I'm In absolute agony!!! Luckily I wasn't holding the baby.

jolly can you add my baby :)

my son was born december 30th, 2985gr and 45cm :)
but I was due january 25th =)

Congrats napoli! Glad you are able to catch up with us :-)

Carnat - your poor ankle, hope you aren't in too much pain. Falling down the stairs while holding the baby is one of my current bad fears! Glad that no little one was involved xx

Shame you couldn't get Bee weighed, where I am now you just rock up to any old clinic but I remember in London we were supposed to pre-book where I was. Hope she's not too upset from the injections xx

I love my Kozy Carry but am looking for a carrier/sling/wrap i can feed in too.

Gabriella seems to have a cold :-( doesn't seem to be bothering her too much at the moment...hope that carries on as I am exhausted!

I've booked her in for her jabs on Friday.

Diet went pretty well today, apart from a little ice cream. But it's all gone now...I chucked the rest.

Congrats Napoli xx

Aw Carnat hope your ankle is better soon xx I don't have stairs thankfully but I'm petrified of tripping with Oisín so don't carry him too far or very slowly as I have cp but never let it stop me being a normal mummy xx

We have 30 internal stairs (they are a bitch to hoover lol) and I'm always careful when holding baby. Was in a rush to get to dr's and missed the last step and landed awkwardly.

Feeling better today and currently in my trainers whilst doing some chores. Not going to go out today as I need to rest ankle... someone tell my toddler and baby mummy needs to rest!!!

Sorry to be nosy, what is CP?

Doh..... of course!!!

Wow I had no idea hun. As you say its obviously not held you back at all.

Here's me moaning about my ankle!!!
