Got dr tomorrow...I should think it'll be last appt before op day! The bugger being he's gonna ask me for money, damnit! Stupid health insurance won't pay out...bas*ards!

Sorry to hear your back in Nici. .. hopefully if the tongue tie is cut then his weight will go up quickly!?

Well that's a postive story about waters thanks Flick.... thing is even if they are leaking they can't be leaking that much if im not noticing it... hopefully like you SIL. They haven't been low normally as they haven't mentioned it before today and I've had scans every week since 32 weeks...... pregnancy is a minefield lol.

I guess ppl miss what they can't have... I'm sure if I was in the waiting game I'd be hating it lol.

The waiting game is horrible, going out is scary as I may go anytime, I keep thinking how embarrassing it would be if my waters went when I was on the bus alone!

I hope they manage to sort out the tongue tie quickly, bless.

I know what you mean about missing what you can't have but as long as baby is happy and healthy when he arrives, it'll be all that matters

Ive had braxton hicks every 10 mins for the past 2 hours now. They started whilst in the bath.. Along with back ache and a very wriggly baby! I wish there was a green light to say yep this is it now or red to say nope, chill out, keep ya panties on - just teasin' ya! *sigh* fingers crossed eh..

Flick I had bad pain and a twingey almost period painy tummy on the way home from OHs mums, coming on for about 5 minutes and then going for 5. Got home and turned out I just needed the toilet baby has also been kicking the hell out of me today and making my tummy pull some very strange shapes, it's quite funny to watchable as I'm sure he's doing the YMCA!

The waiting and not knowing when is making me anxious, I don't like sleeping at night for some strange reason now.

I put nice clean sheets on the bed and new pillows on today so it's sooo comfortable but I'm struggling to relax tonight. Every ache I get I think ooooh is this it and then nothing happens.

It doesn't help the bloody dog keeps getting up and scratching or fidgeting at the end of the bed!

Well they're painless but very tight, back pain comes and goes at the same time and the baby reacts to each one by pushing down incredibly hard!
It's only because they don't hurt that I'm not thinking much of them. Also, I really don't wanna get my hopes up!

Toni, im really hoping all the signs lead to somewhere for you. Even if it was just a poo this time Getting closer!
You're brave changing your sheets - what if your waters go? Last of your worries haha I'm holding out til after baby just incase - they went in bed last time! Yummy...
I wonder if the dog senses something? Wouldn't it be strange ooohhhh

All my pain was in my back to begin with first time round!
I totally get where you're coming from though.

I'm on my second week of maternity leave now and must say I'm absolutely loving it. Don't think I've ever been so chilled, relaxed and happy in my life. I've been keeping busy, had stuff on every day which has made the days go in quickly, today is the first day I have no plans so going to catch up on some tv. Very excited for meeting our wee babes though and hope he or she comes soon but least I know the end is in sight. I've really enjoyed being pregnant and think I'm going to miss it xxx

I think I'll miss it too, I did miss it last time.

I think it'll be worse this time as there's more chance of it being my last, although DH has said he might want one more

I always said when DDs were 4 and 5 I'd want 2 more, and ones 5 tomorrow the other 4 in May. They are just best friends, so I want this one to have the same.

Altho, my surgeon won't be pleased...he wants me sterilised!

Fingers crossed for flock and Toni that something happens soon.
The way I look at it was not so much that it was my due date yesterday, but that in less than two weeks baby will be here (based on being induced at 40+12) of it comes to it. Much better than getting hung up on a "date" given by a scan, that doesn't always tally up xx

Cosmo- so glad to here you're enjoying your mat leave. I might sound a bit horrible here, but you read of so many people complaining about it saying they're bored, want baby out etc.

To me when I was on mat leave (obv haven't had any this time with Harry!) it was a fab time to relax, do lots of little jobs, and look forward to baby coming. And watch rubbish tv in the afternoons!

I'm enjoying maternity leave, it's so nice not to think about work! Today I plan to have a small tidy up of the house, shower, get into fresh pj's and sit and watch TV lol!!!
I know I should be out walking etc but I just feel I can't be bothered today!! X

Thats the best way to look at things becky. Im loving mat leave...im such a nicer person now im not at work but I do find the waiting and wondering hard!
Are you still getting reglaur tightening this morning flick?

I will miss being pregnant but sooo cant wait to hold my baby x

MrsT, phew, I really thought I'd upset you! I think if you were unaware of a gush it would be worrying but her (my SIL) gestational diabetes and leaking waters went undetected and she lost her plus at 37 weeks. Baby is 6 months now and fine!

It sounds really horrible but I'm quite jealous of all these banies that have already arrived. I just wanna meet mine now and it feels like it's taking forever :'( Had another cry trying to get dressed this morning. Out please

Ugh Zoe, hope it doesn't last long for Helen. It's the last thing you wanna be putting up with so late on! Lots of rest and TLC
