Just hearing about the arrivals of babies is getting me excited! Congrats Jazz!! Not long to go for us.

Think jan/feb b&t thread is a fab idea. I will defo be heading over there after the birth.

Cant believe we have another feb baby, she was due after me aswel becky - arghhhhh!!! Best get organised.

These babies wernt hanging around long enough for us to sort out bump buddies were they! Xx

It's flicks fault, flick mentioned about not having any babies yet and a few days later, we have 2!!!

Xx

38 weeks today, starting to feel a bit weird but I'm not sure in what way! I've got a mountain of washing to do and the kitchen looks like a bomb has gone off. I'm tired, headachey and got no motivation what so ever! I'm now panicking as I need to get the house in some sort of order before baby comes, and I've decided to do it 2 weeks before my due date :wall2:

Congratulations brumgirl on the new arrival! X

Anyone else suffering with high blood pressure? Mine has been really good through the whole of my pregnancy & only last week was the midwife concerned because it was unusually high for me.

I went on sunday to have it checked & it was still high but the midwife didn't seem concerned. I've took it this morning twice, half an hour apart and it's still high. I'm going to retake it again in about 30 minutes and see. If it's high still, do you think it's worth speaking to the midwife?

Xx

Pip, I'd ring your midwife and just check :)
Have you got swelling in your hands or feet? Do you feel ok?
I had high bp for a few weeks at around 26 weeks but I think it was due to stress at work as it's been fine since I've finished.

Lol Pip! I know! O.O Something is running around pressing tummy buttons and giving out eviction notices!

Congratulations Brumgirl, I've seen on FB and she is a lil beauty. Hope you are doing well ^-^

Def need to merge the 2 months. I wonder how many more Feb Mums will be early and if any Jan Mums will go over?
I bet I'll still be sat here HUGE and fed up mid feb, 42 weeks along lol Babes is still doing some mighty movements in there, must have plenty of room still!

I might just give a quick call!
Nope no swelling anywhere, and no protein in my widdle so i'm not concered about pre eclampsia. Probably just my body getting fed up with the extra weight ha ha! Yeah i can imagine stress of working making it high!
Thanking you! :) :)

Xx

Pip, id ring if i where you.
Iv got slightly raised BP,as the doc told me yesterday, but swelling up everywhere (check out my swelling thread) my feet havnt gone down since yesterday.
Rung midwife and if the swelling doesnt go down i have to go in tonight to have my BP taken again, and i had slight raise in protein in my wee wee last week. Shes not concerned atm, more of an air of caution i think x

Thanks nici, i'll check out your thread!

I phoned up & she asked me to go in at 3. I bet it will be back to normal when I go so it's like i'm being dramatic haha! It'll probably just be something they'll keep a check on :)

Better to be safe than sorry hey

Xx

Ah wow congrats to the early feb mummies :-)

I'll set up a thread so just pop over whenever you're ready :-) hope you're not waiting too long for your little bundles xxx

Balling me bloomin eyes out after reading through the January mummies thread and knowing things are kicking off in here too!!! It's so overwhelming, scary, exciting... all the emotions!!!

Oh I know flick its a total mix of emotions knowing we are nearing the end (or the start depending what way you look at it!).

What was the outcome of your check up pip? My bp was slightly higher at my last appointment but midwife didn't seem concerned at all and just told me to ring her if I noticed an swelling or headaches.

Hope everything is ok with you nici - defo best to get checked out if things aren't settling xx
