*******February mummies 2015*******

Wow this morning was a shock to the system!

Was going to sleep last night, set alarm for 7.30 for school run, and it was already 2.47! Oops!

I think I can hear bed calling me back!

Blondy, I did pregnancy yoga with 1st and was quite good. Can't say it helped with anything loads but was nice to get an hour out, with peace and quiet each week! They did give breathing tips too.

x

Bad night for me here too but not just preg related my 3yr old has chicken pox and was so uncomfortable she couldn't settle until 3:30 she managed an hours sleep and we were back up at 4:30!!! Needless to say we are both back in bed now after taking the others to school. Hopefully we can get some snoozing in xx

Bricey- im sure they have told you already but make sure you take Metformin on a full stomach. It can give you an icky tummy at first.

Ive been really lazy throughout this pregnancy. i bought the Davina pregnancy workout and its still in its wrapper!! I'll be regretting it after baby comes when im trying to shift all this blubber!!

thanks Brum, ive heard horrid things about it, first tablet ok but think it will get worse!

Not any more but i was on it for my PCOS when we were first trying to conceive a few years ago, but it didnt agree with me at all. I think i was on 2 tablets twice a day so quite a high dose and this was built up gradually. I know other people who have been fine with it though so maybe i just have a sensitive tummy!

How are you feeling about your induction?

God almightly, i've missed out on sooo much!!! Been off for afew days but it's lovely to catch up.

Abit behind but so happy everything is ok MrsT and that baby Dexter can go til full term. Sorry to hear about Jase not coping, everything will be different when Dexter is here like everyone has said. Hopefully the GP will give him all the help he needs, his work sound vile and he should defo try and take the matter further. Better that you can both look after each other now :) :)

Went into Chester yesterday, shopping. I was about for about 5 hours and then cooked tea and had a quick clean - my back was in pieces by the same we sat down. Slept like a baby, only just woken up.. oops! Must of needed that sleeep!

Finished off my hospital bag yesterday so if baby decides to come today, we are both prepared! Such a relief.

We have antenatal classes tonight, 2 hours..! I hope they aren't too boring for James, he's no good at things like this - he will end up falling asleep after doing an 11 hour shift in work, I know I would!!!
xx

I feel ok about it, I know its for a reason and its not too early so might still have a natural birth anyway. i'll feel better once I speak to MW about getting booked in and ideally having the day I want

Does anyone feel like weeks are going quick but days are drAggin x

I feel like its totally dragging! My next milestone is to get to 37 weeks. 2 weeks and 2 days to go! My friends have organised a baby shower for me on saturday so I will be spending the next couple of days cleaning the house in preparation for that. Its always nice to have something to look forward to x

Exactly that Zoe, when I think it's Thursday im like "how the hell did that happen" but when I think about it day by day it's so slow. I have so many appointments now due to GD every week there is something so I kinda live through that to get me through milestones. My change over day is Saturday and 36 on sat but all I want its to get to 37 so this weekend is just another get thru!

I have a scan in week 37 and should get given my induction day that week so it's a biggie

Time is going by really quickly for me. I suppose having another lil'un means I don't have the time to focus so much on the pregnancy. Its more, "Mummy, whats for lunch?" "Can I get my cars out?" "I need a poo" "Mummy, I'm hungry" day in day out :P

Got my '34 week' growth scan later.. I'm 36+2 now lol Last chance to see babes before the real deal! Scary stuff, I'm actually really nervous :/ xXx

Morning ladies.

Bit late for the 34 wk scan at 36 hey flick lol.... These appointments clerks are struggling with counting ;)

I'm ok.... bit weepy today... snapped at mum on the phone and now feel really guilty too. Have decided to get a pad by me so can note down movements just to keep my mind at rest. I'm like everyone else with the dates..... Liverpool every Monday so they'll be my milestones. Should get section date on monday so that will give us something to work to... having to pack hospital bag again today as it got ransacked at the weekend lol decided to wash all of little man's clothes so on last couple of loads today then gonna sort his drawers out.... We have so much!!!! You ladies would die if you saw it all lol.

Hope everyone's ok.... Glad your gettinG good monitoring Bricey defo a good way to keep your mind at rest

Xxxx

MrsT dont worry too much about snapping at people.
Its our hormones and with what your going through no one can blame you for it!
You just think about you and your little family now xx

Hi ladies, not posted for a couple of days, hope you're all well.

The days are starting to go slower for me, I'm now training my replacement in work which means just sitting down watching someone and telling them what to do, pretty boring and therefore making the days go by very slowly, it is only going to get worse as she picks up the job and doesn't need as much advice from me, yay!

I'm so tired today, really struggling with 8:30 - 5:30 five days a week now, only another three weeks left after this one and I have used annual leave to make the last two weeks into four day weeks.

I'm still getting awful pains in my right hand side and at my Midwife check up yesterday they mentioned that baby is in a very strange position and something is sticking out on my right side, not sure what but probably a feet or arm! This is digging in and what is causing the pain.

I had my first parent craft class on Monday, all about labour, pain relief and hospital bags. It was very interesting and I'm looking forward to next week's already, breastfeeding I think.

Just had my prezzies, card and collection from everyone at work as its my last day tomorrow and feeling really cheesed off! I have been bought a couple of crappy smelly sets, nothing at all for baby and an envelope with £50 in cash because they 'didnt know what to get'. Dont want to be ungrateful but all seems like a last minute rush job with little thought gone into it. I usually do the collections for everyone else and always manage to get at least £150. Feel like crying im so pissed off!

Ah brumgirl- poor u, I'd be the same. In my old job I used to have to do the collections and every bday It was the same as the team were all men. Least u won't have to see them for a while ;)

Brumgirl in with you on that sort of thing happening - always putting the effort in, but getting bugger all back!

So I've washed all the sleep suits and vests I have from Harry

Next on the lost is the car seat/carrycot covers and a few other bits

After umming and aahing I've decided in going to treat myself to this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Chicco-Next-to-Me-Crib/dp/B00HHPLYHE

Having been through night feeds with Harry, and trying to get him back in his crib without waking him.. Along with trying to comfort him with my arms/hands at funny angles thru the bars of the crib next to my bed I figured that this would be great

Been to look at it in mothercare and it's got some great features. Height adjustable, you can have it raised at one end, so great for baby has a cold or has a bit of colic.

And best thing is it folds down into a travel bag- great for us as we often visit my mum and dad's caravan so will take up less room than our travel cot

I haven't bought a single thing for this baby, so this is my extravagance!!
