Wednesday what a joke!!! And to tell you the day before is ridiculous! Do you still have to go in for the pre op or have they moved it too? Have they told you what to do should your contractions start?

Ruth you should be able to claim Maternity Allowance from gov.uk. Your employers should provide a form stating why they can no longer pay you SMP (assuming this is what's happening?) And you'd then be paid SMP by DWP instead xxx

Hi lander thanks for your message xx they are still going to pay just smp thank god, but I'm losing the 7 months full pay I was promised totally gutted!!! It's just not affordable now xx

I was so upset on the phone with her.

She was a total arse. I dont understand how I havent just been moved to Monday instead, but Wednesday!!! Goodness me.

I have the doubts setting in again now... do I need a section? Do I really need it? Is baby as big as they say? They were wrong on my first so maybe theyre wrong again and I can just have a normal birth......

Argh. I had put those thoughts to sleep and now theyre back again

Sorry to hear you are being so messed around. Maybe ask for another scan if you did want to go back to the plan of not having a section?

Sorry to hear about your troubles too Ruth. My maternity pay issue still didn't get sorted out (obviously I have bigger things going on now!!). It's so crap to be dealing with all this as well as being heavily pregnant.

That's not good Wednesday have you not been for pre op today then? Iv been but have to go back Tuesday for more bloods to be taken. Are you considering not going for section now or still sticking with the plan?
Iv been told I'll be going down at 10am unless there are any emergencies!

I know!!!!! Work are complete *******s... that pay is nothing to them but it means everything to us... can't believe I worked so hard for the company I hope they go under lol xxx

Ive raised a complaint with the health board. The head complaints coordinator called me back and said its not acceptable... so now the head of maternity services is looking into it and will call me tomorrow.
If it was just due to emergencies then thats fair enough, but its complete incompetence as theyve booked me on the wrong day and wont put me on the Monday list - there is no way they can anticipate emergencies for Monday or Tuesday so its a load of crap.

Told my little boy about lack of beds meaning I have to go next week instead of tomorrow - he said
I hate the hospital! I wish they werent even alive!

I honestly dont even know if it is worth trying to muster the energy to call the other hospital for a growth scan.

Also, does anyone else have ridiculously sore boobs?? Mine are really painful at the moment. The right is worse and Ive had a couple of instances of shooting pain through it! And leaking

Carnat. We were both November 2012 mummies. I am so sorry to read about little Edith being unwell. It must be such a trying and worrying time for you and your family. I hope the professionals find answers soon and get crack on with treatment. All the very best to you.

My boobs aren't sore but I'm definitely getting a lot of pelvic pain both sides that hurts when I stand it's getting quite bad..

Got another growth scan on Wednesday next week and if baby's growth is still declining (it had dipped on the last scan) they will possibly look to induce me!! Getting a bit scary now lol xxx makes you realise that this little person does have to come out haha xx

I’m excited to hear of the February babies being born very soon! Hang in there all.. it’s not long now.

My boss called me today - he’s asked me to ring him. Well considering I’ve broken down in tears 3 times today I can’t see how having a conversation with him is going to be any good for me!

Ahh Wednesday glad someone senior is now looking into it for you! Hopefully that means a Monday section rather than on a Wednesday!

Think I may have broken myself decided to do the school run on foot yesterday as kids had been asking and by the end of it a pain started in my upper thigh it kills! Literally been in agony all night can feel it in my nether regions and lower back when I walk/turn over in bed. Won't be repeating that!
