They do glucose test if ur at risk if anyone in ur family have diabetes or if you had gestational diabetes with previous pregnancies or over 30 years of age
And they test u at around 20 weeks if they think ur at risk
If u never been asked it means ur not at risk

I got tested at 20 weeks with both my first and second pregnancy as my mum has type two diabetes and she’s insulin dependent and my father inlaw has diabetes aswell
But i was fine with both pregnancies came out normal
Had glucose test at 20 weeks with my 3rd pregnancy and i had gestational diabetes that time
So this time they did glucose test at 3 months pregnancy and i had gestational diabetes again
If you have gestational diabetes previous pregnancy you automatically get it after that how ever many time u get pregnant

Hope this helped x

Thanks! I have aunties and uncles on my mum’s side that are insulin dependent but I’m not sure what type of diabetes they have. I’m also 30 years old so I wonder why I’ve not been asked to have one. I won’t complain about it though haha... I might just mention it at my next midwife appointment. Thanks!

Soooooo Want to order the mamaroo 4.0 right NOW but i think its abit early lol trying my best to hold out till November

@Baby Ali ive looked but they’re so expensive and can’t justify the cost !

Well tomorrow my baby boy turns two. I’m feeling a bit sad about it because he’s grown so fast. His next birthday he’ll be a big brother so going to spoil him tomorrow.

Yeah its expensive but i think its worth it lasts up untill baby is 6 months,
And i dnt plan on buying moses basket or anything so this will be perfect for me and plus i dnt have to carry him that much,
i had one with my son and it was worth every penny he loved it and would sleep straight away and for long time x and also helped with his colic as it has lots of swaying/bouncing/cradling functions :)

I’m going to get a baby swing but just a cheaper one I think. Hopefully it’ll do the job. I intend on having a Moses basket anyway x

Got rather stressed today at work. I was fine up until 4pm (when I was meant to be leaving) and my manager gave me an urgent job which meant I had to stay until 7pm. I’m not meant to be in the office unless others are there for H&S reasons but I was the only one left by the time I was leaving at 7pm. I got so annoyed I cried on the way home. Hormones certainly aren’t helping haha. Think everything has just got on top of me and a good cry has helped haha.

How’s everyone else? X
