***December 2019 Mummies***

I had it with previous pregnancies but later on about 7-8 months pregnant and it wasn’t anything serious i got told by midwife its the skin stretching

Can I ask... is anyone getting a really itchy belly and boobs?

I’ve looked it up and it says it could be because my boobs and belly are growing so it’s the skin stretching which is making me itch. I’ve also seen that itching can be a sign of something worse. I’m going to mention it at my next MW appointment but wondered in the meantime if anyone else is getting these symptoms? X

Yeah, I'm getting both! The joys of pregnancy haha :)

I would say definitely mention it at your next appointment although sounds like it probably is skin stretching!
Is it in the palms of your hands or soles of your feet? Normally with obstetric cholestasis (the condition that can make you really itchy) it normally tends to start there and can sometimes then begin to extend to different places once the liver becomes a bit more affected by it. Your midwife will probably take some blood tests anyway just to make sure x

Thanks for replying ladies! It’s no where else that I’ve noticed apart from my boobs and belly. I’m 23 weeks now and have my next midwife appointment on 9th September. Will I be ok to wait until then or should I give them a ring to get an appointment this week after the bank hol? X

Here’s my latest bump picture. We’re getting there with the house and hopefully it’ll go live on Wednesday. I’m scared I’ve never bought a house before or sold one !

Pretty dress!

Moving to a new house is so exciting :)
I loved it wen we moved 2 years ago house had to be totally renovated as it wasnt habitable, hubbys a builder/ electrician
so everything inside the house was designed and made by hubby which is very personal to us and every design is unique we love it, hes designed his own extensions and loft conversions which we applied planning for and waiting ..
hes now building a man cave at the bottom of the garden, wen he pisses me off thats where he’s getting kicked out to lol

buying/ selling/ renovating properties is exciting :)

The heat today omg i literally had to go from car to building back to car again, I couldn't stand outside never mind walk! It really put a dampener on the scan cos it was so sickly hot in there. Baby was a proper wee pickle, hands and knees blocking the face, had to eat sweets and wiggle about to get it to move! Finally got some good images/video, and it's amazing that he/she looks the absolute double of my youngest daughter, like identical!!
Here's the two photos we got today, need to wait for the rest in the post :)

You could always ring and discuss it with the midwife over the phone? I’ve done that a few times about various things.

I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about. I’ve not had an itchy belly but I’ve had ridiculously itchy boobs at times. However, for any pregnancy worries, I would always say it’s best to talk with a midwife.

Having my first visit to delivery suite today. Had a fish of fluid so just getting checked out. Both the babies are happy thankfully x
