Yay for your tww poppy!! I thought you had already ovulated? Did you get pains again?

I keep getting twinges in my left and right ovary...did the deed before I came out to work, popped in a softcup to keep spermies up there. Finishing early tonight so should be home and in bed by 10! Lol I will catch the egg....not that I've ovulated yet. Hopefully will do before Saturday as going camping and sharing a tent!

Hi Niknak is this first month off pill for you or just trying! This is my second month off pill but first using monitor- I had a 35 day cycle last month and seemed like af would never show her face but was glad when she did!

I did a opk tonight and got my first ever + so hoping that is a good sign too! Just hoping that all the bd'ing has worked and temps start to rise

Is temp rise the only way I can know if I ov'd this month - I'm not sure at what point I can start counting dpo

Hey stephtcc.

If your opk is fainter tomorrow then I would count 1dpo as of tomorrow for now. Your temps will show a rise after ovulation but it can take a few days to become apparent. If your temps rise and stay risen for at least 3 days or longer then you can assume you ovulated at the dip. And yes temping is the only way to know if you ovulated unless obviously you get a positive hpt! Lol

No, sadly I'm 3 years ttc so I thought I would give cbfm a go. First month of using that.

I am not really clued up on temping as I don't do it. Think I will stick to just the monitor for now.

Last stick of 20 used today. Day 25 and has shown high throughout. Not feeling pregnant at all so roll on next cycle so I can get a peak! xx

Sorry to hear youve been trying that long! Let's hope that the monitor works for you and you get your peek next month! I only started temping because the thermometer was cheap on amazon and I though I would give it a go! Can't really say if it works well yet because temps were still low this morning - saying that the opk was still + so perhaps that's why


I have ready that these monitors just try and get used to you on month 1 so perhaps that's what has happened

Hi Emma

As you predicted I got a second peek today as well as a stinger line on my clear blue opk and even got a line on the really Cheever opk too! Certainly wasn't expecting that to happen!

Am I right in thinking that means that today isn't dpo and I have to wait and see what temps do inthe morning?

Rather exited - think I will tempt hubby home with the promise of steak for tea then pounce on him when he walks though the door lol

Second peak for me today on CD18!
Opk is less strong so I think ov will be later tonight or tomorrow, Fx'd.
Let's see if the temp rises over next day or so (first cycle temping).
Bd' this morning. Off to Scotland tomorrow (my sis gets married on Saturday), so last chance to catch that egg tonight as hubby not coming up to join us until really late Friday night.

Mishi- its would see we have ended up with the exact same cycle! I too got my second peak and opk a shade or 2 lighter now. Had some sharp twinges in right ovary area at lunch time. But I'm fairly constipated so could be that. I'm charting for the first time this cycle too, suppose only a rise in temps will tell if I ovulated. We bd twice yesterday and gonna do the same today and possibly Friday may give oh a rest on Saturday!

I'm a bit disappointed that I'm flying off tomorrow and won't effectively see hubby until Saturday evening (I don't think nipping off for a quickie in my Maid of Honor dress at my sisters wedding would be acceptable!!) so really hoping that our twice today is going to count.
I'm up at 5am tomorrow to go to get the flight - I'm drawing the line at setting the alarm for 4am so we can bd first!!

How long is your cycle? Testing day for me if no AF will be 22nd.xxx

Lol to be honest I might not bother on the Friday...I really can't be bothered! Lol. It is a bit crap that you have to go away but it only takes 1 little sperm and you've bd twice so there's plenty up there! Lol

If I have another 31 day cycle, which I seem to be having, I'll be due af on the 22nd so testing on or around that day if no sign of the witch x x

I know the feeling we've been at it every other day since cd6! I'm only 28 but my body feels 78 at times.

I had pains Friday but got the peak Friday and Saturday so I assume I ovulated sometime around then.

Enjoy your camping, rather you then me I'm a home girl!

Morning ladies,

I'm on cd18 today, monitor didn't ask for a stick today and is showing low after the high reading I got yesterday. I know my surge has gone as I'm getting negative opks to. Finally managedd a full 4 hours sleep or more last night! Yay! So finally able to take temp...it was upto 36.39 its highest yet so I'm hoping it stays up now. If It's up again tomorrow then I'll be 2dpo and officially in my tww.

Morning Emma

That's good news! I was a bit of a plonker yesterday - I always poas before I turn the monitor on and yesterday when I turned it on it said high and didnt ask for a stick - so that one was a bit wasted! Lol

I'm now on cd17 - and got a low on the monitor today !! Temp was up yesterday from 97.0 to 97.44 which looks steep on my chart and up again today - I'm guessing that means I'm now 2dpo?? But not sure! As it was last high yest we dtd and I'm hoping that will be enough as I am off to Scotland today - back tomorrow pm!

One thing I did notice was strong twinges on left hand side on Wednesday - I think it was I pain - we were at the cinema and it was even twinging when I laughed

Really hope I've got it all covered this month as I'm feeling quite positive - the other thing is my friend has got her 12week scan on 23rd and would like my bfp before that - it sounds selfish but I am finding I'm green with envy - especially as all she seems to do is rub her belly (from 7 weeks) don't get me wrong I am happy for her but when she knows how hard I'm trying seem like its rubbing it in xx

Oh well fx for us all this month xx

I like your chart Emma, if I'm not preg by my September cycle I'm going to start temping.

Any one got any symptoms?

I have sore boobs since about 2dpo which is very strange I normallynget them 4-6 days before af arrives.

I also saw a fortune teller this week and she said I will be preg by Xmas! Hmmm I didn't even mention kids she just came out with it!

Hi Emma can you update my details on the main page. The has arrived so 1st cycle using CBFM wasn't lucky for me so onto the next cycle it is then.

2nd cycle using CBFM
Not sure when testing in September
POA: Folic acid, Calcium, vitamin D, drinking lots of water, grapefruit juice, Temp charting, SMEP!
