I missed heppi's labour thread aswell.
I had a speculum examination a few weeks ago and the midwife thought i had scar tissue on my cervix so she got a consultant to look. He seemed worried and took a sample. Ive tried not to think about it too much.

Scottishlassie is having her waters broke tomorrow and I thi k if nothing happens then she will be induced so maybe it will be her! X

i'm hoping for another week, just to enjoy my pregnancy to the fullest... but i don't think i could stand being 2 weeks overdue, i am too impatient for that!

Ouch... I'm in pain!!! I have been having tightenings for the past hour or so, and they are pretty uncomfortable! Not sure if they are actual labour contractions (even thought they feel the same as when I had brooke) or just braxton hicks, so I am in the bathroom now running a bath so I can relax and try and time them!

Would be nice if it was labour, as its my due date.. Yay!! Xx

Morning ladies, great news about Kelly, hope my labour is that quick lol. I doubt its going to be as baby doesn't seem to want to come out at all at the minute. Am 5 days over now grrr!!!

I have just had my due date appt and my sweep - ouch! It bloody hurt

Had been having back ache since last night and all this morning, also felt quite sick & shaky and went to the loo twice this morning When I said all this to the MW she said "perfect!" Did my sweep - jesus wept, that was sore! And she said all is looking good She said for a first time Mum she was impressed at how she could get in and have a good rummage, she could feel baby's head and when she brought her hand out my show was on her glove! She said it's looking good In case it doesn't happen though (boo! hiss!) I've been booked in for induction on 25 August at 8.30am - please God, it won't come to that!

Oohh (sneaking in from oct mummies thread) i saw your update and needed to comment. Everything is sounding so positive hunny, fingers crossed the sweep pushes things in the right direction and your LO will be making an appearence anytime soon x x

Well, had my 40+2 midwife appointment today. Apparently baby STILL hasn't tucked it's head in so no signs of it coming any time soon and also means that she couldn't do a sweep so I'm no further forward boooo!

Been booked into the day unit for next Thursday if nothing has happened by then for a scan and a sweep and then induction on the 27th if theres still no movement!

Come on baba, get a move on! x
