Happy due date Jen, almeria and siany
Had a lovely night sleep after i cleaned the house (finally nesting) but woke up this morning in pain with my hand

Hope everyone is ok today. I was going to take the kids to the fireworks tonight but its raining so may take them tommorrow if the weather is nice.

Happy due date Jenny, almeria and siany woo hoo - go on, do a Kelly lol.....bet we all wish! Been to MW today (and yes I managed to produce a pee on demand for her). Blood pressure a little high but what was totally amazing is that 2 weeks ago when I was 36 weeks pregnant I measured 38 and now I'm 38 weeks pregnant I am measuring 41/42 . She is gonna wait till next Tuesday and re-measure but looks like I may have to go for a grown scan! Also, baby's head is 4/5 engaged !!! YAY I hate to get my hopes up but now I'm wondering if I may go early..... Doc can do absolutely nothing for my lack of sleep. Prescribed me some Camomile tea so I've bought some to see if it helps....
have a good day and if anyone want to come and hoover my house at 5/6 am - your welcome!!

Oh you wont be on your own - i'm due 31st August so looks like I'll probably have a September baby

Ah you wont be on your own chick, i'll probably still be here, I'm 7 days over now and feeling bit sorry for myself. I've got the Day Unit tomorrow for another sweep attempt, scan and baby monitoring so fingers crossed something happens after that. Or its induction on Tuesday.

i have a monitoring booked for next monday and another growth scan on weds, then they will discuss possible sweep/induction.

Hope the sweep works for you hun. It wont be much longer till you have your beautifull baby in your arms.

Tracey did the DR give you anything to help you sleep?
Do you think you will make it to the growth scan next week i think you may have baby by then.

Thanks hun, me too as I don't really wanna be induced! But she couldn't do sweep last week as it was still posterior and closed. But thank you xx

are you going to wait it out or have an induction? Ive been booked in or Friday and have had little signs his gona come before debtaing whether to wait it out a little longer... the thought is completely freaking me out, i was completely mentally prepared for a normal birth! I feel absolutely fine, I would rather stay pregnant another week! but if its better for the babies health Im gona have to do it x

you can opt for daily monitoring instead of an induction after 40+14 if you want, if the placenta is functioning well and baby is having good movements, nothing to suggest you can't go into labour naturally.
depends how uncomfortable you feel too hun x

Hey huni, well am going the Day unit tomorrow and they're going to do a sweep which fingers crossed it works and I won't need induction but yes I'll be induced on Tuesday if not. Have you had a sweep yet? I'm sure induction is fine hun and I wouldn't worry xx

Tried to have sweep on Sunday but she couldnt reach my cervix..and said it was prosteior..im not sure if that means that im dialated at all or she doesnt know becasue she couldnt reach think im gona ring up tomorrow and try and have another one so got another chance before having the induction! I'm trying not to worry but as its getting closer its starting to scare me! I really dont want to stay overnight on my own..especially when you will be getting contractions. Good luck tomo hope it goes well for you xx

yeh...im thinking of doing this but then if anything did happen i dont think i could live with myself! I feel absolutely fine! I feel less pregnant than I have for the last 2 months! Don't understand how think his too happy in there! The mw said he wont be more than 7 1/2 lbs either she originally said 6 1/2 -7 so his not running out of room just yet... urghh silly boy please come out!! xxx

Exactly! I'm exactly the same as you at the mo, feeling less pregnant than I have for a long time. Just want a cuddle from baba now

Here's hoping for it to happen soon for us x
