I remember getting to 100 days to go then 50 and now I'm less than 10, its brilliant at how fast its gone!
Hope BH ease for you Jen!
Brooke had some fun earlier, we got one of her dolls, put a nappy and Charlie's vest and baby grow on, put doll in bouncer and then put it to bed in cot, then she took it for a walk in the pram.. She loved it, hope she is as gentle and kind to her real baby brother! Xx
I just heard a very loud popping noise come from my bump
Spd really bad now baby is engaged cant walk much.
Hope we get some more labour watches soon come on august m2bs.
Kelly - yep, I've got a sweep at 10.00 in the morning. Not looking forward to it!
Aww sounds like Brooke is excited - little girls tend to have that 'motherly instinct' in them, my niece is the same
Good luck to you Jacki if things start to kick off! And I'm feeling your pain with the BH Jen, I've had awful tightenings today after walking around a huge pet shop near me :-/ xx
we'll today is my "second" due date, and OH has now resigned himself to going back to work tomorrow (he took last week off as holiday) and we're going to go to town this morning for a bumble around, hopefully that might help get things moving! hope your all feeling better this morning x
Yep, my next is tuesday, well remembered kelly! I doubt it'll work, she said my cervix was still high (probably why it hurt so much) and she couldn't get her finger in (tmi) but she had a good rummage around to try and get it more favourable.
Going for a hot hot curry later and will keep bouncing on my ball
Don't baby's engage at the last minute with women who've had a baby before? That's probably why xx
Think baby's engage whenever they feel like it, whether its 1st 2nd or more, friends 2nd baby engaged at 34wks.. It just seems like I'm the only one who's LO doesn't want to..Lol, I should be grateful as I don't know if I could cope with the added pain/pressure etc, I am already struggling to walk due to SPD in my foof! lol x
Lulu, was it really bad? I've got one a week tomorrow and my friend has one on Weds, she said her friend told her it was just like having a smear but I've never had a smear! x
I've never had a smear either (and I'm 28 - very naughty, I know). I'm guessing it was painful because my cervix wasn't ready, as the MW said it would only feel a bit uncomfortable.
She said she tried to bring my cervix forward
It was over really quickly though. x
God knows when i will be offered a sweep! i am not allowed one till im a week over as ive already had a baby, they only give sweeps here to 1st time mums on there due date but my next apointment with MW is at 40+4 so whether she gives me one then as i will only be 2 days short off being 1 week over, but i can see me having to wait till im well over a week overdue! hopefully i wont ever need a sweep tho xx
Feels weird that we are having, talking or booked in for sweeps..
I know, I still can't believe how quick it's gone! We'll all be popping bubbas out before we know it!
I just managed to express about 2 teaspoons of colostrum using my breast pump which I'm storing in the freezer for Poppy. Might try and get more again later or tomorrow.
I dont get offered a sweep till a week overdue !! I got one on my due date last time and I just chilled and had a laugh with my midwife - I think if you tense up it may hurt so just try and relax.
So far I predict KellyHook gonna be overdue by 4 days and Jennyfarful will be a due date baby. Lulu, well we know you gonna be early....
Myself - I always thought I'd be 10 days overdue but now I'm getting a "feeling" that I may actually be early - lets say 5 days early.
I predicted myself at 4-5 days over to which I can handle (I think lol ). But will most likely have to be induced as he has been a little monkey already so why would he stop now. Lol
O would be nice for you to go 5 days early tracey! Then you would def be a august mummy
Jen I think you maybe will go 5-6 days over! (Sorry) and Lulu I predict yours will be here by next weekend! Lol
