I don’t know how to read these either but I’ve bought cheapies too so I hope I can figure it out! I’d dtd just in case because even if not positive yet you are clearly close!

I am really annoyed the nurse told me false information.
Is the anyway that she could have been right and AF arrived straight after?
I am completely and utterly baffled. What a shit cycle this has been but I suppose now I can move on to cycle no.14

Absolutely gutted and fuming for you! How could she tell you that if it wasn’t there? Did she say she saw a follicle that was ready then? I’d be concerned about a cyst or something if she saw something on your ovary which clearly wasn’t a follicle. A cyst could also explain a longer cycle x

That’s so frustrating Char, maybe you should call your doctor and explain what has happened and ask what it means? Does AF arriving tie in with your positive OPK? X

Maybe your body was already starting to shed the lining when you did finally ovulate? I think they would be able to see the difference between a cyst and a follicle. Cysts get huge, while follicle remain quite small. I remember seeing my cyst and it was a big black ball on the screen, and when I was about to ovulate it looked like a bag of small black balls, sorry for the simple explanation. Did you see anything on the screen while you were there?x

Hi popping in about to read some posts here. Well I didn't ovulate last cycle (I tried vitex of all things...guess that was not good for me). But here I am ovulating right on time this cycle. Decided other than vitamins and pre-seed, Im done messing with other items/supplements.

Anyways positive OPK was Weds, got a time in before that and then tonight (Weds night here now).

May I have August 14th please? Would be nice if this is it as our 4 yr wedding anniversary is the 20th. But we will see what happens.

God know what has gone on this cycle but I’m guessing it may because I changed up my supplements. Just a little bit fed up if I am totally honest but life goes on aye and here I go onto my next cycle. Praying i will get some luck soon.

I tried the cheapie opks for first time last month as had never done it before and thought just wanted to see when I did. When got near to same colour about 8 that morning I took another one at 9.30 and it was a surge and then another at 1.30 and from then on started to get lighter if I didn't test a few times that day I would have missed it. Good luck. X

Aw so sorry to hear that. Do you think you could have ovulated twice? I have heard some do ovulate a 2nd time before their AF so the bleeding could be from first ovulation? Hope they give you answers on next visit xx

HSG can apparently be good at helping you ttc. maybe will be case for you.
if i was you i wouldnt have been v happy with them to say Ovulating to not be.. if it was me i would have phoned to just 'enquire' as to why this was said when you got af 3 days later.. they may offer to rescan? i dunno tho tbh.. normally they seem so careful with what they say to you.. when i went in for scan, i said i was spotting and they all wouldnt say yes its normal etc.. not till they did the scan then they was like right this is what can happen... they also wouldnt say everythings ganna be fine now either, they said you just cant tell but its a excellent sign.. just think its naughty to say that is all :/

So annoying for you!! That’s so odd that she told you that, it’s deffo worth checking out and asking how she could have got it so wrong? Do you have full AF now?

Not sure what’s happened with me this month no temp spike which I’m assuming means no ovulation, CD31 now, AF due between cd 34-38

I drink quite a lot of liquids so it’s really difficult for me to abstain from drinking water for a few hours before, what length of time do you not drink before? X

I used to just use them in the morning but they never worked for me really.

The morning I saw it near the same colour tried again on smu and that's when I got my peak. Tried to hold as long as possible then and tried 2 more times that day 1.30 and I think around 6. Then again just fmu for I think 2 days after. Everyone is different but I didn't want it take take over thoughts everyday and having to hold to test, just wanted an idea what day I ovulate.

Thanks hun I usually use clear blue advanced which you use with fmu, so I might try these with fmu too then when it gets close use more in a day x
