August 2017 babies!

Jill I've herd that the vagina can swell up making it look more like a boy part! And well a boy can just be small an unseen! XD

Haha, I'd be devastated. I have my heart set on a little girl now, I thought she was a boy so when they said girl I was shocked then went shopping and yeah I want a girl now. XD x

Hi Everyone, I have some reading to do to catch up again - the forum sure moves fast when you miss a few days!

Quick update: I will be consultant led - met her last week, she seems ok - not very chatty but was quite knowledgeable about the questions I had, which is re-assuring. I get a scan at 28 weeks (I think there are 3 extra growth scans if you are consultant led). Liver problem seems to be heading in a better directions, so hopefully that was just irritation from having been vomiting a little during morning sickness, with little food replacement at the time. Growth spurts with baby seem to trigger some nausea and cramps but that's all pretty normal, from what I understand. No more UTI's - phew!

Generally feeling well, bump is slowly but surely growing - found a super comfy pair of maternity joggers for home- I wish I could wear them everywhere. I'm not a joggers person generally, but these are great! They were from Bon Prix. Busy starting to buy some stuff for the baby now - everything feels a lot more settled and confirmed in Tri-2.

I'll be reading up to see how you are all doing and progressing. I miss chatting with you all. Life got a little hectic and recently had a birthday too which I decided to go away for, as it will be the last one baby-free. Only a local holiday but a break none the less.

Chat soon.x

Tashap I think I've only recently started feeling him in the past 10 days or so, and even then it's nothing really obvious! I have an anterior placenta though so that doesn't help. But I'm pretty sure it is baby now and not just my tummy rumbling haha. It's not very frequent atm, just a couple of times in the evening really.

I'm not doing parenting classes I don't think PB, but I am doing the antenatal ones offered at the children's centre at the beginning of June. I don't know if there are any parenting ones here but I reckon they would be pretty useful.

Feeling good today, the sun is out and I've just finished work for 10 days woohoo. I'm off to Spain with my mum on Monday :)

Enjoy Spain (might have missed you as it's already monday)!!

You've all been busy since I checked this morning! In Ibiza now and it's lovely :)

We have tentatively decided on a name... yay! And it was my first pick haha. But we will see, we might not think it suits him when he's born! We are gonna keep it quiet just in case.

Ah PB what a nightmare, I would definitely put in a complaint now. I know there's not much they can do if the scanner is broken but it's one thing after another!

Glad you are feeling better spuds :)

PB, hoping for a girl but I have no inkling either way

MissCharli, enjoy your holiday and stay hydrated!

Spud, glad things are on the up for you!

Misscharli - hope your having an amazing time x

Ahh I bet it's lovely over there! Enjoy :)

My latest bump picture - I think I finally look pregnant and not fat. Although I do still have a B bump but that can't be seen in dresses like this x

~ Tasha,
Your bump looks fabulous!!! Can't help but notice the baby scan pic in the background on the mantelpiece, makes your bump photo even sweeter

~ MissCharli,
I am so jealous, I hope you're having a great time  xx

~ PeanutButter,
Happy 20 weeks! :cheer: xx

~ Spuds,
Always lovely to hear from you, I do miss you and wonder how you're doing whenever you don't post for a while -although totally normal/understandable!- so it's wonderful to know you're feeling better and the regular monitoring through consultant sounds so reassuring. Take care sweetheart xx

I find this pregnancy so tough, still no energy so struggling to function and doing simple things feels ridiculously exhausting. And this nausea after everything I put in my mouth hasn't left me :( I was feeling amazing in comparison in my previous pregnancy by now...

Sending love to all of you xx

Happy 20 weeks!!! I am 24 this week. I always feel so much happier after 24 for some reason! I will get a bump pic later. I am in edinburgh today visiting some friends. One who is due end of June with her first. I am,currently sat in the car with this view.... Feel like I should give her some time to recoop from all the faces

Nice to read updates from you lovely lot.
Gorgeous bump Tasha
Glad you are feeling better spuds. Will you be consultant led because of the liver blood tests you had? Will be nice and reassuring to get extra scans.

Enjoy Edinburgh Jill. I love that city. Will be going myself in May for a wedding.

I'm also still struggling H4R. Soooo tired. Didn't help working this weekend though. I'm lying on the sofa after work feeling like I can't move. Part of it is that I've put on a lot of weight. I feel so heavy already and feel exhausted lugging myself round. :(

Xx

I've put on a lot of weight too Elspeth. I believe I was just in a poor physical condition in the time before I fell pregnant this time (what with mum dying etc) so the weight must have piled on as my metabolism suddenly changed with pregnancy. Plus not being active enough with my constantly low energy must have played a big part too :( Whereas I was very fit back when I fell pregnant with my son  xx

23 weeks. Still not much of a bump 😕

Good to hear everyone seems to be feeling quite good at the moment. I was looking in the mirror this morning and thinking that I feel fine but I'm pretty sure I had a pregnancy glow by this time with my first and it gets later and later each pregnancy!

I've been discovering new dinners to cook with my slow cooker. So today I made veggie chilli but needed to cook black beans first separately. They take an hour and ten minutes to cook so I put them on and promptly forgot about them and fell asleep with the kids for their nap just as I should have been taking them off the cooker. Woke up two hours later to the whole house smelling like I'd lit an actual bonfire in it. The place stinks and now my OH is wandering around complaining about it. Bloody men x

Anyone wake up sometimes and just not feel pregnant? :eh: woke up usually have lots of pelvic pressure/pain and I didn't even get up to pee last night usually go at least once then straight again in the morning. I could have lay in bed for ages.
Strange lol x

I woke up in the middle of the night a few days ago and was like "have I felt him kick Today" I totally panicked! Then he started kicking haha!

Well I woke up this morning after five and a half hours straight sleep - my son hadn't woken up at all which is a miracle for him and the longest block of sleep I've had for ages. Only thing was that was all the sleep I got :( and then I was sick when I went to the bathroom and started getting ready - just a random bit of morning sickness.

My entire house stinks because I accidentally burnt a pan of beans really badly yesterday and now I don't know how to get rid of the smell! X
