I know I totally wasn't expecting to book anything in! Eek!! So I get to have my birthday on the 7th, then I'm in the next morning :shock:


 
Awhhh how cute! :) Hopefully he comes on the same day as induction, be cool having your birthday so close :p x
 
Well the reckon if they do it on the 8th they'll expect him on the 10th. Which I'm happy with. Seems too real now ha!


 
Wow can't believe people have dates for induction already - that makes it seem like this is all very close now! X

I know, I was so surprised when the consultant got the diary out and was like right what time do you want? I'm not sure what I was expecting but not that haha. But totally not bothered by being induced, happy to have a date to aim for. Feels like it gives me a bit more control over proceedings haha, and my mum can definitely be there, which I was worried about.
 
Wow I can't believe you's have both got dates already it makes it feel so much closer than it feels without a date set! It seems to be creeping up so quickly now! Atleast you's are able to plan now 🙂

We have been building Ikea furniture again tonight and for a second time we have got a damaged part but what's even worse is that it is completely out of stock both in store and online so I'm having to talk to their chat and see what they say. Even worse is that I can't find the receipt I have put it in a safe place 😭 So I have had to send a screenshot of my bank atleast I paid by card that's a plus! I'm stressing it won't be all done by the time he arrives now!
 
Yeah it's nice to have a proper date to aim for :) What a nightmare with the ikea furniture though! I hope you get it sorted :) x

So exciting that some ladies are getting there dates makes it feel real :) I can't wait to know abit more as to what they have planned for me, currently sitting hooked upto yet another ctg, but the sound of baby never gets old :)

I'm currently washing all his baby clothes and just been ironing bibs. Probably for the last time ever but they are so cute and fluffy.

Kiwi - it's so nice and reassuring being attached isn't it. I'd spend all day in the unit if they would have me x


 
Aaah! I'm ready stuff wise (pretty much, few little things to get) but I don't think I'm actually ready now!

Yeh it's definitely reassuring to here baby, and with getting these frequent scans I at least feel that it's not long between appointments. So takes away abit of the guessing, wish they would let me know a little more sometimes but I guess it's all just a waiting game. Xxx
 
I can't wait! I have been having loads of pains and twinges again so of ourse everyone is saying I'm going soon... talk about jinxing it haha! I just got a super sexy waterproof sheet for our bed incase my waters go when I'm in bed

Do you need to pack a cardigan for baby in hospital bag? What about dummies and should I take a bottle incase i cant breast feed? Thanks:) xx
 
Is it normal to be more apprehensive than excited at this stage?

I'm not sure PB! I think they will give you bottles etc in the hospital if you need them and don't have them? I haven't packed a cardigan or dummies, but maybe they are a good idea. I guess it depends on the weather at the time for the cardigan!
 
I think I'm starting to get nervous now feeling like everything isn't going to get done! Taking a cardigan and a dummy is a good idea thanks PB! Atleast if you pack the cardigan you can use it if you need it rather than wishing you had packed it!
You can also buy baby milk in presteralised bottles if you want to take a backup in with you. That's what my friend did 🙂 I think they are about £7 for 6 but they were worth it because they come with the teats and everything and you have t got to worry about sterilising a bottle or more etc. But you could always send your OH out to get some if need be.

Today we have built to cot so that's all the furniture in little legs room built I just need to fill it and screw them to the walls.
