April 2021 Mummies! Tri2!

Aww you guys are so nice <3 thank you
Yes @malagueta has done a great job with creating the posts and keeping them up to date.

@Krysta I am always hungry, sometimes it feels worse just before I throw up, so I end up eating more to stop the hunger sickness but just end up throwing it up. Considering the amount I have eaten I haven’t put as much weight on as I would have thought!

@Ktpotatie aww sounds like you had a bit of a stressful day yesterday, hope your car isn’t too scratched and you are feeling better today

@Zoe_helen25 I also haven’t drank tea for the last 2 months, I’d love having a nice cup of tea but just the thought of it or of any hot drink just makes me feel nauseous. Hopefully soon enough we will be able to go back to drinking brews!
A Facebook page sounds like a nice idea, I don’t mind either way

:flower:

Hi ladies! I'm another May mummy creeping over here :D Our month is pretty quiet. I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow and I'm due on 1st May so I might end up an April mummy anyway. I probably will as it's my birthday on 28th April so would be just typical to be in labour on my birthday!

Hope you're all doing well and looking forward to getting to know you all :) I still have a great group of mummy friends from this forum from when my daughter was born in 2018 x

Yes I’m still in my 2019 fb mum’s group, much easier to keep in contact.

@malagueta yay you’re here <3 it’s my partners birthday on the 26th April, I’m hoping they don’t end up with a birthday on the same day but as you said it’d just be typical wouldn’t it!

I know people put photos on here but it’s the the public I don’t trust I will make one if you all private message me on here ur name I’ll know it’s you when I put the link xxx

I had my 16 week midwife appointment yesterday. A completely different midwife to last time!

She reviewed my bloods from booking in, urine and BP all fine too. And she found baby’s heartbeat! I was so glad to hear it!

I’m not on Facebook but if we could also create a WhatsApp messenger group I’d love to share photos there! Let me know what you think :)

I am still friends with many moms from our November 2011 due date club, it’s so special!

Oh and 2 moms from the august 2014 Ddc are 2 of my closest friends now. Going through this together is so special.

It’s best feeling in world and to share it with people who are going through same it’s lush xxx

Ah @JoJo19 the car is fine! Just a small scratch that came out with polish!

welcome @malagueta !!

hope everyone has had a nice bonfire night (if you celebrate it) we’ve have the bonfire out and a few sparklers. Managed to get a whole load of cardboard burnt from the furniture we bought when we moved house!

had a good day today pregnancy wise, my tummy seems to be getting bigger, I can’t tell but everyone at work is noticing it more! Xx

All good for me sorry for tmi but I finally went to the loo !!! I’m buzzing :) so happy to be feeling bit better today hopefully that might start to feel a bit more human xxx

Ladies, I would like to apologise for being extremely rubbish with being active on this forum :booboo:

I have updated the main page with genders, please continue to update with genders when you find out or please say if you're not going to find out so I can add a yellow stork next to your name. I've also added the new May mums! Welcome ladies :D

How was Guy Fawkes night? Did anyone celebrate? We did some sparklers in the garden but that was all.

Has anyone started thinking about birthing options?

Hey Olivia! Hope you’re doing well, how are the driving lessons going? Is the work in the house done? And hope your uni work is going okay, you’ve got so much on your plate, we all understand that you’ve been inactive!
We had a bonfire and some sparklers for guy fawkes night. Thankfully the weather was just nice for it :) xx

@Olivia118 aww I wouldn’t worry about it, you’ve got a lot on by the sounds of it.
Thanks for adding us May mummies <3

We didn’t do anything last night, just locked the cat flap so the cats wouldn’t go out and get scared. There was a lot of fireworks this year, lots of people doing them at home because there was no displays on.

Yep I’ll be having an elective c-section at 39 weeks, I’ve had two emergency c-secs and the last one was an elective c-sec, so just seems the safest way to do it.

With all the current covid restrictions, I’m trying not to think about it too much, as it’ll just make me anxious.

Thanks for adding me @Olivia118. For now we don't know what we're having (next scan mid-December) but at my first scan the doctor said she thought it might be a girl. We'll just have to wait and see!

15 weeks today for me. It seems so far behind so many of you! I feel like my bump has shrunk a bit this last week but maybe that's baby just moving up a bit. Did anyone else have this? It's my second so I've been showing much earlier so have noticed a change. With my first I didn't even have a bump until about 16 weeks. It's not hugely noticeable atm with the right clothes but I've been in maternity jeans for weeks now!

@malagueta it does feel like we are so far behind even though it’s only a couple of weeks or so!
This is my first so I don’t know if it’s bump or just me being really bloated but I look quite rounded atm haha!
we have booked a private scan, we were going to wait for the 20 week scan to find out the gender but as my 16 week appt is on the phone, I don’t think we are going to get to hear the heartbeat with the NHS so it was something I really didn’t want to miss out on. So going for the private scan when I’m 17 weeks, so 2 weeks tomorrow!

I am doing ok! Yes there is a lot going on right now. Unfortunately my driving lesson got cancelled as my uncle died, so I've been helping my mum with arrangements. Then lockdown happened and now there's no lessons or tests for a month, so that's on the back burner till new year! Instead I'm using the time to focus on getting ahead on my uni work. Yes, the weather was quite mild last night compared to previous Guy Fawkes. My toddler loves the fireworks!

Welcome :)
Ohh yes! I remember the panic about fireworks when I had pets! They would become so stressed, I would dread Guy Fawkes or NYE!

Yes, it will be one to watch with the guidelines at the time. We will most probably have 2 birth plans and follow whichever Covid allows us too.
