Ugh, it's no fun being in my head at the moment.
I've been desperate for my scan to come around but now as it gets closer I'm dreading it.
The only experience I have of a scan is a really crappy one and that's all I seem to be able to think about.
I'm finding it impossible to believe I'll be able to turn up on Monday and get good news.

I know it's silly to think like that and I've had no signs to suggest I'll get bad news but it's soooo hard!!

Loving all these scan pics And so many people hitting Tri 2, exciting times I can't wait till my scan but still got a couple of weeks to wait. Excited and nervous all at once! Fingers crossed for you for Monday Crawkay and KatyJane.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year! I've had a lovely time, been feeling so rough this week though! I feel your pain Claire. This is my roughest week so far I think but I'm hoping this is the peak and then it'll ease off soon Fingers crossed!

Hi ladies, happy new year! Got our 12 nt scan today at 11.40, so excited and nervous at the same time. But will update when I get home tonight with pics if all is OK. Hubby is off work today and our 3 year old is in nursery so we're going out for lunch and to cinema this afternoon, hopefully to celebrate all OK.

Also, as I had to do a sample to take along with me just in case I thought I'd do the bicarbonate of soda test. Got no fizz, so that suggests girl!

Morning ladies Happy New Year and I hope the sickness is starting to pass a bit more for those suffering with it! I know I am counting my lucky stars to have not been sick, but even so I'm starting to feel definitely more human this week.

I've been wanting to ask those of you at this stage - are you starting to relax a bit more about things now? I've just posted in the feeling low thread - hard to put my finger on but I know that now I've had my 12 week scan and all was good, it should be a massive weight off my mind. And it is, but at the same time I'm freaking out that babies are still lost later in pregnancies, and I'm so wary of getting my hopes up. I know it's daft and I can't go all through the pregnancy assuming something bad is going to happen! I'm just so conscious that it still might Anyone else feeling this way?? Xx
