Aww hope it goes better than you think Crawkay! Will be really good when everyone knows the reasoning behind everything! I feel like I keep being unnecessarily snappy at the moment. I can feel myself doing it and I don't mean to but just so irritable! Can't wait till I can explain to people properly.

Went really well thanks Lola! Minimal Nuchal liquid (if that's what you say) measuring a few days ahead so now due 7th July!

Did my Xmas shopping today...aghhhhh! All done though! How are you all?

Glad it went well BonzE And being moved forward too, that's exciting!

I'm done with the shopping too but haven't even started the wrapping! Keep putting if off. I always end up doing it really late on Christmas Eve, such a last minuter!

Going up north tomorrow for Christmas (am originally from near Manchester) so will be telling my parents as my mum will guess with me not drinking anything over Christmas. Haven't told anybody at all yet so will be strange but can't wait xxx

I'm really sorry to hear about your dad Boosh! Thinking of you at this difficult time!

Told my grandmas today about the baby. One was very excited and the other acted a bit odd. Kept mentioning how she and my grandpa got married in secret and then had a baby as people shouldn't have babies until they're married!! So was acting a bit weird. Then later on she was really excited and bought something for the baby! All a bit weird!

My mum also pressured me into telling my dad over the phone when is already planned on visiting him next week to tell him. All because she's been telling everyone and thought that they would tell my dad. Why can't people just keep their mouths shut. I did mention that it's not anyone else's news to tell,so perhaps people should keep it to themselves. So I told him over the phone,which wasn't what I wanted!! Grrrr!!

All in all a weird day! Got some more Christmas shopping done though,which is helpful! I'm going to finish it off tomorrow hopefully!

Lola1 - I completely agree with the wrapping I keep putting it off, got everything out to do it tonight and managed a few pressies then couldn't be bothered! I've been snappy - my poor hubby and our 3 cats keep getting snapped at!

Twinkletoes - that made me giggle about people not keeping their mouths shut - me and OH have just told our parents and they have been really good - but my ex-boss wasn't and when I left (because the company stressed me out) she decided it was her business to tell everyone!!!

I love wrapping prezzies,when I was a teenager I would wrap them all up,unwrap them and wrap them again!! It's my favourite bit of Christmas!! I love it!!x

Bizarre question, I've been reading its a no-go to paint your nails in the first trimester - I just wondered if it was best to keep away?

I haven't heard it's a no-go, but I read that if it's like once a week, and you're careful about using remover ie lots of ventilation, you should be fine. I think they were warning against a new coat every day.
Anyone know differently?

Ive been painting mine - just read room must be well ventilated!
whoop.- went a whole day without my sick bands yesterday
feeling pain and very stretchy this.morning if you get what i mean. In 24hrs ill be prepping for my scan. Canny wait!

Morning ladies, I had my last Xmas party last night with the work bunch! Nobody knows, so I used the excuse of 'Got to pick my dad up in the early hours from the airport, he is coming back from Malta for Christmas'. It wasn't a complete lie because he is coming home from Malta for Christmas, BUT not for another 2 days It was also Christmas jumper theme, so I was relieved to be wearing a baggy jumper!

There was a funny moment though... My work colleagues kept telling me to give up the only seat to our pregnant colleague, who has just made her news public, of course I couldn't say no, but they will feel so bad when they all find out

Still waiting on my scan letter to arrive, every time the postman comes I'm so disappointed that it's just Xmas cards lol

Katyjane83, we have told our parents, siblings and my boss, but we are telling other family, friends and colleagues after our 12 week scan. I just cannot wait!!!! I'm not due until the end of July though so still a few weeks until my scan :/ feel like it's dragging, but apparently Tri 2 flies by so I suppose I shouldn't wish the time away

My mood is surprisingly good ATM, Iv gone from emotional wreck, to happy but hungry lol constantly hungry! X

Claire- I was getting twinges yesterday was getting a little worried, looked online and seems normal! I hope it is!
I'm in 13th week now and still haven't got my scan date

As for moods I've been getting a bit down so have decided I'm going to go swimming this month release some endorphins

We have told family and friends but not everyone yet! Just want this blummin scan. Xx

We've just told our parents, but telling family and sisters at Christmas - twinges worry me, firsttimemum - I'd get in touch with your midwife about your scan. Swimming is an excellent idea, hubby and I keep saying we are going to do swimming.

Firsttimemum: you should definitely call your GP/midwife and see what's goin on... If you want the NT scan it needs done by 13+6 xx

I think it's because I'm not having the downs NT test they don't seem to be in a rush. I feel really behind though my cousin has her scan date already and she's only 8 weeks.
Strange those twinges because I haven't had any at all today. Xx
