Yes there is lots of parking and yes the park is free.
If you go around the nature centre bit (which has animals like owls, lynx, red pandas, tarantulas etc) it costs a whopping £1.50!

I've added you to the list too, hope that's OK!

How about if everyone brings their own sandwiches and one item to share, eg big bag of crisps or biscuits or fruit or something?

I will bring a big thing of water and some squash and plastic cups if that's ok with everyone?

I don't have a picnic blanket but I'll bring some sort of blanket to sit on - a sleeping bag or summit lol. Or maybe my mam will lend me one.

Food....umm....I'll bring erm.....
