Well I'm waiting for the bed........ Again! Tracking says its in chesterfield so hopefully won't be long. If it fails again I'm not sure what I'll do I'll lose it lol.

I'm nipping out to get some toiletries for hospital bag so I don't need to take everything out of the bathroom then going to my brother in laws tonight, probably the last time I'll be able to go for a few weeks.
According to my grandad tomorrow I'll be in labour haha but other than that I have no plans.

My pelvis, groin and hips are very sore today, pretty sure baby is fully engaged now cause I'm struggling to even cross my feet cause it feels like her head is in the way, sound horrible that but it's the only way I can describe it xx

Bex glad ur feeling better today. Dreading reaching my due date... must be frustrating. Come on squiggle it's time.

So pleased for Eli.. nice quick labour.

I had a horrible day yesterday... felt so down, was crying alot. Told oh he has to take us out somewhere today or i will have a meltdown. I've woken up and sciatic pain is horrendous. Can barely walk but i'm still going out. On a good note, baby has.moved down. Don't feel her all under my ribs anymore.

Ammdaz ds starts new school on tues and i'm stressing out about it. If i get past that i will be steessing about the whole baby due date is day before his bday. Really need her not to come on the 20th arghhhh

Well the bed arrived but the half arsed delivery men said it wouldn't fit up the stairs. My husband was stood telling them what to do and they just kept saying "it won't fit" so we just told them that it was clear they didn't want to try and take it away. I cried again lol and now I'm looking for another bed! X

Baby's had a growth spurt! Mum had a feel earlier, told me he's now fully engaged, and that he's about 7 and 1/2 pounds. So much for my nice neat small baby still got another potentially 3 weeks of growth to do!!!

No way!!! Ffs hayley that's insane!! Talk about a bed saga!

I've been nesting with hubby. Done a couple if wild kitchen cupboards and found all sorts of, tidied the garage and porch and about to chop back all the hedges in the garden. I just can't stand to sit around thinking.
Zero signs so I think sweep hasn't worked. I'm pretty set on next weekend being it now. After my next sweep on Friday.
Fx anyway, going 2 or 3 weeks over won't be much fun!!!

Haylian that is so annoying about your bed, you must be so frustrated after all the waiting around you've done for it!!

Bex, keeping busy is good. Try and enjoy your last bit of adults only time with your hubby. There's really nothing you can do so you may as well try and enjoy it x

Ooh nesting Bex, maybe it's a sign baby is ready, I've got everything crossed that you go this week so you can make the wedding. I've had my usual pains again today but they're much stronger and still no pattern to them. I feel weird today too like everytime I stand up baby is coming down more and more and it's very painful.

Off to ikea soon to look for a bed! If I don't get one soon I'm gonna lose my mind haha x

Bex I'd say nesting is a good sign, at the very least it will keep you busy and take your mind off all the waiting.

Sunshine_state I hope your LO avoids DS's school start and his birthday. It is a worry isn't it, I mean I'm sure we'd find a way to manage if she did arrive on Wednesday but I would feel awful

Just been in tesco and got some yummy bits for our date night dinner tonight. We're having scallops for starter, then paella and chocolate fondant for pud so I'm totally breaking the no seafood rule but as we're cooking it ourselves I figure it will be fine as we'll make sure it's cooked properly. Actually I'm probably breaking a rule with chocolate fondant too, oops!

Hayley - I'm totally getting the same pains as you. I've had them for the past 3 days and finding it painful (when it happens). Every time I stand up I feel like s/he's going to fall out! If the midwife doesn't say I'm fully engaged on Monday I'll be shocked! And it's a bit embarrassing when I get one of the pains in public! Hope you get a nice bed in IKEA.

Hope you all have a good Saturday night. I'm celebrating my birthday before baby comes. Looking forward to a lasagne. Hope I feel better though. Feeling very lame!

My maternity leave starts on Monday so from then on I'll be doing everything I can to kick start labour haha.

Haha, this baby won't be here soon. My mums had a word and said it has to wait 2 weeks because she can't get the time off work easily before then!! My brother just fixed our new car though, so I'm VERY happy, it's been an absolute shit. Just waiting to hear on the warranty for the part for the old car and he can fix that too!!!

I am in disbelief at the bed people. How ridiculous! Have you sourced a new bed??

Sounds like a lovely evening planned Amy, we've got fajitas! Not too spicy though, I'm a chicken with spicy stuff.

Yeah Bex I might just do that actually it's probably worth doing it somewhere free stuff is a guarantee haha.

The bed is beyond a joke Kim I can't believe how much messing around its been. Think we've found a good one in ikea so going to have a look tonight. Can't deliver till Friday tho! Pffffft rubbish. Our car isn't big enough to fit it in to take it away either. Might ask the brother in law if he's free to go tomorrow he's got a humongous boot...... Hmmmmm we'll see.

I think you're right that massive contractions are the only sure sign! But it might at least make the waiting a bit more exciting if there was at least a little something going on! At the moment the only niggles I'm getting keep turning out to be a need for the toilet - sorry tmi!
