Yay, congratulations char. So exciting. Obvs I would be happy if my next one is a boy, but I'm so happy I have my DD. And now you can start shopping, yay.

I'm pleased to say that I have been feeling some definite pokes from bump today. It's definitely helping with my 'is baby ok' anxiety.
 
Congratulations Char, such lovely news to be expected a little baby girl! Hearing your news is making me even more excited to find out what I am having! Another 2 weeks and 2 days to wait, (fingers crossed they can tell on the day!) ahhhh too long! Hope we are all doing ok and enjoying the beautiful weather. I have started to feel lots of little baby movements over the last few days which is making everything feel more real and exciting. It really is the most magical feeling!

Amy I'm starting to finally notice definite baby movements now too, still don't feel loads but they do feel like baby now.

I have my scan on thursday, I will be 18+6weeks, never had a 20 week scan that early before so hopefully they can do all the checks. I also can't wait to find out if I'm getting baby boy number 4 or a massive surprise and getting a girl, feeling quite anxious and nervous about my reaction to be honest. I didn't cope that well when I found out I was having my 3rd boy and although I don't feel the girl urge as strongly this time I am so so worried I will be disappointed with another boy.
 
Congrats on the girlie news @chattychar1990 - so exciting! Does it make it seem more real for you?!

We had a surprise with our son which was lovely but really want to find out this time round. I’ve always imagined we would have 2 boys so would be absolutely amazed if it was a girl!! I’m lucky my sister has boy/girl twins who are 2 so she’s got loads of stuff for either sex.

Hope you are able to find out at scan on Thursday @kanga86 :-) Mine is still 2 weeks away....I’m 18 weeks today and baby is a wriggler..whenever I’m eating (which is most of the time!)

Hope everyone has had a good weekend and keeping well, we’ve had 2 nights garden camping. Our son has loved it x :D
 
Glad it’s not just me who has a preference on gender, I feel like it will be another boy just because I don’t see a girl happening after 3 boys in a row, plus I think as much as I want to hear girl I think I will freak out because what the hell do I do with a girl after 3 boys :rotfl:

Anyway if anyone wants to humour me, could I ask you to do the right test. You put a ring on a thread of hair and hold it over your bump. If it swings back and forth it is a boy, round and round in circles a girl. It has always been correct for me, this time it spins in circles indicating a girl. So I am definitely curious!

I gave this a go despite not having a bump yet and it went round and round. So I guess it says girl for me?
 
Kanga, I'll give it a try when I remember. We're really hoping for another girl this time. We've got all the stuff for a girl, and have an idea of what we're doing (maybe).

A week and a half til my scan. Patiently waiting for the OK to start buying stuff....
 
I am going to do this ring test. Does it have to be a strand of hair? That seems a bit weird lol. Can it be a piece of cotton?
I cant wait to start hearing more about your 20 week scans ladies. I will add the correct colours next to our names for the ones that are finding out :)
How are we all feeling? Weather is about to change dramatically here so no more walks in the sunshine for a while :(
I just want normal life back so bad!!
 
Right I’ve tried it Kanga and I got spinning (so girl) I even tried purposely swinging it but it stopped and went back to spinning. I’ll know in less than 24 hours hopefully!

Ooh I’m going to try this later as we’re Team Yellow but desperate to find out xx
