I cant tell you how happy i am that i come across this thread. Everyone is so amazing and supportive. I don't have this support from friends & family. They think i'm crazy when it comes to all this TTC malarky. xx

Congratulations ladies with the bfp’s!

I don’t know what possessed me last night but I did an opk and it came up blazing positive, but I’m 10dpo? I did a hcg test this morning cuz I read opk’s can pick up pregnancy and that was a bfn! So I did some googling and read that women can have a second lh surge before af so now I’m just as confused as ever! Wish I still knew nothing about ttc and just hoped for the best still sometimes lol, I’ll post a pick of the opk and add it on when I’ve took one

Wow Dinky that is a positive but if you have already ovulated and you DTD i wouldn't worry. Or even if you DTD again tonight just to be on the safe side?
Tbh 'm useless when it comes to the OPK's so don't really know much but fingers crossed for you xx

I'm back at work now and 2dpo... gonna be a lonnng wait. The fact I've had not one single positive opk is still playing on my mind but I did have ewcm, a high soft open cervix and cramps so I'm really hoping I actually ovulate this month. Just a bit worried about that!

I’m defo not ovulating again cuz I have creamy cm and my ewcm was around my original positive opk, I think my body just likes to confuse the hell out of me lol

Helen, i didn't really have a blazing positive OPK this month either, i just put them all together and picked out the darkest one and said that was the day i ovulated.
You got the good signs that you ovulated so as long as you then your in for a good chance hunnie

Don't even get me started on OPKs, I've now learnt this cycle how confusing they can be, after having positive at CD7 but no signs of ov! I think I will start temping next cycle to be more sure on what's going on.

Emma - here's hoping you wont even need to temp next cycle as you will get your but i think the temping definitely helps and i read to that your temps stay up when you have conceived and drop when you haven't.
I got a cheap one from ebay let me know if you want the link hun. I started with my temps yesterday and going to do it religiously this cycle as tbh i didn't last one. xx

I love temping! I use fertility friend and it'll tell you, to the day, when you ovulated I'm normally up between 6am and 7am most mornings. So I set an alarm for 5am, I literally roll over stick the thermometer in mouth, pop the temp in FF then go back to sleep. Takes about 5 mins total

i found another app too that has a good calendar for your temping and also insert photos of your opk's and it will tell you if its negative or positive and works out when you have ovulated. Bloody brilliant, much better than Ovia.
I do my temp when my alarm goes off at 7am - Monday to Friday. Weekends i just do it when i wake up, i cant face setting an alarm on my days off.

I'll be testing around the 23rd ish.. Would be great if we all got out BFPs one after another

The excitement of temping will help with the disappointment of a BFN this cycle, as I'm quite excited as never done it before!

I feel like a nutter, but I just got excited because I've had some ewcm, combined with fairly dark OPK this morning, I think I should get ov before I go away Friday!

Just got back.....been camping on the middle of nowhere (again) so no WiFi or 3G to check in.

Congratulations on the two bfp’s so far. Good start girls. Commiserations to Chattychar. I’m 6dpo and had slight brown tinged CM. For me that’s pretty standard anywhere from 5dpo onwards. Just tiny hints of brown in the CM till AF comes for real at around 11-12dpo so I think it’s more likely to be a sign I’m due a witch visit in about a week rather than a bfp but no point counting myself out just yet.

I love temping I have to set my alarm for stupidly early for when the OH is on morning shifts because I have to wake him he's like a teenager but worse so hard to get him up and out and on time but I literally do my temp put the thermometer back in it's little case and I put the temp in my apps when I remember later because it's saved on the thermometer

I'm a bit nervous about ov this cycle if I'm honest. I've had some left sided pains for a few days now, very minimal, but definitely there. I'm a little worried that I might have a cycst, if so ov is going to be super painful if I ovulate from that side too
