Lalaroo its probably bloating associated with eating. I get it in the evenings after dinner but during the day os dissappears. Glad youve not felt nauseous today x

Could anyone shed any light on what happens next?! Being our first time we’re a little like the blind leading the blind! We have booked a doctors appointment for tomorrow -I’m worried he’ll give me a pat on the back and just send me on my way!

Not sure whether this is the norm, but I saw my GP two weeks ago for just a few minutes really and was told the midwife would be in touch to arrange a booking appointment, and they would get me a date for the scan as well.

So far the latter has been done, but still waiting for the booking appointment date so hopefully you might have more luck!

I’ll let you know what happens tomorrow then!

Any news herewego? Did they contact you with some dates?

As I thought, a super short appointment! We have now been given a number to ring and arrange a booking appointment with the midwife. Fingers crossed they see us soon!

What has everybody used to help with calculating due date? I only recently came off the pill and only had one (38 day) cycle. All of this is a guessing game really!

Ive just gone by LMP. But i guess you could go by ovulation if you know when you ovulated? X

No idea! I guess the 12 week scan will let us know! At the moment we're going by the NHS due date calculator where you can adjust the cycle length.

It's surprising to hear how many are already suffering symptoms. Hope you all manage to find something to ease them.

I've got a cough/cold too and it feels like it's Gona get alot worse. Ah well. So long as I'm pregnant I don't care

I'd love the reassurance of an early scan. I needed them with my LO at 6,8&10 weeks. 10wks was best for detail etc but not sure I can wait that long and couldn't see heart beat until 8wks so not sure when would b best to go for a private one. Anyone else any experience?

Oh Iv been really bloated and constipated.. �� sorry for sharing that ha.. phoned the doctors today and they made me an appointment with the midwife for the 30th. It will all seem real once Iv been to that �� just feels so unreal at the moment x

Im going for one on monday and ill.be 6 weeks. Had it at 6 wks before mmc and could see heartbeat. If they cant on US then they can insert a probe an do it internally x

Ha. I remember the internal from first time. Even with it at 6wks for my LO we couldn't see the heartbeat though measurements etc were all good. I'd love the reassurance tho I know it only lasts a day or two.

Hey, I’m new here. Tested this morning and got a positive! And then tested two more times to make sure! If all goes well it’s looking like a late September baby! Just wanted to say hi!

Congratulations! I tested twice too, just found out like yesterday that I was pregnant. Its funny, cause the due date seems to be the exact same as my sons due date was haha. He is three now.

I went to my doctor she asked a few questions ,
When my last period was asked if this was happy news or unhappy news. Asked if id got any questions and typed a few things on the computer and said book my 1st appointment with the modwife , either at reception or over phone . No wee sample asked for or blood taken to see if i was actually preg .

I got early symptoms this time, before my missed period even, and I did last time I was pregnant too. Tested early too and got a positive, might be because my hormone levels are high kinda early? Like the HcG? I dont know. Mostly nausea, tiredness, breast tenderness. Its funny, cause most sites will say nausea starts at around week 4, always started at week 3 something for me. I guess everybody is different.

Wow that is early for symptoms. Im just experiencing a few very mild symptoms now at 6 weeks. Bit of tiredness and bloating. Sure theyll kick kn big time over next few days! Hope your nausea not too horrible x
