***** September 2016 Mummies Tri 2 *****

Ach it's still early Naomi, the forecast will have changed before then! It was the same when we were going away in Feb, forecasts were saying rain but it was glorious xx

It's still better than being in the uk though isn't it x

We went pram and snuz shopping. Surprise surprise I only decided on my snuz. Its not in stock yet but it will be soon so they'll phone me nearer the time.

There. Were. So. Many. Prams!! (And people) so as you can imagine multiple families and hundreds of Prams makes awkward viewing. Some we only seen the look of exterior as it was up high and you don't want to start pulling the place apart.

I think we have narrowed it down to a few. Mostly because I like bits from each so I wanna read some reviews.

Loved the mutsy ones, mamas and papas armadillo flip, baby coture, and I loved the VIB one the chassis was so small and nimble. Looked so cute with the car seat on. So we have a few to look at. I quite liked the all black graco evo and the mother care roam I think it's called.

So I'll need to weedle my way down.. wish me luck.

xxxx

Where did you go Claire?
I went to Braehead yesterday to meet my friend for lunch with her adorable little 11 month old twin girls, the place was mental! Took me half an hour to get from the motorway to the car park (which should take 5 mins) and then another 20 minutes looking for a space. Then the eating places were chock a block and we had to put our name down and go back after an hour to get a table so a 1pm lunch date ended up being eaten at 3.30pm .... we were all really 'hangry' by that point lol. I had no idea that so many people would have nothing better to do on a bank holiday than go to Braehead and go round shops! I hate shopping and usually do most of mine online xx

 Same! I was shocked at how busy it was! I thought I was being organized popping Jackson at nursery and nipping out! There were so many people and theyre mums - including me OH and my mum, then there were kids and staff and prams. It was mayhem.

Then coming home the express was a nightmare - we were gonna nip into McD's but ended up getting the one at Clydebank as it wasnt as busy.

We went to the Pram Center.

I might go to the pram centre today, will see what dh wants to do when he gets up, he's having a lie in x

Hey ladies, had another bad migraine yesterday afternoon so at work feeling fragile today, i took co-codamol which spaced me out and then had restless legs last night until about 1.30am!!

On a more positive note i went for a bra fitting at the weekend at Bravissimo it was recommended to me by a friend, there is loads of nursing bras you can buy but not many pretty and comfortable maternity bras during pregnancy, the fitting was excellent and i came away with 6 lovely comfy bras all reasonably priced one of which is a strapless bra for a wedding i'm attending as a bridesmaid!! I breastfed all of my 3 boys and we thought our baby making days were done, therefore 3 years ago i had a breast uplift and implants, its very unlikely ill be able to feed this time which makes me feel quite guilty as the other i exclusively fed for 6 months (hence the extreme sagging breasts :) )

Anyway if your looking for a bra fitting id highly recommend Bravissimo xxx

I could do with a lie in! and I am only just back :p

Its a bit cramped, but it's good to see some that you might have not seen before.

We hadnt yet seen the Mutsy range until yesterday, but thinking the VIB after wheeling it around.

They have loads of deals too - take home offers, like if you take stuff home that day you get it cheaper etc - and if something you like isnt in stock you can reserve it with a deposit thats what I had to do with the Snuzpod.

Have fun!

Went to the pram centre today and had a play with the oyster. It fit in my boot but only just! Changed my mind from the navy now and going for the ocean colour. Had a look at cribs whilst there, the next to me is huge! Thought I wanted a snuzpod but have gone off it now that I see it and think I'll just go for a swinging crib cos the more I think about it the more I think I'll get out of bed to feed anyway as I would be too scared that I fell asleep just pulling baby over to me to feed during the night and would feel more comfortable actually getting out of bed.

I quite liked the all black graco evo
xxxx

This is what I got :) Love how easy it is to fold down and click on and off the car seat or buggy seat. Also, the handle comes up kinda high which for DH and I (5'8 & 6') is a bonus!

Feeling incredibly sad today reading Loubaloubas dreadful news xx

Lovely colour.

We had a swinging crib first time round and he grew out of it quite quickly - but even with the snuz I wouldnt feed lying down - It was hard enough to keep awake sitting up feeding so the window is basically for during the night comforting as need be.

There was just so many cribs too. Loved the huge moses basket that was like size of a crib - but we decided against moses. It is tempting when everything is out on display!

I agree, it is very sad - life is so cruel and its another example of it - I couldnt imagine going through that

Had midwife appointment this afternoon. Trace of protein in my urine but BP perfect so not worrying about it. Listened to baby's heartbeat. She told me today that she's going to Mozambique at the end of May to do voluntary work for 4 months so I'll have a new midwife from here on in :-(

Think my little fidget has been having another growth spurt.

Gosh i have just caught up on loubalouba's news. How unbelievably awful. :-(

So happy to have seen my little one today. Each day is precious. Xxx

Oh my god I hadn't seen her thread :-( :-( how completely devastating. It's literally made me feel physically sick to my stomach as can't imagine how horrendous that must be to go through. To get so close to the end. I hope she can get some answers. Such a long journey for her and such a very sad ending :-(

That's frustrating about your change in midwife Karen, hopefully the new one will be lovely.

Xxx

I swear bump has grown loads the last 48hrs

Since the weather has been nice I've not worn socks, and been in ballet flats for three days and my ankles have been swollen the whole time, think before my socks had been working as compression stockings...

I'm the same Lander, 3 days about I didn't really look pregnant, I could wear a baggy top and the kids at school didn't notice, these last few days, bump has moved up and my tummy has gone hard. It's like it's found a whole new space to migrate to! X
