Redhead, I also have a low lying placenta, if I wasn't already having growths scans they would book me in for another scan. But it's supposed to move up as the uterus grows x

Yeah, that's what she said, did they give you any advice?, she didn't seem concerned and never told me not to do certain things, but then I stupidly googled it and people are saying that I shouldn't be having sex (not a big issue anyway haha!) and resting more, I work in retail and I'm very hands on.

I was told that bleeding can be a symptom so if I was to bleed ring up and tell them that I am bleeding with a low lying placenta. Luckily I work in a radiology department so my sonographer friends have all said not to worry as it should move up, it helps a little when people you know and trust tell you not to worry x

Got back from our holiday to menorca yesterday. Had such a lush time, millie loved it! Feeling exhausted now though - holidays with a toddler are definitely harder work than holidays as a couple! Glad we did a holiday the three of us though before baby number 2 arrives.

Got my 20 week rescan on Friday. Not long to wait now. Hoping all is ok xxx

Glad you had a fab holiday Naomi. How were you with the heat? I've struggled here with the heat this week and normally I love it but I really want it to do one and go back to being cold!

Wasn't too bad, felt sick at points and my ankles turned to cankles for a bit but I coped ok overall. Was relieved to get back to a cooler climate though!! Xxx

I'm glad you had a fab holiday Naomi , I need a holiday but don't think I will get one this year and won't be going abroad next year I don't think , hope baby behaves for your rescan.

I've got just over 6 weeks left in work I think I'm getting ready for the rest now as I am beginning to struggle with bits x

I've only got 6 weeks left as well, can't come quick enough!
V day for me today and feeling a bit tearful and overwhelmed to have got this far, my little man is really letting his presence known now with lots of movement and I feel like my heart could just burst

Exciting that you and Caroline are nearly done with work. I am working to 39 weeks so a while to go for me yet but going to try and start taking it easier in a couple of weeks. Once we hit July theyve said I can be mainly office based which will make it much easier.

Glad u got away Naomi. I'm on a long weekend for my mum's 60th birthday. Weather is lush and it's so relaxing having no work to think about
I'm working til the latest I can to have more time off when the baby is born but haven't set a date yet. Xx

Congrats on v day scn

My mat leave doesn't technically start until 1st August when I will be 34 weeks ish, but I saved my annual leave up from April minus some days I have had to use elsewhere and booked July off, so I finish on the 28th June, but I won't return to work until May. I had to think sensibly as I know I'm going to get big, I'm already starting to struggle with certain tasks and I don't want to put my colleagues out because I can't do something, plus I don't think I will go full term x

I'm using 6 weeks annual leave too, my mat leave starts 7th August and I'm taking a year off then 4 weeks annual leave tagged onto the end of my mat leave so won't return to work until Sept 17, I might even take some parental leave after that and return Oct 17, haven't made my mind up yet about that.

I'm using 13 days A/L with last day in office 29th July when I' about 35 weeks and then Mat leave officially starts 18th August when I'll be about 37 weeks.

We have a long weekend coming up, we're off Thurs, Fri and Mon. Then we get keys to the new house on Tuesday

Then a month's redecoration starts before we move lol

You are brave, we are decorating our house too, I only want 3 rooms doing before babies then we will crack on with it afterwards so far we are 1 & a half rooms down lol x

Hi all, sorry I've not been around and there's loads to catch up on. As I'm the 30th September, I imagine I'm last to get my 20 week scan, which is tomorrow. I had a scan a week and a half ago due to more bleeding but baby & me are well and looks like I have a low lying placenta this time around again. Hopefully we will see it moved tomorrow.

Reading some of you are finishing work in 6 weeks is making me very jealous! Have just put my holidays in work and will be finishing end of August.. Around week 35 for me.

I'm the same Yess! I'll be breaking up for the summer hols at 31 weeks but then going back for 2 weeks in Sept, so will be going until 37/38 weeks all being well.
