We've had a week without DsS as he's been away with his mum, he's on his second week of Easter school hols.

My colleague was sick today so I've been lead all day and it's exhausting. Also, way too much being stuck at the desk sat down, not walking about. So, ankles and tummy are swollen as hell tonight.

Bump making tiny movements, can feel some taps and stuff, it got busy when DH talked to it lol

Scan in six days :)

Lxx

Yay  so pleased for you xx it's a magical sound

My LG was 2 in November and tantrums were full swing in jan when I found out I was pregnant but it's gotten so much better. Its a development leap that we all get to "enjoy". Great idea having a night to yourselves.. Hope you can arrange it soon!

Aragon, thanks for asking. Im coping well. My gran was suffering badly so nice to know she's not in pain. Trying to counteract the pain of lose by sharing our good news now which is helping xx

Eesh I'm exhausted! Been shopping for the party food for millie's 2nd birthday today, plus parent and toddlers, plus took her swimming. She's had some pretty spectacular tantrums too and now battling with her because she doesn't want to go to bed and I literally feel so tired I could cry!!! Was up in the night with her last night so as soon as she's down I'm going to make myself some pasta, watch a bit of Jane the Virgin then head to bed.

How are others with toddlers finding the pregnancy? Some days it's not so bad and then other days all I want is a full nights sleep or lie in or a bit of me time and can't seem to get any of those!!

Think sometime in the next month we are going to pack her off to her nana and bampi's house for a night so we can have some chill time together. My parents have quite an active social life though and both still work full time so it's tricky finding days they can do when simon is also off work! Xxx

I find some days easier than others but since we have moved he wakes up the second daylight enters the room he is sleeping in :( it only has vertical blinds you see. So I'm exhausted from that, then I don't go to bed until about 10 as I had a few late shifts at work.
On the bright side we are decorating his bedroom and I have bought blackout roller blinds and we are getting blackout curtains too. But I am also drained so we are letting him sleep over at grandparents houses every other week just for a little rest and a lie in :)

I suppose this lack of sleep is just practice for when the babies come x

I admire you ladies that have other kids to look after already!
This is my first and I'm so tired from not getting my usual sleep. I usually sleep like a log but I'm tossing and turning and having really odd vivid dreams. Last night I had to eat lots of salted cashew nuts and all the salt was all around my mouth?!! And I tried to stop a lamb being slaughtered for Easter... Very weird!! Xx

I just had to send an email to my manager because my migraine's came back and I'm almost certain it's work stress. Work is super busy then I get home and it's sort Jacksons tea, square up, sort the cats, play and bath Jackson, story time bed time, sort next days clothes etc then I'll have dinner bath and bed and all over again.

Jackson has become more clingy since me being pregnant which I think is why I'm feeling it too. Otherwise I'm OK but the exhaustion is real

We will get there, and so it begins with 2 at different levels of being demanding lol. Jackson will have his morning preschool sessions so hopefully that'll lighten the load on mat leave.

Really glad you've heard the hb sansk :-)

Hope the new blinds help with the early rising Caroline! Millie is great some nights and then other nights she can literally be up most of the night.

Not good about the migraines RM :-( millie has got more clingy too - she wants to be held constantly which isn't doing my back much good! Hope work can sort something out for you to make it less stressful. I am hoping that my work stress will ease in a few weeks.

Xxx

Naomi ......thanx :)

I admire you girls that already have babies and pregnant it must be a lot of work :hugs:

Well girls the results from the tests are in, my nerves were wreaked opening the letter but we are LOW risk!!! Yay!! what a huge weight has been lifted off, got very emotional when I read the results....1 in 624 chance.

How long until everyone's 20 week scan? X

Four days, when I'll be 20 weeks exactly.

We just bought the carseat as I saw it for a good price online last night so we went and got it today, came with the buggy adapter too which makes the price even better, didn't know it came with it until we got it out of the box, nothing online said it did

Just ordered the actual buggy for collection as well as it had £75 off at Tesco and then used my vouchers (from wedding and getting employee of the month) to order our Chicco Lullago crib from John Lewis so that's mine and DH's work that have paid for it lol.

Only need to get the iso-fix base now, but in total the travel system will have cost under £350. I'd been saving up as well, so it's not denting our regular spending!

So pleased :)

That's really good, I have ordered our new pram, need to sell my old one still, and I bought a bottle prep machine as it was on offer at asda, we still have a car seat, and a cot but friends and family are very kind and donating practically new stuff too :)

Mine is a week on Tuesday :) I bet you can't wait x

We've got most stuff still from millie - cot, crib, car seats and pram
Going to get a buggy board with a seat for millie to sit on instead of a double buggy because she won't sit in hers anymore anyway.

Got my scan on the 28th so just under two weeks away. Xxx

My scan is on the 26th I'll be 20+5 I cannot wait, I know I'll be feeling really nervous but hopefully everything will be fine. I've been feeling the baby move a lot more the last few days which is reassuring.

It's all very exciting isn't it :)

Going to get Liam a buggy board too Naomi,

My scan is on the 26th also x
