Hi Girls, couldn't get on here for a couple of weeks! How annoying.

Hope you're all well - soon to be 20 weeks scans for us all!

OH finally broke the news to his sister but now i'm holding of telling my family as my gran just passed away. Will tell them a few days after her funeral to give them some happiness.

Apart from crying alot, i'm not feeling pregnant so go my doppler yesterday and heard baby's HB

We told BIL and SIL last week. The reply I got was aww how lovely. They are obviously thrilled

Really looking forward to the 20 week scan. It's amazing hearing the heartbeat isn't it Redhead?!!

I just really want a bump now... My weight is the same but I'm bigger all over and got no real bump. So confused!! 17 weeks on weds. I'm eating whenever I'm hungry too. Loads of chocolate nesquik haha

Karen I'm so excited for you that you've started telling people now!!! Can only imagine how amazing that must feel after waiting so long (not just this pregnancy but with the amount of time trying ). Can't be long til your scan now?

Exciting about people finding the heartbeat. I found it at about 13 weeks and then couldn't find it last time I checked but going to check again tonight. Haven't felt much movement in the last few days so hoping it will calm my nerves! Probably just because I've been so busy though so I'm not reading too much into it.

It feels amazing to be honest! This is the first time really that we've been able to tell people outside immediate family, I'm totally buzzing! My scans next Monday, can't wait to see the little fella again x got my first physio appointment on the same day x

It's still early though isn't it for lots of regular movement? I'm sure it's nothing to worry about x
I'm finding hb around my belly button now but he's such a wriggler he keeps moving away and I have to chase him round to hear lol

Going to have a go with the doppler in a bit. And yeh probably still early for regular movement - baby might have moved into a position where I can't feel it quite so much.

How did you find the hen lander with not being able to drink? The one I organised the other week was so much fun but I had one hours sleep in total due to the hen being really sick lol!! I felt wrecked the next day because I was so tired and then was up all night with the dog being sick! Eesh.

Um, was fine lol, met them part way through for dinner and then went to a cheesy bar for a couple of hours. Was home in bed by 11pm haha

Was nice as first time I'd seen a few of them in person since news broke and then I was following it up with 'and we're buying a house!' so, kind of amusing lol

Ankles are a bit swollen again today.

Think baby may have kicked me about 3am this morning, mid-baby party. Was like I got a miniature roundhouse kick from the inside

Sorry for your loss, my husbands grain passed away about 2 days before we found out I was pg with our little boy and we told his parents fairly quick, it cheered his dad up a lot which helped as then 4 weeks later grandad died too. It was his light at the end of the tunnel.

I also haven't gained any weight whatsoever ... I look 7 months pregnant but weigh the same. But I was struggling to eat, fancied a kebab for tea tonight, haven't had one in over 10 years lol, think the babies liked it though as I got a few small kicks I'm looking forward to feeling their kicks more though, but at the same time dreading 4 feet and 4 arms going Kung fu on my insides, can't believe we are almost half way through already x

I mainly get kicks after food, in the bath and at bed time when Im drinking cold diluting lying down. But some days I dont feel anything.

Belly button is about right your uterus should be there abouts now too.

Ive not did a facebook reveal or anything so mainly only our parents know, work and my brothers and OHs bro and SIL. But none like friends or anything.

I listened to the heartbeat yesterday too. Do you think using a doppler should be restricted? Worried about using it too much but literally only used it about 4 times.... Haha

I've been telling people as I see them now. So still not everyone knows. And work doesn't. Apart from my boss xx

To be honest Ive just not seen anyone I work FT then come home, do the dinner etc for Jackson, bath and play with him then its story time, then my dinner time - so really only the weekend is my spare time and then I do my big house clean on a Saturday and recharge my batteries and catch up with OH as hes always working silly hours.

I guess my friends in work are my friends as such we all go nights out and are pretty close - but in terms of like acquaintances on facebook and people from my old area or that. They dont know I just like being left to my own accord tbh its flew in because no ones knew.



RE: the doppler, I think there are some arguments you "shouldnt" use it too much as with any ultrasound/doppler but I think once per week with a doppler would be fine - but not like every single day.

I used mine every now and then until movements started first time. Then got it out towards the end a few times if I hadnt felt baby but obviously your still advised to get checked for lack of movement.
