Ah wow thanks for the info RM! Do you mean you do videos yourself on YouTube or you watch other peoples? It's always been something that has interested me and I used to do a bit of calming visualisation when I got stressed during uni but would like to learn more about it :-)
Xxx

Oh no I watch others. I dont think I have a soothing voice atall. but if you just search guided meditations loads will come up.

Yoga or perhaps now your expecting pregnancy yoga would be good to get into alongside it. Learn some good meditation poses and generally getting used to the nice calm atmosphere and techniques they use.

Deffo good for stress. If I do a meditation I always feel energectic and almost inspired after.

I meditate differently in that I note alot down because when i meditate I get thoughts or images which I know is spirit so I note them down and read back.

Good luck with it all, its a nice peaceful way of life :)

Do you go to Simply Devine Claire?
I went to a psychic night at the end of last year in the 543 club with Carol McGhee and was chosen to go out for a reading, she asked if I had a wee boy and when I said no she said she seen a wee boy for me. At the time I thought she was probably seeing the wee boy I lost in 2013!

Have been away with the in laws for weekend, lovely time in a hotel near the South coast. Had a formal dinner/dance on Saturday night, get some lovely proper photos done and the lady got me to do a couple of shots looking down at my bump, looks really good :)

Had to laugh though, couldn't see my bump though, huge right boob was blocking my view pmsl

Nope but I know Carol very well. She actually got me into angel readings etc. She is fab. I was supposed to join her circle but I always found her a bit... I dunno her circle didnt sit well with me. Shes a nice lady and very good at what she does. She does radio etc. She told me before I even started this that someone would get me i to angel cards and someone would buy me a deck and they did. She also told me I was pregnant with a boy before I knew I was pregnant  simply devine is closer to me though. Down the road.

I go to Partick Burgh Hall. Always felt more comfortable there. Probably because Ive been going since before I wanted to do development. I always feel a more spirit vibe than from carols practice. Its hard to explain she just teaches different than what I am used to.

Thats the thing with spirit they can appear at any age which can be confusing. I have had 2 babies not reach earth plane. Only had the little girl in and around me in sessions. She was described exactly how Jackson looks except Jackson was a twinkle in my eye at that point so seeing him now. I know it would have been a little girl id have had many years ago. And what she would have looked like and know shes up there with my Nana.

If she seen you with a little boy it probably would have been this one and you didnt know it yet.

We learn so much from spirit.

Anyone else feeling anything yet from bump? Mine always seems to get 'buzzy' about this time in the evening... Will wait and see if it turns into anything more solid in a few weeks or so!

I'll be 17 weeks the day after tomorrow

Hi girls the last two days I have been suffering from lower back pain, very painful to move even a inch in bed, or to stand up or straighten up, have not slept in 2 days....thinking its the body loosing itself, my sister ordered me a 9 foot pregnancy pillow hoping this helps some what. I also want to get a pregnancy support belt anyone tried these or can recommend one?

Lander...no movements here if there is I am totally missing it lol I did feel one day last week like my uterus did a total flip it was much to intense movement for the baby so not sure what that was about....

I'm dying to tell people I'm pregnant! My husband can't bring himself to tell his sister yet and I sort think it's fair for me to be telling friends and non immediate family until she knows!

Sansk, the pregnancy pillow helped me but so did changing my mattress.. I went to extremes lol! (it needed changed anyway) just hope I don't pee the bed like I did once in my last pregnancy!

I'm 16 weeks 1 day and the past few days I've felt little fluttery movements especially in the afternoon and later on at night.

I was woken up during the night with uncomfortable (not painful) pains near my ribcage - could this be the internal organs just shifting around?

How's everyone feeling today? Had a headache for 2 days, gave in, had a coffee and now it's gone within 20 minutes. My first 'real' coffee in 14 weeks!

Off to IKEA tonight for a wander round, must resist buying anything! X

I've had a headache today too. Had my first proper cuppa yesterday and it was amazing!!! Didn't help with my headache though... :-(

Bought our first babywipes tonight with the weekly shop. Will buy something every week now :-)

Xx

Still getting milder headaches but I'm having a proper massage on Saturday which should help. He's based at my chiropractor's. He does sports massage as well as deep tissue.

I can tell right now that I don't have any alignment issues for my chiropractor to sort out, it's all just tight muscles where my hormones are making things loose so I'm over-compensating and also clenching up my hips and shoulders due to stress. Extra pelvic weight and extra boob weight not helping either!!

Been seeing him for about 4-5 years now, my current chiro about, eight to ten years and the guy before her I was seeing from when I was 17 just after the place opened in 1997, mum worked reception there for a bit as well.

Ah I love ikea. Can happily spend hours and hours there!!

I'm still getting movement but have some days where I don't feel anything. Looking forward to it getting stronger and more frequent.

I've got a hen party (that I've organised) this weekend. Not sure how I feel about being the only sober one there!!

Xxx

Im getting the odd flutter or wriggle. I wasnt sure it was movement but since my scan today baby is exactly where I feel movemrnt on the right, bowel on the left so not wind lol.

I love ikea, we will be going there in the next few weeks to pick the room furniture.

Its payday next week, Ive got a few things to get. Mamaroo and furniture and perhaps a snuzpod. We will see.

I like seeing what you're buying RM cos I haven't got a clue!!! Snuzpod and mamaroo look brilliant... It's all so expensive though!! Feel lucky I have a reasonably well paid job but have to convince OH we need best stuff too :-D

Urghhh got minimum 5 hours prob 6 or more in car today driving to leeds n back for work... With a 5 hour meeting to go to. That's why I'm up at 5am. Already looking forward to bed. Ha.

Weird but think my nips are leaking already at 15 weeks. They're sticky/sweaty sorry TMI but my boobs are normal?!!!

Xx

Exciting about the purchase plans RM :-)

I've had a terrible nights sleep. Went to bed early but took me til 11 to drop off. Then millie woke at 1:30 and was awake til 4:45 .when she eventually passed out in the spare room with me. And now I'm up and need to get ready for a very busy day at work but am so tired I could cry! Got no opportunity for a lie in this week either to catch up. Urgh!
Xxx

I had the worst nights sleep last night! I think I saw every hour on the clock :(

Has anyone got a really stuffy nose? My nose last night was so blocked up and my face around my cheeks/eyes feel so tender. Even my teeth hurt!
I haven't been sick in a few weeks but was sick during the night and again this morning.

Now off for a shift at work - how on earth do us girls cope some days!

I spent an enjoyable evening browsing baby stuff online :) I like to be prepared whereas oh likes to do a last min dash for essentials so at least if I know what I want it'll save some stress. I just wanna shop!! I have a baby list on excel that I keep adding to.

I've got a hen do abroad in two weeks, I was a bit nervous about being the only sober one but I'm just looking forward to the break now. I might not be able to drink but I will be able to stuff my face and lie on a beach! I think it'll be nice to be the only one without a hangover, flying with a hangover sounds horrific.

I've been feeling movement for over a week now, but I've only just convinced myself it is baby! I was expecting flutters but I've felt wiggles so I wasn't too sure. I had an anterior placenta last time so didn't feel anything for aaaaages so it's nice to feel it now! Xxx

The only reason Im paying for the bit more expensive stuff is so I can buy less in the long run if you know what I mean? The snuzpod does as a basinett/day bed so wont need a moses for the livingroom. It does until 6m so means I wont need a cot for a while too.

The pram I wont be spending a fortune because I will no doubt swap to a stroller before the year for nursery trips. We did this with Jackson as a travel system storing in nursery is a bit much.

The mamaroo, Im getting instead of a swing, because it does alot and I can plug in my phone which Jackson loved as a baby - we downloaded the relax app which had all these sounds you can mix/match so love that you can hook the app to the swing if you like.

Wont need much else for a few month. Ill have a mat for tummy time etc, but other than that we are keeping it minimal.

Yes....I would die if I had to replace my mattress as it cost me a small fortune lol it has eased now so thankful for small mercies :)

It seems like we are all on the same page with the bad sleeping....I finally got a half decent sleep last night after 3 nights with none.

I had a quite painful lower back there for the last 4 days 'probably loosening of joints' it is beginning to ease now, I am for Holland on Sunday, so I was beginning to panic that I might have to cancel it. Full steam ahead!
