Beautiful scan picture x

At long last I am beginning to look pregger's and not just fat and squishy lol but with that comes the random bump rubbers I had 2 people from yesterday rub my bump like it was a Genies lamp....'please don't invade my personal space' lol my lil boy is now kitted out until at least 3 months I can't buy anymore clothes in this size.....I also have a feeling these might not fit him long, if he is any thing like his daddy he is 6ft 7 so expecting a lil string bean.

BTW I have been feeling baby move now for the last 2 weeks, at long last

Yay for movement, it's so magical
I've not had any bump rubbers yet thankfully! I've still got loads more to buy but waiting now until I stop work at 30 weeks to give me something to do lol

I was at a party the other week and eventually had to tell people to stop rubbing my belly. I wasnt a bhuda or a dog lol. They were all getting too drunk and touchy.

Even my bum got felt a few times.

Only very close family and friends have touched bump, and one of them even had the sense to ask me first, which I really appreciated.

Bump has grown over night again, felt a lot heavier this morning lol, meant the car journey home today was more uncomfortable than the trip down on Friday night as he's now putting more pressure on my hips.

However we got home this afternoon and found that after filling up his litter tray, the cat decided the best place for a wee was, on the top of the fabric storage bag containing all the 0-3 clothes  Suffice to say I've now washed them all.... Wasnt't planning on starting that for a while yet lol, obviously cat didn't think this was good enough.

Thanks for the kind words ladies!

Had the wedding yesterday - managed to fit into my maid of honour dress, woop woop!! On the subject of bump touchers though I had LOADS of people touch mine yesterday. Including people I'd never met before or only met once.

Feeling shattered today and dreading work tomorrow as its been such a busy few days so feel like I haven't had a break!!

Anyone going to have a 3d scan? I've just bought one on Groupon for the end of June :-)
Xxx

Didn't have anyone grab my bum though!! (Omg RM!!) Xxx

I eventually got annoyed. I says that's the wrong bump. Lol.

Yeah I'm gonna book a HD live one. Probably around 27-28 weeks.

Haven't posted in a while, we found out at 20 week scan that baby is a boy! With a big willy apparently so no mistaking it. We had to go back at 23 weeks because baby wouldn't let the sonographer get measurements of his heart so double checked. Everything was fine measurements wise although she did say my placenta was lying low so I'll need another scan at 32 weeks to see if it's moved. It's worried me a little though, I was born by emergency c section because my mum had placenta praevia that she knew nothing about and it wasn't flagged up on my 20 week scan. If I hadn't had needed to go back for the heart measurements I never would have found out about this and wouldn't be having an extra scan at 32 weeks.
Baby is very active though, feeling movement all the time. I'm hungry all the time though and really struggling to sleep at night. It's going so fast! Xxx

I had a stupid patient today, I collected her from the waiting room, she then spent 20 mins in the scan room and asked for me to help her wipe the ultrasound gel off because she had a bad shoulder - which isn't an issue I don't mind helping - but then during her moaning that she is always at the doctors lately she pipes up with 'I got diagnosed with shingles last week'!!!

I was like 'I beg your pardon?' ... why are people so stupid? x

Trace amounts of protein and ketones in my urine when I tested this afternoon. Will run this past midwife at appt tomorrow. I'm either a bit dehydrated or might have UTI.

Bump feels so big and heavy today as well!

Am I killing this thread?? lol

Urine at mw apt was normal, think I was just dehydrated after a 5 day weekend, where I don't have my bottle of water to hand like I do at my desk!

Bump measured 25weeks at 24+6 so, pretty much spot on, heartbeat was found low on my left, do he is sort of head down (not that it matters at this point, lots of time!) and my blood pressure was 120/60 so, all good :)

And we completed on the house, DH is there now stripping wall paper and staying there tonight so I get the bed to myself!!! :yay:

Lxx

Glad you're okay. I'm 25 weeks today but don't have another mw appointment until next week. I'm still feeling fine and not too big yet. Baby is moving around loads it's lovely. Nearly made it to tri three and we are on the final straight.

Great to hear all these updates.
I had a scan today - 22w6d to get all the measurements they couldn't get on the 20 week scan. Everything is looking good and looking on track, placenta is still a little low but hopefully will move up.
Only problem is, is that baby is camera shy and hates photos, can't seem to get a decent photo where it actually looks like a baby haha!!!

Glad your urine was clear Lander and great about bump measuring spot on. Bit worried mine is going to measure large as I keep feeling huge at the moment!!

Exciting about the house completion too!!

Glad scan went well Redhead.

Not much news my end. Work is still busy but feeling loads of movement now which is nice. Hubby has managed to feel the movement too a few times :-)

My photos weren't great as they couldn't get good angles as one is always in the way of the other x

Thanks ladies! Only a few days til yours now Catherine!
